I’ve been waiting for this book since reading the Southern Werewolves series last year. This book did not disappoint! I loved Callie and Wyatt even though I wanted them to get out of their own way and realize what they had together. This story happens at the same time as the Southern Werewolves series so don’t feel like you need to read the last couple chapters of Rise to refresh your memory. I had never read a werewolf novel before Shift. Heather MacKinnon opened my eyes to what I was missing.

Callie and Wyatt are everything !!! This book had me hooked from the very first paragraph. I love the relationship between Wyatt,Wess and their mother. While she isn't a main character in this book,she is the kind of mom that everyone should have. I think the fact that each one of these people have gone through some crap within their lives makes them more relatable. I can't wait until the next book in this series comes out.

Chasing Callie by Heather MacKinnon is a wonderful story that I have read. This is book number one in this wonderful start to a brand new new series written by a brand new author for me to read. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about werewolf shifters and paranormal romances.

So this was really good! The only thing that got me was the majority of the book took place during the same time as the whole shift series. It felt really long.
Callie and Wyatt are amazing! They both went back and forth. In the end, Callie had to get over her fears because that's what most of the book was about. Wyatt had some too, but Callie took the cake.

I had a great time with this book. The characters are well developed and engaging with a hot alpha who has to chase his woman. The chemistry is undeniable throughout the pages. The storyline has an easy flow to it making for an enjoyable time reading.

Chasing Callie another absolutely amazing read from Heather Mackinnon to add to her Southern Werewolf series. This love story between Callie and Wyatt touched my heart with their inner battles to fight the inevitable that was right in front of their faces. I could not put this book down until I finished it I absolutely cannot wait until the next book!
I found the interaction between Callie and Wyatt to be so humorous. Their banter literally had me laughing out loud. Despite their stubbornness, they put aside their differences and accept their fated mate.
It is a page turner. You find yourself rooting for the characters and it keeps you on the edge of your seat. Love this series and I can't wait for more. It's a book that you want to finish but don't want it to end.

This book had me on the edge of my seat the whole time! I loved it! The internal struggles they have with deciding what they want are easy to relate to and my heart just melted anytime they were together.

This pair have one hell of a roller-coaster relationship that's for sure. From the flirting in the beginning and just getting deeper and deeper.

I was hoping it would concentrate more on the relationship after Ellie and Abey’s story, since that’s where it left off. It was hard to get into the past after having just read the other books, but definitely got into it the more I read.

Another favorite new author I’ve recently come across is Heather MacKinnon. I came across her last year around October ... you know with Halloween and werewolves and whatnot !! Her latest, Chasing Callie was a unique spin on the story of Elizabeth & Abraham ... the couple portrayed in MacKinnon’s ‘Shift’, ‘Howl’, and ‘Rise’ books. I liked it.
