They were out to break my heart...

Amelia finally figures out exactly who her heart wants, and she is determined to go for it. She is willing to give the knight who stole her heart everything. She owns up to her mistakes and truly attempts to change, but just because her mind is made up, doesn’t mean her love is reciprocated. Will she choose the best-friend who learned her by heart, or the soccer god who ignored her for the longest time? One of them will win her heart, the other will break it… But neither of them are safe from the guy who will stop at nothing to protect her.

Murder isn’t something Hawk shies away from. Actually, he prefers to use it as a last recourse, but he’s unravelling. The closer Amelia gets to achieving happiness, the more his control disintegrates. And when one of his carefully laid plans turns on him, he loses it. Realizing he’s the reason behind Amelia’s attack, plagues him with guilt. In all his attempts to protect her, he was the one who put her in danger- a failure he isn’t willing to have looming over him… But what happens when his Queen fails him in ways she can never take back?

USA Today & International Bestselling Author of Romantic Suspense, Thrillers, & Dark Romance books.

Don't be fooled by the positive, unicorn-loving, bubbly nerd. Sonya writes about dark hearts, soul-crushing moments, and the in-between of moral code. In books, she spares no one from the emotional rollercoaster and the gut-wrenching turns, but in real life, she's all about the bounce—about embracing the change, using the hard parts of life to spring back up, and not giving up when things get tough.

Sonya's a sucker for romance, practically inhales books in her free time like they're oxygen, and nurtures an addiction to criminal psychology. Yes, she watches True Crime as a hobby. Forever a student at heart, Sonya enjoys adding degrees, accolades, and certificates to her roster, and is affectionately referred to as Dr. Paige Turner by her peers.

Her family insists she's smart, but they must not see her lose her phone at least twice a week, try to open the front door with the car fob, or toot brain farts on the daily. Luckily, they also think she's funny. But that's just one of the reasons why she loves her big Portuguese family, rose-colored glasses and all.

The third book in the Knights series definitely doesnt disappoint. We start book 3 right where we left off in book 2. Lia is finally feeling like she knows who and what she wants and is ready to get it. Hawke is still pretty creepy and is playing to win. Unfortunately nobody else knows there's a game to be played. This series is brilliant and book 3 gives you so many feelings from tears to happiness. Can't wait to read book 4. This book is a definite must read.

With this book in the series comes details as to who Hawk is. This book also is about who Amelia chooses as she struggles to figure out who and what she wants. It comes with many revaluations as well as more choices to keep you guessing. I couldn't put this book down once I started it the husband had to make me quit reading it to go to bed. I can't express how much I am in love with Sonya's writing. I would highly recommend this series not just book 3.

A well written story with unexpected twists. Once again the writing style and use of words captivates you in the details and the story. It is written in dual POV which gives the reader much more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. The passion, chemistry and emotional ups and downs are mixed well. A lot of drama between both girls and now guys have happened, so I hope the next book will answer a lot of questions and combine all with a HEA.
This is a very captivating and enjoyable series and this book is even better written than the first to. A great progress from the author. The journey towards HEA is not finished yet, but I think it should because else it will be to long. But apart from that I cannot wait to see what happens.

Wow, a lot happens in book Knights Who Broke My Heart (KWBMH). Sonya keeps up the drama, angst, and suspense she ramped up in Knights Who Stole My Heart (KWSMH).

Robins takes a step back in KWBMH, despite having some chapters in his point of view. Not that I mind, as I’m not a huge fan of his.

Aiden’s evolution throughout the book is unexpected, but gratifying, as it looks like Lia may have finally found someone good for her.

Hawk is as horrifying as ever. We finally get confirmation of his identity, and, while I didn’t have a definite suspect, I’m glad it wasn’t someone I’d crossed off my list of possibilities.

Lia continues to evolve as a character, which is really nice. She’s starting to figure herself out and is gaining confidence in herself and her choices. her wavering on Robins still makes me want to shaker her sometimes, but she’s doing better.

I’m glad that KWBMH didn’t focus on all the girl drama like KWSMH did. If anything, this one was guy drama, which is much more familiar, and thus, easier, for me to deal with in general.

In the interest of full disclosure, I did notice a decent number of errors as I read. However, I received an ARC and notification that edits were ongoing, so I have reason to believe that they will be fixed for the final edition.

Overall, KWBMH is another strong entry in the Knights series. I very much look forward to reading book 4. Perhaps it will be Knights Who Healed My Heart?

So far, each book in the Knights series has been pretty interesting revealing bits and pieces of the game being played. Amelia once again is confused about who she wants after losing Conner. She’s torn between Robins and Aiden. To be honest, I’ve always been a team Robins fan, but the end had devastated me. I won’t go into too much detail about that because well, you just have to read it. All I can say is that Hawk is pissed and would stop at nothing to get what he wants. I’m really looking forward to what he does in the next book.

I can't stress this enough!! YOU MUST START THIS SERIES!! Lia is continually driving me nuts with her constant back and forth and as much as I want to hate Aiden's guts, he really grew on me in this part of the series. Again, the author's attention to detail and descriptions make you feel like your in Westbrook and you are able to associate with all characters...even Hawk, the crazy one. There are so many twists and turns that keeps you turning the page and I can't wait until the finale! I'm so excited!!

OMG, just when i thought this book would settle all my issues, questions and give me all my answers, OH NO!! it just wrapped me up all the more and chewed up my brain !!!!
Amelia who has been walking a tightrope on who she actually loves finally makes some decisions. With Connor now not in the picture, she's kinda falling for Aiden the Soccer God, but as always Robins is never to be ruled out !! I kinda like Robins, it's obvious he is in love with her but just doesn't feel he will ever deserve her. Arggh these peeps and their issues, i wanna butt their heads together!! But will the guy she wants to give her all to, be on the same page as her?
Hawk the Pyscho Stalker is upping his game, and playing to "Win" The suspense !!!!! Secrets, lies, twists and turns, my head is spinning and i so desperately want to know what is going to happen !!! I was definitely on the edge of my seat for this one, and i'm not even going to think of giving anything away but AARRGGHHH NO NO NO THE END !!! I will no doubt be chewing my nails waiting on the next book because i really don't know nor can i predict where this author is going to take me !! And i can honestly say, i am loving it !!!

I am honestly so in love with this series. I just keep getting sucked deeper and deeper. I honestly think this series deserves more then 5*. This book had more plot twists , more secrets, more confusion, and more interested. This book continues to follow Lia she has two admirers, she isn't sure how to deal with the recent events and their constant pursuit of her. (I am trying hard to review and not give a lot away, but its so hard) Who will she choose? Will it be the right choice? Will every survive? You will need to read this series to find out. This is honestly one of my top read series so far in 2018. I recommend this book/series to everyone.

The Knight who Broke my Heart is the third book in the Knight series and holy geez does this story keep sucking you deeper. I thought this was the last book but that is because I didn’t pay attention, so I kept reading expecting the end but what I got instead was more plot twists , more secrets, more confusion, and more interested.

This book continues to follow Lia and her many admirers. Following the death of Conner and the attempt in her and Hawks life, she is left with the two guys that confuse her the most. She is unsure how to deal with recent events and their relentless pursuit of her affection.

Both who will she choose and what will be the consequences for those actions? Will anyone survive the fallout of her decisions?

This is a series with a fabulous writing and a unique storyline that will leave you hooked and wanting more. I can not wait until the finale book to be released to see what is in store for these characters.

I don't even know where to begin with this review. There are no words to describe how I am feeling other than hungover! I got this book and locked myself in the bathroom for the first 4 hours so I could read in peace! Sonya has a way with her words that just draws you in and makes you feel like you are right there with her characters going through everything with them. In this book Hawk is FINALLY revealed to us, thank goodness because the suspense was literally making me crazy and I was becoming suspicious of everyone on campus Amelia had contact with! I can't tell you how many times I screamed at my kindle, at one point I gave up and got out the gallon of ice cream and a spoon and just dug in to eat my feelings away! I laughed, I cried, I angry then I was sitting on the edge of my seat yet AGAIN!! Sonya, you have done it again with another amazing book I'm looking forward to Book 4!!

Knights Who Broke My Heart is the third exciting instalment in the Knights series by Sonya Jesus. This book took the story, the characters, the suspense, the intrigue, the intensity…. and ramped it up by several notches. Right from the beginning, my head was spinning with possibilities and questions that I needed the answers to. I have followed this story and the characters, right from the beginning- and what a journey it has been. The whole way, Ms. Jesus kept the pressure on and kept me clambering for more. This story is a continuation from the previous two books, so if you haven’t read them, I highly recommend that you do- because you need all that information to fully appreciate and understand the events, character motivations etc in this book. This story has so much mystery, a drama, angst, danger, violence, sinister intent, schemes, the creepy (stalker) factor, obsession, intrigue, romance, and sooooo much more. I have really enjoyed the series so far, but this book is definitely my pick of the bunch, so far.
Once again, we join Lia and follow along as all the action unfolds. With Connor out of the picture, Aiden seems to be winning her heart. Lia thinks she finally knows what she wants… But does she, really? I didn’t think I liked Aiden, but he kind of won me over in this story. I am still firmly #teamRobbins though and have been the whole way through the series. Then add Hawk to the mix and the story really catches fire. Then, OMG- that ending!!!!!! My heart!!!! It had my anxiety going through the roof. My mind is whirling with scenarios and what-the-fudges! I CAN’T WAIT to dive into the next book to find out what happens……..
As I discovered in the last book/s and again in this one- the author has a strong, detailed and descriptive style- she’s able to easily build the intensity and tension in her storyline by manoeuvring the plot to suit any and every situation. She created lots of intrigue, excitement, and lots of questions- by building the anticipation to an all-time high- she really kept me guessing the whole way through.
This is a gripping story of obsession of the worst kind. Ms. Jesus built the tension and suspense exceptionally well. I was flipping the pages, immersed in the story and trying to figure out what I would find on every page, or around the next corner.
Book four, the finale to the series, can’t come quickly enough for me! That sneak peek at the end of this book- O. M. G!!! I have to know!!! I can’t wait!

Thank you, Ms. Jesus!

Well, what a ride that was! Each novel in this series strives, and accomplishes, to be better than the one before it. I’m so glad that I have continued from book one to here. The drama, confusing love, and never-ending suspense is ever present in this installment of the Knights Series. I highly recommend that you start with book one, Knights after My Heart, and read the books in succession. This book picks up five days from where the second book, Knights Who Stole My Heart, leaves off.
Lia seems to grow a lot in this book. It was a bit refreshing, but I really wish this woman could make up her dang mind up. We see a lot about where Aiden is, and I found myself liking him in this one, as much as I didn’t want to. Hawk is still Hawk, crazy and awful.

HOLY cliffhanger! But, as much as I hate cliffhangers sometimes, this one was glorious. It has me sitting on the edge of my seat to see what will come in the conclusion of this series.

Things are getting more intense

Omg I am so obsessed with this series.
Ok , I've definitely wanted to slap Amelia sometimes. Hawk is getting more psychotic. Robins needs to get his head on straight , & Aiden seems sweet but I don't really trust him, & what's with ' The Room & The Wall ' 😵.
God , I can't wait for book 4 💞

Knights Who Broke My Heart by Sonya Jesus 4 stars

This is book 3 of 4 in the Knights Series. If you haven't read the first two books, Knights After My Heart or Knights Who Stole My Heart, I would highly recommend reading them first. This review may contain spoilers from the first two books. This is my third book by Sonya Jesus. I can't wait to read the last book in the series and see how the story ends! This book starts where book two left off. Lia is still in the hospital after Haley's failed attempt of murder. Some how Hawk weasels his way into her room and is able to prolong his hospital stay to be near her. All other visitors have been banned. Once she is released from the hospital, she is on a mission. She is finally going to tell her best friend Robbins that she loves him more than just a friend. Hawk is using the information he gained in the hospital. Because he came to Lia's rescue, she starts trusting him more and reveals information about her heart to him. Of course Hawk uses this info to manipulate everyone and to continue plotting his plan to make Lia his. Hawk of course stops at nothing to be sure she becomes his. The soccer gods take it upon themselves to look after Lia. Although Hawk likes this idea, he is still leary about her hanging out with Aiden.
This book reveals a lot more secrets about everyone. In this book, the reader will see more into Hawks character and Robbins heart. Learning more about all the soccer gods helps to put some pieces of the puzzle together. More of Lia's inner turmoil is revealed in this book. I really enjoyed the fact that her inner angel and her inner vixen are on the same page for once. I love the fact that as this story progresses, the reader gets more detail about the characters. This book still leaves the reader with questions and I can't wait to read the conclusion! I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a unique story. This book contains mystery, suspense, romance, secrets, and hot scenes!

Knights Who Broke My Heart is book 3 in the Knights series, and my third read from this author, once again she has proven how incredible her writing style is, her characters and amazing captivating and compelling storyline is! She continues to prove me wrong with each story being better than the last these are a series that cannot be read as a standalone as they are just to unmissable.

First, off can, we also point out how again she has left us hanging with that cliffhanger of an ending!
I cannot dispute how captivated and totally entranced by this read I was but I found I was still on the edge of my seat waiting for something major and big to happen halfway through the book. This isn't me saying I didn't enjoy this read, I loved this book as much as I loved the first two in the series, but I'm also aware this could also be the calm before the storm!

This read was suspenseful, thrilling, filled with mystery & it was fast paced It was compelling and You never once knew what was going to happen. There are twists and turns that are riddled in this book are so unexpected yet believable you would think that you were living this story yourself!

But along with all these aspects of the story you can't help but relate to the inner turmoil that Amelia struggles with, I still can't decide who I would prefer her to be with as there is still so much under the surface that hasn't shown face yet. As all of Hawk’s plays have yet to be played.

This was an incredible plot, that flowed from chapter to chapter with perfection, and some incredibly in-depth characters that have you craving to read more and an ending that leaves you craving more and has many questions that need to be answered. I can't wait to see where Sonya Jesus takes the next story and how far the characters will go!

Knights Who Broke My Heart (Knights Series Book 3)
By: Sonya Jesus
5 out of 5 stars

The story Knights Who Broke My Heart (Knights Series Book 3) by Sonya Jesus is a new adult/romantic/suspense book. This is a book and series that I just can’t get enough of. I knew that I was hooked on the series after the first story. This book draws you in from the very beginning and you don’t want to put it down until you have read the last page. This is a story that has many characters. Amelia is my favorite. She is a young woman who others are drawn to. She is someone that they find a need to protect, sometimes that even means protecting her from herself and her actions. When it comes to relationships she finds herself getting mixed messages from those she is attracted to. Who will be the one to steal her heart? I could really empathize with some of the situations and decisions that Amelia faces. The way she reacts and the emotions that she feels had my emotions going up and down. I also enjoyed reading about the interactions between Amelia and many of the other characters. There is playful bantering that at times made me smile or laugh. Then there is Hawk. He is a character that you can call a master manipulator. He has a Queen to protect and moving all the pieces in her life around to fit his plans is his goal. He is dangerous when crossed. As things begin to unravel around him his patience and control begin to slip. This is a well-written story that you don’t want to miss out on. This is the third book in a series. I would highly recommend reading them in order as the characters and also the storyline is brought forward in each book. I can’t wait to read the next story in the series.

Knights Who Broke My Heart by Sonya Jesus is the third book in the Knights series and flows on from the second book.

This story has its twists and turns and carries on from the other two books. The story is well written and the characters are brilliant and omg the cliff hangers are the worst in a good way but when you thought this book may answer some of the questions brought up, the author weaves more twists in the story which blows your mind.

The story follows Lia and after the last story and the attempt on her life, she has picked up a few more admirers along the way,she is having difficulties trying to get her head around the whole situation. The secrets that are hidden with each of them have you thinking who can you really be trusted, will Lia's decisions help or hinder the situation and OMG another great cliffhanger.

The story is well written and a it weaves in and out of Lia's life, the only thing that I will say if you don't like waiting for the next story to arrive this series will seriously screw with your mind lol. I would recommend you read these books in sequence as you learn more about each character as they are working through the books and there is some pretty heavy things happen within the first two books.

I can't wait to read the next book in this series.

Knights who Broke my Heart (Knights #3)
By Sonya Jesus
5 stars

I have been patiently waiting for the third book in this series to be released and it absolutely did not disappoint! It was everything I was hoping for and more. These books do need to be read in order as this one begins where book 2 finished. I am going to be honest I loved book 1 and 2 and thought there is no way the author can top them with book 3 but I think she did! I literally could not put this book down at all. I wanted to finish it yet I didn’t, I wasn’t quite ready to find out what I desperately wanted to find out. The suspense that has run through these books has been amazing and I was continuing to guess the whole way through. Just when I thought I knew all there was to know about Lia, something new comes up and I find out more about the character who I have been on one amazing journey with.
In book 2 we had the appearance of Aiden – I stand by my opinion of him – swoon worthy!! I love him!!
Going in to this book I was a little anxious I wasn’t ready for this amazing series to be over so I was over the moon to find out there is going to be book 4!! Although I don’t know if my heart will be able to take it! I can’t wait for it!!

UGH!! I was expecting this series to finish with this book but NOOOOO! This book had to have the WORST CLIFF HANGER EVER!!!!! And by worst I really mean O.M.G.!!! I just want to know who Lia ends up loving and which Knight saves her from EVERYTHING!!! Now I need to know if he dies or not!!! (Sorry can’t tell you who might die!)

This story must be read in series order as it picks up five days after the last book ends. We learn that Lia is still just as confused about her feelings as ever. Connor, Robins, Aiden Keys, Mason, thank goodness there are no feelings for Hawk. Although he thinks there is…he is a strange, sick man. He certainly keeps this storyline moving! All of the characters have so many secrets. You really can’t tell who to trust or who is out to get Lia.

I enjoyed everything about this story (Except the ending!) I can not wait for the next book now! I really want to see what happens to this group of young adults!

The author has a great writing style that keeps me turning the pages and definitely leaves me needing more! You will want to hurry and get started reading this series! However it is not recommended for under 18 as there is some violence and college related situations.

Knights Who Broke My Heart by Sonya Jesus

4 Stars!!!!

This is the third book in this series and man just when you thought things couldn't get anymore twisted and complex. I have really been impressed with the authors world building and character development. This series does deal with an unique set of characters with an unique subject matter. It isn't my usual genre but I did find myself glued to the pages to see what would happen next and just what curve balls would be thrown to offset Hawks plans.

The whole mindset of Hawk is a little unnerving at first but as you get into this series you begin to in a way get into his mindset. I found it to be very engaging as I read it that I would have to put myself in Lia's place and see things from her point of view then the next have to see it from Hawks. I was on tenterhooks at the end of this book though as the author does leave a bit of a cliffhanger and its love it or hate it but it does make you yearn for more and wanting to know what will happen. This author has a very unique style and although not my go to genre I definitely cannot wait to see what twists and turns she has in the next book. This book does really sort of put
Stalker/obsessor into prospective.

Knights Who Broke My Heart by Sonya Jesus is the third book in her Knights series. These books should ideally be read in order as they follow the same characters and the story arcs throughout them all.
In this book Amelia looks to have finally made her decision – she has finally figured out who she wants, who she is willing to fight for. With two people to choose between she has to fight to make sure that her love is returned. However, everything is even more complicated because of Hawk and his need to protect her.
Hawk has sworn to keep her safe, and he will stop at nothing to make sure it happens. But when something he does is the thing that puts her in danger he finds things starting to unravel. He never wanted to be the one to do that to her. But now that he has, he has to learn to deal with it. What he never expected though was for her to fail him as well.
I am really enjoying reading this series. I love all the characters and that we get to see things from their perspectives. I love trying to work out what might happen and which direction the story might go in. It always takes at least a few turns that I don’t expect. This is definitely a series well worth the read.

Knights Who Broke My Heart (Knights Series Book 3) by Sonya Jesus
I absolutely loved reading this book just as much as the first two!! Sonya has done an exceptional job starting each book where the last one left off. I have enjoyed the growth of some of these characters and getting know them better. In this book Hawk is getting more intense and manipulating every situation that he can. There are definitely some twists and turns in the relationship between Robbins and Amelia. There is also a very interesting dynamic between Amelia and Aiden. I also got to know some of the soccer gods better and it gave me a better understanding of some of them. This book grabbed be from the beginning and I couldn't put it down till I had read the last page. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this book and this series!! I suggest you read book 1 and 2 before reading this one. I can't wait to read book four I am impatiently waiting to get my hands on it. This author has done an amazing job bringing me into this wonderfully told story.

Knights Who Broke My Heart is the third book in the Knights Series by Sonya Jesus. I have been following this series since the first book came out and have tried to be patient as we find out more about Hawk. Was shocked but not too mad about the last book ended. But this time she has gone too far. How much longer do I have to wait to find out who Lia or if Lia gets her happily ever after? I'm so mad with the way she ended this book and the fact that I have to wait until she finishes writing the next installment is only making my anger worse.

In all seriousness, this series has kept me turning pages and on the edge of my seat from the very beginning. I will stomp and sulk for a few days but you better believe I will be reading the next book as soon as I possibly can.

If you haven't tried out this series you need to go start with the first book due to the cliffhangers. I cannot recommend this book enough.

Knights Who Broke My Heart by Sonya Jesus
5 Stars

Omg! This series just keeps getting better with every book this author writes. This book was amazing! You need to read this series. The story picks up where the last book ended. Amelia still has no clue about her stalker. He is closing in, getting her to trust him even more. Yet his plans are unraveling somewhat. Although Lis is clueless about many things, she grows tremendously in this novel. It was nice to see her come I to her own and be more confident and comfortable in her own skin.

I have always loved Robins from day one and wanted Amelia and him to be together. In this story, Aiden Keys plays a bigger role and I really like him. I don’t know who I’d rather her be with. I’m so confused. There were so many things that happened in this story that kept me on the edge of my seat. What a page turner! It ended in such a way that left me shocked with my mouth hanging open. You have got to read this book, I highly recommend it.

Knights Who Broke My Heart was a great 5 star read. This is the third book in the Knights series and it keeps getting better.

We pick up from the end of book two and still have dual POV which I love.
We see a little more of the guys in this book along with the girls. There is of course the usual drama and I was left with some questions that I hope are answered in the next book.
I’m still in the air on who I would like to see Amelia with, I’m leaning towards Aiden but that could change. Hawk is determined to get what he wants so it could get interesting.

All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story.
Be prepared for more twists and turns and edge of your seat moments. We are left wanting more at the end and needing book 4 asap. I highly suggest that you start this series from the beginning, I don’t see how this could be fully enjoyed if you don't. Thank you Sonya for another great read.
