"My Two Moms" is much the same as "My Two Dads" by Julie Murray. Both books feel much older than they are. I don't like that the cover features a photo of a child and then fake childrens' drawings instead of actually showcasing some of the beautiful families with two moms that are featured inside the book. I love the photographs inside and the words are fine, although the extra design details were not appreciated. I think a board book version, with just the words and photos, would be nice.

A really nice book to show children what two-mom families (or *other* two-mom families) look like. Very normal, very age-appropriate photographs show diverse families sharing normal activities (going on a hike, baking, watching a movie). I like this gentle and direct way to show children that families can be many different shapes, colors, genders, and sizes.
