I was given an opportunity, via the publisher, to read the 21-Day Arthritis Diet Plan: Nutrition Guide and Recipes to Fight Osteoarthritis Pain and Inflammation. I voluntarily chose to review this cookbook and my opinion is freely given.

The author of this book is not claiming this plan will cure osteoarthritis pain, only to reduce it and make it more manageable. She knows that while food is powerful in managing osteoarthritis pain, it is only one tool in the tool box and works best in conjunction with other lifestyle changes and medical treatment. Arthritis is no fun and can really affect your daily life. I have a daughter who suffers with severe arthritis and it is no fun when she is having a bad day. We know that food is closely associated with inflammation. This book has some interesting information. Like did you know there are 100 different types of arthritis? This book was not designed to be a weight loss diet, rather it was created to help you eliminate your inflammation and pain. Did you know that some food actually cause inflammation? FYI the recipes in this book are based on the principles of the Mediterranean Diet. Do you know the difference between OA and RA? There is! Until I read this book I had NEVER thought of putting Brussels Sprouts in a breakfast muffin. I LOVE Brussels and now I can eat them for breakfast as well.

This book was designed to help you eliminate your inflammation and pain. It is written to aid you in the knowledge that some food actually cause inflammation. The recipes in this book are based on the principles of the Mediterranean Diet so total win because I absolutely love Mediterranean food. This book has some super interesting recipes my husband loves Brussels sprouts (me not so much) and there is a recipe for Brussels sprout muffins. HE LOVES THEM!!!
