Came across this title on the e-shelf of the e-library and read it in one seating. This offers nothing new or particularly innovative, but sometimes it is good to just be reminded of the many ways that we can be good to ourselves!
It is what it says it is. A pocket guide to looking after your mental health. The book gives gentle and neutral-sounding suggestions to taking care of our mental health and has small quotes to break up the chapters/sections of each tips. It is reassuring that there are ways to relax and calm your mind, majority of the tips have nature involved which I do like very much.
It's definirely a book you can read back if you need a pick-me-up self care for mental health moment. ^^
WOW! What a book it wasn't what I thought it would be at all instead of your normal mundane "self help book" this one was so insightful and really made me think in my opinion everyone should have a copy on their bookshelf and if not at least read it It's got a massive ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me and I'll continue to tell everyone about it!
interesting, thought provoking, useful information, but not in a self help book kinda way. more like an older sister laying out the facts and helping/teaching you how to use it to your advantage. I'd rate 4 ⭐️, but im more into fiction rather than non-fiction. id recommend to anyone needing a pick me up and are looking to actually come through with their new years resolutions!
Read this e-book in an e-library in an hour plus. I like the way advices were given in a very direct manner, serving as strong reminders of why and how we should take care of ourselves. No fancy ideas and stories to digest, just very straightforward advices. Just the way how I like them to be.
It's great. All we need is a clear mind. Don't ever start cluttering with utter unnecessary negativity. Thank God I working with these clusters of people for me to help me to help them. Good read.
Love the inspirational quotes that Claire sprinkled all over the book. Each spoke to me so profoundly. Grateful to be blessed with this practical self-care guide at the time when I need support.
