Happy Singles Day
Single and proud of it! Oh, oops...
As a Certified Professional Organizer, everything in Paige Parker's world is as it should be. Perfect apartment, perfect office, perfect life. And now, the perfect vacation planned to honor Singles Day. After all, what's better than celebrating her pride in being single? Because who needs a man anyway? They have zero taste in quality...more
Two heartbroken people’s paths are crossed in a dilapidated inn. Paige Parker is career oriented, married with a job kind of Chicago girl, nursing her feelings after bad breakup from fiancée. And her assistant forces her to take a break to relax in a cozy inn. Paige gets impressed with ads and finally agrees to pay triple to get away from the city during Valentine’s Day.
Everything about the characters was also very surface level, they didn’t feel real enough for me to sympathize with them or feel connected to them, we ...more

Paige knows how to take control of chaos. As a certified professional organizer, she helps her clients get their clutter under control and find peace with the more-organized version of themselves.
Ironically, the only thing Paige doesn’t have control over is her love life. Well, she does have control, in that she isn’t interested in having one. She’s combatted lonelines ...more
Okay so I had to push my way though there at the begining. I was just not identifying with our heroine AND our hero left much to be desired but I stuck it through and it turned out fine.
My biggest problem here was what my issue always is with a romantic type book that has a child in it; (why!? are they here) I get that kid is not only there to further the plot and make the hero seem more lovable and human but when the child isn't written like a real kid it just all but r ...more
I wanted to love this book. The premise, the cover... I was expecting to like this. But this book was just not for me.
This book is an opposites attracts romance between the main characters Paige and Lucas. Paige is presented as a badass business woman. She has her own company, working as a personal organizer, and she's the typical sort of married-to-the-job, take-no-bullshit, big city woman. And she's also kind of nursing her broken heart after s ...more
Happy Singles Day is a lighthearted, absorbing tale set on the idyllic Aurelia Island that takes you into the lives of Paige Parker, a workaholic who after having her heart shattered by a cheating ex has spent far too many hours working and not enough hours enjoying life, and Lucas Croft, an innkeeper and widowed father of a five-year-old who is still struggling with the unexpected loss of his wife and his all-consuming grief that is preventing him ...more
I’m torn between 3 and 4 stars, but I think it’s closer to 4! I’ve been wanting to read this book since I saw the cover and read the blurb, so when I got the arc I started immediately.
This book has most of all the things I love in a romance book: The cutest kid ever, a second chance at love, two people finding love when they want to be as far as relationships as possible, puppies, and a storm that makes them both to stay indoors. So, yeah, I rea ...more
This book doesn't come out for a while but it looks too cute not to start ASAP! It's a quick read filled with chemistry. Based on the build up, I thought it would be open door but it's not - it's not a bad thing but if you were looking for an open door steamy romance, this one is not for you. Instead, it's a fun opposites attract, forced proximity romance. It's about two characters getting over their p ...more
In it, you will meet Paige and Lucas. Both have their hearts broken and don't really know how to deal with it. Paige lives in Chicago and is basically married to her job. Which isn't a bad thing but the girl needed a break. A girlcation if you please. So she decid ...more

“Single and proud of it! Oh, oops...”
Sometimes you just need a super cute read to put you in a good mood and this was that book for me! I just found HAPPY SINGLES DAY to be so fun and enjoyable. While much of it is light and sweet, it is also a book that deals with heavy topics such as loss and devastation. Each character carries their own difficult past an ...more

So many parallels in our lives. Paige Parker is a successful 'Chaos Coordinator' - which means not only is she super organized, but she doesn't have time for a vacation...or love. When her assistant
insists on a vacation to the quiet Outer Banks, she agrees. Only after realizing it is the day after Valentine's Day- which is SAD- Singles Appreciation Day. Paige doesn't expect the Copper Lantern Inn to be run down, out of season and ...more
What an adorable, easy read! Romance lovers will adore this sweet and heartwarming story. The Outer Banks, a handsome grumpy hero and a successful heroine. What's not to like? Full disclosure: there are no graphic scenes here, only some sexy talk and and a handsome hero.
Paige is a successful business owner who has no time for romance in her life. And Lucas is the owner of a North Carolina bed-and-breakfast who...has no room in his life for romance! The owner of The Copper Lantern ...more
Probably the most enthusiastic fact that i loved in this book was the real feeling of an adult woman that is in her thirties and doesn't have or want to change just because she meets a nice guy that fits more to her personality.
And i love Lucas so much, a wounded hero that is trying his best to be better an ...more
This book was such a adorable, heartwarming read. It made me tear up, smile and laugh many times. I loved that Lucas was such a family man and taught Paige how to not sweat the small things. While Paige taught Lucas how to open up about his past grief and be excited about loving someone again

This is a book all Romance fans should read and I will keep recommending it for a long time.
First, I have to say the whole concept of "You should not change your plans for a guy" is something we need to start teaching kids. While love means compromise and being in love is not a weakness, we should all know it also means we're going to love the other person exactly ...more
Paige decides it will be great to get away, and Singles Day, the day after Valentines Day, is a good time to do it. Little did she know the island would be getting a Nor'Easter and the grumpy B&B owner would be less than ready for her arrival, even if he does ...more
