In this book Jasmine and Tom plan a secret Halloween party in a deserted barn near Jasmine's family's farm. However when they find a barn owl injured there, they take the owl to her parents who among with them help to feed and nurse it back to health.

However with a secret Halloween party and looking after a friends hamster as well as the owl, will everything go to plan?

I enjoyed the uniqueness of this story as saving an owl would be a rare opportunity, also for showing the danger they can pose t
