Coleman is widely known for his ministry as a disciplemaker and evangelist, and for many years has given leadership to the Billy Graham Center Institute of Evangelism at Wheaton College, along with the International Schools of Evangelism. He is the author of 21 books, including bestseller The Master Plan of Evangelism. Translations of one or more of his books are published in 100 languages. He and his wife, Marietta, reside in Deerfield, Illinois. They have 3 grown children and 7 grandchildren.

Much preferred The Master Plan of Discipleship over Master Plan of Evangelism! Included deeper and less repetitive content.
“Fellowship, however, is not an end to itself. The times together serve to prepare the church for her mission in the world. Unless expression is given to the servant role of the body, the redeemed community becomes a contradiction to the mission that gave her birth and eventually dries up in self-adulation. I suspect that this danger is far more real than we like to admit.”
“Half-hearted, lukewarm commitment can never be condoned in the ranks do God’s army. We are engaged in mortal combat with all the principalities of darkness, and the battle will grow more intense as the end of the age approaches. Nothing less than total allegiance to our Commander in Chief qualifies soldiers for battle. Christ’s call is to martyrdom - to die to our own self-appointed ways, in loving submission to the will of God.”

This book requires an honest heart, and the willingness to see your life count for the gospel.
Living this books calling will cost you. But it’s purpose is to point us to Christ’s call: to lose our lives so that we might find life in Jesus. Further, that we would show that life to others, and bring them with us.
Very good. Could probably read 100 more times and still feel challenged and urged forward.
