I've been chasing this damn woman for three years. Our relationship is finally out in the open and I'm not letting this chance slip past me. I will make her mine, and there won't be any room for arguments. There's the slight problem of Craig, our other teammate. He knows what we do in the other rooms at night, or during the day, and that leaves us in a bit of a predica

Florrie Younge just wants to do her job without letting personal stuff get in the way. Alec Wesley just can’t seem to leave his personal life outside of work. This is a good story that shows how men and women think differently about work and relationships.

The guys of Reed Security aren’t silent – they never are and that’s good for us. They love to give each other advice. So be prepared to laugh. It’s funny, they think they have all the answers and it’s all for our enjoyment. The laugh-o-meter wi

This is just one of those series that you don't want to put down while you're reading the current episode and definitely don't want to see the end of. This is the seventeenth book in the "Reed Security" series and was filled with so much angst and drama, it kept me in a state of flux where Alex and Florrie were concerned. Each with a strong personality and so hard-headed. Add uncompromising and lack of trust emotionally towards the other, it was a battle to see who would win each confrontation. ...more

This story, in one word, is amazing.

There are highs, lows and somethings go a little sideways and all you can hope for in the end, is that everyone is happy.

Giulia has captured the pain and emotions of a woman struggling with her reality so well. Not to mention, she writes men both individually and as a group, like no-one else I've ever read before. They're funny, downright ridiculous and yet lovable at the same time.

You do need to read the rest of the series but you won't be disappointed.

Funny but also deals with some serious issues

Florrie and Alex are perfect for each other except for the fact that Florrie doesn't think she loves Alex because she doesn't know what love feels like. They were together in secret for several years and never acted like a couple. Alex was their team leader and was overly protective of Florrie. Which led to issues between them. Florida lied to Alex about her medical problems and they just went off the rails. When she learns how to show her feelings it

Love is a funny thing. Sometimes it comes and take a you by surprise and then sometimes you know it the moment it happens. The ladder was not the case for Florrie. She fought Alec for 3 years about the truth of their relationship. She's hiding things from him that could make him walk away forever. How long can one man hold on before he finally decided enough is enough and let's go? Sometimes love makes you funny things. Sometimes it changes you. What would you do for love if it meant digging dee ...more

Florrie and Alex had me totally engaged from the very beginning with the well written storyline and characters that were so well developed that I had a hard time putting this book down to go to bed!

OH MY HELL! This series is my very favorite bar none! There's just something special about Giulia Lagomarsino, and I promise I'll NEVER EVER be finished with this series, plus, I'll probably cry when it's over to be honest. Now, I have to say that Alec was a story that had a ton of angst that really messed with me, and I'm actually took turns with who I was more pissed at, Alec or Florrie. At different times, and/or together, they were both jerks to be honest. They really did belong together, bu ...more

First let me say that for about 90% of this book I loved to hate on Florrie. But at moments I also kinda got her too. Eesh! I was all over the board on this one. I really loved the evolution that Florrie went through. While there were MANY times I wanted to smack her upside the head, I saw how she was finding her way (albeit slower than I wanted her to, hence the wanting to smack her). She needed to go through things and figure out her way and see things for herself.
Alec was SO hot. I wanted hi

With all the lust between them and Alec getting shot, Florrie has been helping him recover. Finally, Alec realises that Florrie didn’t know that he wanted her, and he makes it clear that he does she wants it to stay between them because of work, he agrees with her for now,
Finally, Florrie is ready to talk to Alec about them, she knows he loves her, but she’s continually been pushing him away, but he never thought it would end up with them at the hospital again. Leaning more he realises why she w

Alex and Florrie

As always I love the Reed Security guys, they are strong, funny, courageous and hot! The story line is mainly about Alex and Florrie but we get a lot of the rest of the teams to keep us updated about them too. I don't want to give anything away but Florrie is someone you might want to smack at times. At least that is the way I felt about her. Alec i was rooting for in this one. As always there was a lot of fun and some really hilarious happening. I am looking forward to the rest

This is another great book in the Reed Security series - I have read and loved them all. In this book Alec and Florrie are two of the Reed Security agents who fall in love. Alec is fairly quick to tell Florrie that he loves her, but Florrie is more afraid of commitment and how it will affect them working together in such dangerous jobs. She also finds out that she probably can't get pregnant, which gives her another reason to believe that things will be too hard to get serious with Alec. There i ...more

Exciting, intriguing, laugh out loud funny, griping, hot as all get out and will take your emotions on a roller coaster ride like you wouldn't believe. I felt more anger towards these two people (ok more toward Florie than Alec) than I have in quite a while. I wanted to throttle Florie more times than not, but then Alec and his over-protectiveness almost made be come unglued. I absolutely loved this book and I have found myself loving each and everyone of the characters in this series. The guys ...more

This is book seventeen in the Reed Security series! Oh my goodness, I have read each and every book in this series, a couple I have read at least twice and it is still going strong. What an amazing world that this author has created and the amazing characters that continue to join the Reed Security family. This is more than just a job for these folks as their lives are on the line and in each others hand, they are family. Alec and Florrie are attracted to one another but not only do they work to ...more

Wow, what an intense and captivating story. Alec and Florrie have worked together for several years on the same Reed Security team and he has had a thing for her but never made a move. Florrie is a strong independent, woman who has taken care of herself all her life and doesn’t need a man to protect her. She is also attracted to Alec but doesn’t want to jeopardize her job. They finally cave into their desires and begin an affair, but she wants to keep it secret from all the other members. Alec f ...more

Where do I begin... Alec's book, for me, was a similar version of Cap in the sense that I cried throughout the whole book and I was firmly in his corner because Florrie was being Florrie.

I did expect this book to be a tear jerker, because I had seen the trailer that Giulia had done for Alec's book, but I did not expect to be that emotional. This book made you feel Alec's pain because Florrie was being selfish. It took you along for the ride of all the ups and downs that he experienced. I feel li

This is book 15 in the Reed Security series, and focuses on teammates Florrie and Alec, as well as poor Craig, the outsider in this trio. The initial chapters are set in the present, then three years ago, then three months later, then two years ago, one and a half years ago (we're now at chapter 12 of 41). I got the gist of the story; it was tough to keep timing of events straight in my head. The story itself was okay-Florrie and Alec are quite similar in some respects, and very different in oth ...more

Giulia as done it yet again.
Alec is book 15 to the reed security series and is her best yet.
Giulia takes you on one amazing journey in this book. Not all stories are fairytales. Not all stories have great happily ever after.

Alec is one badass ex military and works at reed security. He is one strong guy. He starts to develop feelings for one of his team mates florrie. He'll do anything to protect and keep florrie safe even if it clouds his judgement. At times though I was screaming at alec thinki

While I enjoyed this book, it was very different from the previous books in the Reed Security series. The first half of the book focused on the past 3 years of Alec (H) and Florrie's (h) relationship. And was a bit confusing at first, until i caught on to the 'history' lesson. These two are both strong willed, protective and posessive characters (though each in their own ways). There was tons of emotion and even more passion scenes, though less real action than usual for Giulia.

Alec and Florrie are drawn to each other, but there are a few roadblocks. The biggest one is that they're on the same team at Reed Security. Oh, and they're both extremely hardheaded. They finally get together, but she insists that they keep it a secret at work. These two are so volatile - can't stay together, can't stay apart. When she has a health problem, he's right there, but she can't confide in him, and then feels like she's not a whole woman because of it. He loves her, but she can't admi ...more

Alec is a member of Reed Security and he loves his job and the people he works with. The only problem is that his love for Florrie, one of his teammates, is clouding his judgement. What was supposed to be a physical relationship has changed and he wants more but convincing her is more difficult than he imagined.

Florrie loves Alec but she loves her job as well. Ever since they started being together his alpha protector side has emerged and she is determined to remain independent. She doesn’t wan

Don’t you just want to scream at characters to get their act together and communicate their feelings to each other! Unfortunately, fear of rejection is a great motivator not to open up or lower the wall. It comes from childhood, bad relationships and divorce. Florrie and Alec have worked together on a security team forever when an epiphany happens and they realize that they have different feelings about each other. Alec has opened up to her but he has also become very protective of her that hind ...more

You have to read each one from the start of the series and the men and women within it. I started with Sinner and went on from there. You can't just read one and move on to another book, oh no, you need to read the next one and the one after that, so on as you find out all the little bits of each character you begin to see the whole story of the series and those behind it. Each character brings their own bit to and and you want to know

Although I’m a fan of this author and love her writing style and storylines, this tension filled romance between confused cold and tough Florrie and Alec was frustrating and emotionally painful.
The whole push and pull of their relationship along with the whole dream Ménage thing with Craig was offputting.
Spoilers Ahead: Okay, so I get that Alec was determined to move on from his years of being the “submissive” partner in his one sided love for her, but I couldn’t stand that when sh

I'm a stay at home mom with a love for romance novels. There's nothing better than reading about a hot, alpha male that makes my heart swoon. I spend most days hanging out with my kids or writing about my next book boyfriend. I love crocheting, sewing, reading, and being outdoors, but in the end, there is nothing better than getting lost in a good book!
