With nothing less than the future of humanity at stake, it's up to Edgar and Ellen to thwart Stephanie Knightleigh's dastardly scheme to raid all the world's balm springs -- even if it means separating for the first time in their lives. Edgar's pursuit of the Midway Irregulars leads him to the forests of Cougar Falls and an unlikely partnership with an eccentric professional monster hunter, while Ellen and Pet find themselves in the decidedly inhospitable town of Lach Lufless.
But can Edgar survive without Ellen's quick wits? Can Ellen survive without Edgar's satchel of tricks? And can either of them survive when their most important allies have become deadly enemies?
Charles Ogden is the pen name used by a collection of authors at Star Farm Productions for the Edgar & Ellen book series for children and young adults. The pen name is credited with nine books (with a tenth upcoming), published by both Tricycle Press, and more recently, Simon & Schuster.
Splitting up the twins was a great decision. The different locations are so interesting and unique. But all good things must come to an end, even if it's before its time. A delightful series cancelled before it could be finished. It’s seems as though the 4th Nodyssey book (and likely the end of the series) was finished but never released, but with the death of the creator (R.i.p. Rick Carton) of Edgar & Ellen, it probably won’t ever be. *sigh*
Finished rereading the supposed second last book in this Edgar and Ellen series only to find out that apparently this series has been discontinued; the last installment shall remain unpublished and i am v sad 😔
Incredible,Splendid, adventurous, how could I describe this amazing book of the Edgar & Ellen (Nodyssey Series book 3) Split Ends?
BLURB. Two heads are better than one...

Clever and interesting story. The twins discover that they can survive apart from each other, it's just not the same. Stephanie has some horrible scheme to take over the world and it's up to the unlikely group of "heroes" to save the day. Can't wait for the next book to come out.
