Maybe I'm biased because my brother wrote this book, but I think it's excellent. It looks at the foundations of the Christian faith, from a rational, objective point of view. Peter was a mechanical engineer before he started training as a minister, and he struggled, at first, with the way some theology students approached their studies.

Peter lays out his basis for examining theology, and then takes the reader through the steps he took in determining his beliefs. He takes the Bible seriously but
