"Luther is the most beautiful of my captors. Still I hate him more than the others. I hate him so much that the darkness inside me comes alive."
02-06: If you're like me, there's plenty of steamy conflict in the synopsis of Mila Young's 'To Seduce a Fae,' to grab your attention. Ironically, though this is listed as the first title in the 'Winter's Thorn' series, the ...more

So much better than I expected! But the FMC is very weak, so there's much room for character growth there.

I can already tell this is not for me.. my OCD can't handle starting in the middle of the story and even though it looked like we were going to get the whole of it in flashbacks throughout the story I get to the end still not having the starting point and realizing there at the end the Author is offering the first book in the series for free.. Well that would have been nice to know prior to the start of this book and not on the very last page....

Amazing story!!! Omg absolutely loved this story!!! Phenomenal storyline. The Three princes sound amazing. Author did an amazing job writing this story. So happy there is a book 2. That ending though..... yes cliffhanger but that’s fine I want the next book now!!! Definitely a must read book!!! Highly recommended

To Seduce a Fae Review
To Seduce a Fae by Mila Young is the first book in her new series – Winter’s Thorn. The author introduces readers to an array of characters that begins with a young woman by the name of Guen. Imagine going out with your friend for some speed dating. It only goes from bad to worse. First things kick off with a guy still obsessed with his exes (YIKES) and then…you get face to face with a dreamy hunk…though with a weird name you’ll see) and then…the worse thing possible…your d ...more

Wow. This book takes you from a bustling nightclub to an incredible fairy tale realm. Incredible action, complex characters, a terrible course and sexy tension that makes you want what she's having! I loved it and I definitely love this new world and the sexy fae!

Some noticeable grammatical errors, but an interesting story. Different from other fae stories I've read.

A great read!
Guen is a very interesting character, she tries to find her place in the world until the place she had nightmares of turns out to be real (along with the mysterious man who would speak to her in her mind). She might seem weak at first but despite everything she's going through, she's a tough one. Even after she was diagnosed with schizophrenia (which, it turns out, she doesn't have), she does everything she can to live a normal life.

I did really like this book, enough that I've already started on book two. But there are a couple things that brought it down from five-stars.
I'll start with my favorite parts. I really love the characters. I think they are interesting and well-defined. Sometimes with RH, the guys especially end up blending together, but each one has a distinct personality and I love it! Even the side-characters are written so well. I think the character development is the most impressive part of this story! I d ...more

Dreams, feelings and emotions that could be real or not had Guen in despair. When a prince from another realm came for her because she was the only one who could save his people, she needed to know about a forgotten past. Read first the free copy of To Catch a Fae. Good! Liked Luther’s character and understood better the dynamics of the realm. In to Seduce a Fae caught my attention how Guen was dealing with what she was feeling for Deimos and her struggle trying to remember Luther. Intense and e

Mila Young has a unique way of introducing a concept and turning it around and sucking in the reader. This novel took on a concept that I've read similarly before but made it her own.

Guen is convinced by her friend to go to a speed dating event. Here she meets a guy that reminds her of her dream man... literally. She has been going to a shrink due to very lively dreams about a man named Luther, and now this guy comes and wants to bring her to her dream world?
The three princes need to get Guen to their kingdom, but the journey there is troubled. And what is it about a curse?

I found this book very hard to get into for some reason, I cannot put my finger on why. At about 60% I suddenly got into it a bit more and started to enjoy it more. Guendolyn or Guen as she is known has mental issues and her life is not terribly great, her foster mum cares but Guen is not happy, she also hears a voice in her head which is not helping, and the dreams! I am not going to say anymore as I don’t want to drop any spoilers. There is some good world building and I enjoyed the characters

How could you leave it like that?
This ends with a huge cliff hanger, which will leave you with a major book hangover (in the best of ways). The female main character is a clueless about her heritage which could be annoying but is a major factor in where the series is going. I actually am really pleased with the fact she doesn't suddenly gain her footing in the new world and saves the day as most books do these days. The three princes are swoon worthy. I liked this book but I gave it 3 stars for 2 reasons. 1st- It's supposed to be a romance hence the name "To SEDUCE a fae" yet there's ZERO sex involved. That wouldn't bother me if it wasn't for the fact that they make you think it's about to happen but never does. They're constantly saying how much they want the other, what they want to do to them, maybe even kiss but it never goes further which to me is just frustrating. 2nd reason- the entire story is one confusing secret that never comes out

I'm were do I begin!!! It did take me a bit to get into the story but I'm glad that I stuck with it though. It had plenty of action, intrigue, mystery, and suspense to keep you hook from beginning to end. It does end on a cliffhanger but I'm interested enough to see what else is in store for this series. I voluntarily read and review this ARC no monetary compensation was received and the opinions I have expressed are my own.

I enjoyed this book. I loved journeying through the human and Fae realms and joining Guen on her journey of self discovery. I loved Guen as a character she was tough, resilient with a touch of vulnerability. This book had absolutely everything you could ask for a storyline line with flowed throughout, action, suspense, romance and topped of with a little humour. I can’t wait to see where it leads next!!

Nooooo I feel so cheated. Why?! I see this going in the direction of an RH. But from the beginning it seemed as though Gwen and Luther were fated mates. Destined for one another. So why the hell is Deimos all over her?! Deimos is the youngest of the three princes. Luther is 2nd and Ahren the first borne, also future King. I love this story and can't wait to hear more about the fae world and the curse Gwen unknowingly unbleached.

Super great start to this series! Fantastic world building and well developed characters. I would consider this a slower burning RH. All three of her men are introduced in this book and I’m really hoping the steaminess level increases in the next book. We get little teases throughout this book but these fae fellas are HOT and I’m ready for that level of intensity! Excited to continue this series!!

This book is a fabulous start to this new series! I loved it and could not put it down! Guen, Ahren, Deimos, and Luther are amazing characters. The storyline takes place in both the Human and Fae Realms and is full of action, intrigue, mystery and suspense. I would definitely recommend this book and I cannot wait for the next one!

I am split at the moment on this series as in places its really enjoyable and in others confusing, I almost think i am missing some thing that would help me understand things better- that said if you take a step back and read with out analysing things it is actually quite an enjoyable read full of action.

Geun has grown up on Earth in the foster care system and has never felt she really belonged. The voice in her head speaks in riddles. She is transported to the Fae kingdom. The Fae princes confuse and frustrate her with threats and half truths. This is a great story and I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Amazing!
I love Mila’s books! This is the perfect spin on the classic tale of sleeping beauty! It draws you in and paints your imagination with the scenery and characters in the book. The worlds are built in a manner that you are pulled in and able to travel tight along with the MC and the princes. Well done!

Just average- in plot, in steam, in character development. World building was very good which is why I’m giving three stars. I love Fae books but this story is one you have to struggle to stay involved in and the FMC is annoying. So many good ideas in the story but they pretty much all fizzled. If you have more patience with a story than I do maybe this will be for you.

Mila Young tackles everything with the zeal and bravado of the fairytale heroes she grew up reading about. She slays monsters, real and imaginary, like there's no tomorrow. By day she rocks a keyboard as a marketing extraordinaire. At night she battles with her might pen-sword, creating fairytale retellings, and sexy ever after tales. In her spare time, she loves pretending she's a mighty warrior,
