Dammit, I love this series so damn much! Everyone was great in this volume and everyone also got a chance to shine. King finally getting his wings after being determined to not give up was so awesome and Diane arriving to add a helping hand was great. It was sad seeing Derieri go because I did grow fond of her, but knowing she's with Monspeet know is comforting. I also appreciate Gowthur wanting to make amends for his actions towards Mael and not giving up on his plan even after his attempted sacrifice didn't succeed. This volume was swimming in character growth and I FUCKING LOVED IT!

Mael's transformation after merging with Derieri's commandment was eerily simple and I quite enjoyed it, as well as the physical forms each commandment took. It would have been nice to see more of them shine other than "Love", but it was cool so I won't complain. I loved seeing Ban and Meliodas at the end and now I'm so damn curious to see what volume 35 has in store! Also, the bonus story at the end was a perfect humorous palate cleanser after the seriousness of the main story.

This was a great volume and I'm genuinely loving this arc. I can't wait for volume 35!

Not as good as the previous volume but I really liked it nonetheless. Estarossa is revealed to be Mael the legendary goddess and the one who messed everyone's mind, including the Demon King is none other than Gowther. I could not mention these to not spoil it for everyone but I really liked the whole thing. Mael is back but he is angry and still has the Commandments. So, this volume mainly focuses on the fight between Mael and pretty much everyone. The ending is also good because we see more of Ban and Meliodas in Purgatory. Overall, it is pretty good and I'm liking these plot twists.

Whoa!! KING! He looks so silly at first, but I have already sort of acclimated to it. I love his wings. Go King! And I’m excited that Ban and Meliodas escaped purgatory, although I’m sad about Wild’s sacrifice. But even sadder about Oslo! My eyes filled with tears on the subway as I read that part. Rest in peace you beautiful loyal dog.

This chapter is when Estarossa one of the 10 commandments regains his memory after fighting King, Diane, Gowther, and Elizabeth and he remembers who he really is. Mael of the angel clan 1 of the 4 Archangels he is the strongest archangel out the 4. When kings goes through a epic change to having no wings to having full grown wings he beats mael with no sweat and Gowther then goes to Estarossa's mind to take out the 4 commandments he has and then he turns back into Mael as he was once 3,00o0 years ago.

to be honest I was mildly spoiled about something that was gonna happen, not that I knew it was happening this volume but when it came up I knew a couple of pages before. And it was both great and lame: love that my faves power up but it just fell flat, like very plot-armory.

すごく不満名ところがあります。

キングの変装は何だ！？！？！このキャラデザイン誰を考えた！？！？！その髪形は？！？！いやああああああ！！！私の可愛いキングどこへ行ったの？私はデイアンヌなら大問題になるよその髪形。翼はカッコイイでもその髪は納得できない。いや、緊張のおじさんのキングはその髪よりいい。

Aunque el final si me partió el corazón.
Otros momentos grandiosos fueron: cuando Derieri se da cuenta de que Moonspet si la amaba y cuando sabemos quién es el molde de Gowther.

Wrap up on a lot of the stuff dealing with Estarossa and the events in Purgatory. Also I love that they give King another moment to shine and again while I am not the biggest fan of Gowther he also kind of gets a moment to shine.

Molto triste la morte di Derrierie ma Elizabeth è determinata a far finire questa guerra e a salvare Meliodas. La trasformazione di King è strabiliante e finalmente ha le sue ali. Gowther riesci a salvare Mael/Estarossa , riportandolo alla realtà. Sono sollevata che Ban e Meliodas siano riusciti a fuggire dal purgatorio anche se Wild sì è sacrificato per loro.

This is one of my favorite volumes so far. We reach the climax of the battle with Mael and the action is breakneck.

King’s part on this one was amazing and Gowther continues to be one of my favorite characters of all time.

Looking forward to the next volume where hopefully the crew will finally get reunited

The bonus scene with the eating battle between Escanor and Hawk is just chef’s kiss

Wow, those fights got intense. Like Dragonball intense, seriously, I'm still amazed ANYONE survived. A bunch died anyway. But we're getting a lot of questions answered and every plotline is headed toward a final showdown.

The end is nigh! And it will be awesome... hopefully...
