Meg Kassel, the author of “Keeper of the Bees,” triumphs again. She has written what I hope will be the first volume of another series, “The Helmont Academy of Alchemy.” I love the mix of fantasy, magic and a bit of romance set in a high school for kids with special abilities. It’s written with Meg’s wonderful turn of phrase and with characters who are in many ways typical teens yet in others have remarkable abilities.
