What could go wrong with a classic cinema themed cruise? Especially when the guest list includes former movie stars, a well-known movie critic and semi-retired producer…

"Winters will have you giggling into your book!"
Unfortunately, a lot does go wrong.

From minor mishaps to more serious issues, from vandalized posters to missing jewelry… Adrienne and her friends find themselves juggling one mini-crisis after the other.

Just when things seem to be improving, Addi discovers the dead body of a one of the special guests, a former scream queen with a slasher-movie-worthy knife in her chest. Once again, Addi finds herself playing the role of real-life detective.

To complicate things even further, Addi is startled to hear another of the guests, the producer, talking about a script he just received. It sounds all too much like her own story… The coincidences are adding up and Addi wants to know who is behind it all.

Join Adrienne and her friends Cece, Samantha and First Officer Ethan Lee as they investigate another spate of crimes aboard the cruise ship….

Deadly Cruise is the seventh book in the Cruise Ship Mystery Series. Though it can be read as a standalone, it's best read in series order.

This is a humorous cozy mystery featuring a strong female protagonist, some unusual friends and co-workers, and a mystery that needs solving! It has no graphic gore, bad language or sex.

Another fun cruise with Adrienne and the gang. I sure hope there aren’t murders on the cruises I go on. I enjoy the characters and seeing what kind of fun specialty cruise will be going on and this 70’s horror movie thing was fun.

Loved It!

This story had everything I seek in a mystery. There's a beautiful location, lots of great characters that we really get to know, and a pu zzle that keeps you guessing. The author is an exceptionally good writer. When she describes a place, you feel like you are there. The humor made me laugh out loud several times. All this, plus a love story, a secondary mystery, and a an exciting plot without graphic sex or violence. It was perfect!

This series is like cotton candy- pleasant to consume in very small doses. There are so many plot holes and inconsistencies. Cece is now a decade younger than Sam and Addy. That was one of the biggest annoyances in this book. Why can't they use the internet to check things they don't know (e.g., where movie scripts come from, what happened in the actresses' pasts) but can use it for other things like social media?

It will take a while for me to return to this series.

Crazy fans and old movie stars

chantymer@Comcast.net

Celebrating two superstars of years gone the crew and passengers of the Swan of the Seas were expecting a nice relaxing cruise. Very intriguing story of two older movie stars. Kind of a slow start to this one. Picks up as story develops.

Too Cute

Don't change it if it isn't broken......these books have the perfect formula to be cute, entertaining and funny. They're the perfect quick, cheery little read in between the darker books I read.

Great read

Another enjoyable experience. There were two mysteries going on at the same time. One was easy to figure out, but the main mystery had me stumped. Good going!

Zany like all her previous books in this series but I found this one seemed a little lackluster. There weren't as many twists and turns. The ending also seemed rushed.

Not a scream queen

Liked the storyline. I liked that the main character did not come off as ditzy in this one. Hopefully we will learn more about the mystery man soon.

Another delightful cruise with the gang. They are always so much fun with the different themes. This was a movie themed cruise with old movies and old stars. Lots of different genres and plenty of jealousy. I really enjoy learning more about the crew and seeing their relationships grow.
I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

Fast moving and interesting as are all of the author's books. Her series usually have something or someone who shows up throughout all of the books but the mystery wraps up at the end of the book. A great read

Deadly Cruise

Engaging characters. Even though I had read the previous books in the series, I enjoyed the book and want to find out what happens to the main characters. Intrigued by the mystery in the back story enough to want to read the previous books in the series.
