Okay, I wanted to post my review YESTERDAY, but my messy brain is just plain stupid and I totally forgot to upload the review.
Okay, so before I officially get in to my thoughts on this book, which are insanely positive, because I loved every part of it. I just COULD NOT stop reading. I flew through the book.
1. PLOT
The characters have 'weirdness' in their blood and this plot was kind of weird at times, but in a good kind of way!

Many thanks to the author for an ARC copy. Apologies for taking a while to review.
I loved this. I loved how crazy it is... The characters of Lily and her twin brother Quincy are awesome as is the Fire Vampire, Tim. I especially liked Tim and his character arc was just brilliant. It's a very fast paced read and there are times where you shift from the twins to Sean's scenes and you kind of go, whoa... hold on there... whose this? And what's about to happen now? This took a bit of getting used to. ...more

I thought this was a very fun story. Tim was definitely the star of the show because of his overdramatic personality and sass. I thought that the way the story was told was really neat. The plot switched from one storyline to the next which made it seem like an action movie and gave the book an urgent pace. Another thing I loved about the book was the detailed world building and beautiful descriptions of architecture. The tone of the book was also very lighthearted and humorous despite the viole

The Apocalypse is upon us, darlings! And I don’t mean our current global warming crisis, or just, literally everything on the news. I’m talking about the debut book by Nick Vossen , The Swansong Conspiracy!
This novel however, is a masterpiece. That’s really the only way that I can describe it. It’s hilarious, both in the prose and in the plot. The characters are good and there is enough interesting concepts and plot points to keep you interested throughout. Overall it’s just an extremely pleasan ...more

- New Adult (the twins are in their early 20s!)
- No Romance (purely family & adventure)
Imagine a teen road trip, on the run, mystery movie with monsters and a secret spy organisation. That is what this is. But with 21 year olds. I had no idea what to expect going in, and honestly, I had no idea what to expect when I got to the end. In this world God has abandoned humanity and the flood gates opened to all manner of monsters, creatures, and aliens. You never knew what you were gonna meet next and ...more

I got to read an early review copy.
What a delightfully weird, fast-paced adventure. The author has created an incredibly entertaining, suspenseful, spooky story riddled with dark humor and imaginative characters and monsters. The story echoes elements of Lovecraft, without feeling archaic and cliché. It keeps its reader questioning and at times manages to be transcendentally creepy.

First of all, a big fat thank you to Mr. Nick Vossen for offering me a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
A ghoulish world riddled with gruesome monsters and snarky sarcasm. The Eldritch Twins proved to be a creative, captivating, and enthralling adventure. Mouthwatering violence and gore was described vividly, and scenery came to life in ways I did not expect from this debut novel. Nick Vossen was raised on blockbuster films from the 80s and 90s as well as fantasy and sci-fi novels, comics and games. No matter the medium, his love for storytelling grew ever larger. Having always had a fascination with the fantastical and weird, he quickly grew fond of authors such as Terry Pratchett, H.P. Lovecraft, Neil Gaiman and many more. During the winter of 2017 Nick released an anthol

“If the brightest of minds are the most susceptible to madness and gloom, then let it be known that, for one, I am glad that Quincy Swansong has his off days just like the rest of us, living or dead.”

“Right now, it sounds great to know as little as possible. It makes me sad that we both know, and we’ve both seen how terribly hostile and unforgiving all of this can get. I shudder to think the entire world can be erased in the blink of an eye without so much as a warning.”
