This is a romantic suspense book with more twists and turns than a roller coaster. It’s also got some hot scenes – so definitely not for the non-adult set. Not erotic, but definitely PG-17+. The characters are well-drawn and the setting adds to the overall tone of the story. Although Emma and Vin are the main characters, the relationships between other characters are also part of the plot.

What I liked: I loved Azi, Vin’s uncle. He has Down’s Syndrome and is struggling to find his independence,
Please note: I was gifted this in exchange for an honest review

Really enjoyed Publish Or Perish - it perfectly combines romance and suspense and is gripping for both aspects of the book. I wouldn't say ti was completely unpredictable however it was filled with lots of twists and turns and the character development was excellent. Very good use of subplots, too, with even minor characters very well established. Definitely recommend!

This book is edge of your seat suspense. The characters are slow to trust. With betrayal and death can these two solve the case and prove she was not involved?

Michael Anne O’Manny is a sweet bitter mother of two who is not ready for any more change in her life. Vin Bronislovas is a caring cop on his first day at a new job who leads a solitary life with his uncle and likes it that way. When these two meet..OMG! Family, friends, colleagues a meddling mom, exes, kids and death.....the twists and turns are never ending! Oh what a fun plot and great characters! Kerry Blaisdell book “Publish or Perish” was a book full of mystery and suspense. But, it had a lot of sexual content not suited for under 18. I do enjoy a good mystery, like a “who-dun-it”, so getting past the sexual scenes was my only hurdle.

After Emma's scientist husband betrays her, she is faced dealing with certain circumstances with his work after he is killed in a plane crash. Would she be accused of things he did? That is, until police detective, Vin, comes into her life to hopefully ge

Oh what a tangled plot they weave when an author writes to deceive....
Read the book blurb to learn what this book is about. Dive in because you won't regret reading it!
This book was like a foggy road: no clear visibility or map. Just when you thought you reached your destination, you discovered that there is more pavement before you.
I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a whodunit as much. The writing is crisp and the plot is methodically laid out. While it is easy to read, there is a depth t

Full disclosure, I know the author. 5 stars might be a little generous, but I can't tell. It's really hard to be impartial, especially when I really enjoyed the book!

I love Kerry's characters. She writes them in a way that you really want to get to know them and read more about them. I found myself wanting to return to the book when I wasn't reading it, which is not that common for me. I read so much that I tend to just read when I'm reading and not think too much about it otherwise.

I stumbled across this author at a local outdoor market and bought her book "Debriefing the Dead" simply as a show of support for a local author; not so much with any hope of the read being any good. Boy was my assumption wrong.... folks, this woman can write! I've read the first two in the Dead series (and am anxiously awaiting the third in that series).

This book, "Publish or Perish", is a stand alone and is a romantic suspense novel. I am so happy to announce not only is the suspense portion

Publish or Perish by Kerry Blaisdell is a mystery involving a scientist who mysteriously died in a plane crash, his sexy widow, someone who is willing to kill to get their paper published and a detective who can’t keep his mind and hands off the sexy widow. The author did a great job in making the characters real and relatable, and the plot kept me on the edge of my seat. The author should be commended for crafting a plot that was captivating and contained all the elements of a really good myste ...more

I didn't want to put this book down even at the end. This book had my attention from the very beginning and held it until the very last page. I thought I figured out who the bad guy was, but boy was I wrong. I loved the dynamics between all the characters with each other and then their side romances. I highly recommend this book and I am definitely going to look for more books to read by this author, especially if they are anything like this book. Have fun keeping up with the twists and turns an ...more

The thing I loved most about this book is how well thought out it is. Everything made sense and the story was easy to follow, which allowed me to enjoy my first read from this author. You will be pulled in the story of Emma and Vin from page one, waiting to see what happens next. Mixing her children and over the top mother with his own uncle and other numerous family members makes for interesting family gatherings!! definitely recommend this book...

I enjoyed parts of this mystery type story but it had a little too much sexual content for my tastes. This is not for the under 18 readers. There is murder, a lot of action, and some really mixed up characters in this. I've received this for free and I voluntarily chose to review it. I've given it a 4* rating. I suspected the bad guy all along but wasn't certain till the end. Be ready for a shocking ending. ...more

This is a fabulous book that is excellently written. The story grabbed me immediately and I could not put this down. The characters of Detective Vin and Emma are well-developed and believable. This is a great story by an author new to me but I intend to find more to read by this author!

Kerry Blaisdell did a fantastic job combining suspended, romance and mystery into one great story. A great "Who Done It" mystery story line with a steamy romance really made this book interesting. This combination truly kept me enthralled in this book. I was not able to put the book down.

It was a case of who done it and boy was I surprised with many events that took place in this book. It kept me guessing. Blaisdell did an excellent job in delivering the element of surprise. I continued to wonder what was going to happen next.

Didn’t Like Profanity or Crudeness

I love a good mystery, especially with a little romance and true suspense thrown in. so I was definitely intrigued when I read the book description. I also liked the medical aspect of it. But I was soon disappointed when the book just had too much profanity and crude words for my liking. At times, I feel like I'm unique in this dislike. Probably because I was such a massive reader when I was a child, and of course, read a great number of books without it, it sti
