Cameron was my sort of heroine. She was a go getter who found pleasure in pushing the buttons of her boss. She skirted the line knowing that if she took the step it will be unforgettable and she could risk it all.
Wyatt want the same thing and knew he had to remain silent. They played the game and it was fine. Until it wasn't.
Wood's contribute to the Driven world was interesting. It wasn't what I expected, these two take a sweet time in figuring out things. They both need to Shift.
She need to shift her mind to see what she was leaving behind and Wyatt had to completely shift his mind from the way he drives his life. He need to take a moment and figure out what he could have and he did just in time.
Shift is about the moment, when it comes to breaking point and realising that only a shift can change the course of your life. It's about embracing the change and letting love take it's root and make magic.
Wyatt want the same thing and knew he had to remain silent. They played the game and it was fine. Until it wasn't.

I really enjoyed this story. The author creates characters that are more than just words. You are able to really get into their minds, and see there is so much more to them than meets the eye. I loved the back and forth chemistry between Wyatt and his employee. There was just enough angst, plenty of spice and a great story line. An overall enjoyable read. I'm excited to see the other books in this series, and I look forward to reading more by this author.

If you loved the Driven series you will definitely love this book. Although it's not written by K.Bromberg there are many background connections and I might add brilliantly done.
The racing world isn't just about the speed, there are so many supporting jobs that needs to be done like the representation of the athletes.
Wyatt the owner of a representating agency wouldn't be able to get things done without his assistants. Especially one of them...Cameron. She doesn't like him yet she is attracted to him and when necessary she lets him know about his attitude. That is totally refreshing for him and he develops admiration for her.
Their attraction is feelable but they keep things professional until they don't....from friends they become lovers.
I loved the way Wyatt's true personality got uncovered. When you got to know him better you just couldn't else than fall in love with him. And Cam? She is simply brilliant and they made such sense as they fit so well together.
In this book there are so many wonderful twists it wasn't possible to just stop to read. I had to continue as it made me hungry for more.

August 31, 2020Had to DNF. I didn’t care for the characters (especially Wyatt), and there was a lot of repetition. I made it to 45% and couldn’t take it anymore. If you like alphaholes and snarky females, then you’ll like this, but it wasn’t for me.
Also, I felt like I was reading the characters’ thoughts the entire time (stream of consciousness) instead of a polished book.

An office romance with a difference. A Boss and his assistant who realise that they are attracted to each other. A slow burning emotional roller coaster for Cameron and Wyatt. A high adrenaline story. Loved it!!

Amazing story

2 snaps in a circle behind the back!! Yes J. S. Wood!! The closer to the end the book came, the more I didn’t want it to end. Wyatt and Cam’s love story was full of their drama - and others (Mama drama that really bites); romance; skeletons - they just kept falling out of the closet...someone should have put a deadbolt on THAT door; swoon worthy love moments - “‘...we will always learn to shift. Together.’” I loved this and now I have yet another series to get caught up on!!

Author K. Bromberg has written a note to the reader – please make sure to read it.
Cameron has the need for speed. I’m a little jealous of that part of her life. Wyatt does not have me feeling sorry for him – playing world’s smallest violin. He’s one of those guys I would stay clear of or turn and walk away.
I felt like this would be a book to get lost in and that was due to the way the author gave life to Cameron. You want to be her friend, give her advice, and be there for her when she needs an ear. Then we come to Wyatt. I had the difficult task of trying to like him. The author made that part very difficult. But luckily this is a work of fiction so it’s ok to hate a character. It’s ok to want someone better for Cameron. For a while I thought it would be one of the author’s secondary characters.
Slowly, the author turns my thinking around as I finally saw past the office setting. At one point I thought he felt insecure and that was due to his family dynamic. He just needed the right person to show him the way to be better than his upbringing. That’s the point that the author made the book a page-turner for me.
There’s no way that I could even thinking of putting this book down. We also get to see into Cameron’s personal life and that may tug at your heart. It hit me in my heart for personal reasons. That is one way that the author shows how good she is at her job. She also knows that she can’t turn the story to making that part more important because then her main characters might get lost. You’ll see it turn sweet which will pull you into the right direction.
It was nice to see a young woman grow in a business that is usually mostly run by men. We see a man willing to change and let a woman find her way and be by her side as she navigates her new world. The only way to know if Wyatt redeems himself is to read the book until the very end. There’s romance within this story but at one point it may be hard to see. There is a happy ending and that shines brightly.

4 Shift Stars!!! Sexy, and sinfully fun!
Wyatt is the owner of an agency and requires assistants for everything, like he can't do anything without them. And one of them is Cameron. Cameron, is a feisty girl and while she can't stand Wyatt, she can't deny the attraction she feels for him. She tries to bury that down deep but it just keeps bubbling up. And while most of his assistants let him walk all over them, Cameron puts Wyatt in his place and he finds that refreshing. And because of this a friendship blossoms and dare I say feelings?
I really liked this book, it was cute and fun. I loved how feisty and fierce Cameron was from the beginning and her take no prisoners attitude! She definitely a girl you can love. And I loved Wyatt and while he is tough as nails, he has a heart in there and that comes out along the way!! Great book!

At first glance (or first page) Wyatt is a jerk with a capital J, a leading sports agent, he has no time for fun. When attending social events Wyatt hires his dates from professional agencies so there is no expectation of it being more than a business deal, he doesn’t need any more in his life, he is happy with his success and the luxuries it affords him, but the attraction to his sassy assistant is an inconvenience he can’t afford to get in his way, and is something he needs to keep a lid on.
Cameron is spunky and filled with attitude, she knows how to push Wyatt’s buttons and she takes much happiness in doing so. Having worked as one of Wyatt’s assistants for the past three years, she can do the job in her sleep, and giving her stuffy boss grief keeps her amused. The fact that he is sinfully good looking doesn’t make her job any easier, but to keep her feelings to herself, she avoids him as much as possible.
As the pair work closer together the simmering attraction begins to boil over, and when they give in, someone is bound to get burnt. Especially as both are hiding secrets. Trust is hard for this pair and when something innocent is made to look anything but, the foundation they have built begin to crumble.
Not a fan of Wyatt in the beginning, he certainly grew on me as the story went on. Cam is a strong heroine, she knows what she wants and goes for it, which is something I admire. A great read, great characters and an excellent storyline. I haven’t read the Driven series, but I didn’t feel I needed to have to enjoy this book. A thoroughly enjoyable read.

Again another great book to keep me in Tge Driven World
I’m loving this setting where the characters know the driver and attend the races , thereby keeping us In the zone and introducing us to new characters at the track
Once again Colton made an oh so brief appearance and kept us in the loop with the charity we first read about in Book 1 of Colton
Cameron and Wyatt a fabulous team in the office due to Cameron’s diligence for knowing her boss inside out and Wyatt for realising what she does for him
Then he realises he has stipoed thinking of her as just his assistant
I loved how Wyatt was not our Man about town popular with the ladies
He was quite reserved bordering on reclusive except fir work and events he attended due to his clients
I loved the dynamic of these to once they realised there was a spark and even though Wyatt was on board early it was Cameron we jad to read about what she wanted
Also they both had their own issues with their pasts, I was pleased to see Cameron get on the front foot with Wyatts mother, not a character I was fond of
I like how there is a note at the beginning from Ms Bromberg and I think the author did the Driven World justice and I really enjoyed reading about TDW from another point of view and aspect.

Wyatt Price is an alpha arsehole with a capital A and you can't help but love him. Cameron Hayes is super sassy with a capital S and downright adorable. He's her boss. She's his assistant. Their love-hate relationship is explosive, to say the least, and working together is all but intolerable until it isn't. The attraction between them is obvious to everyone but them or is it? They both have feelings simmering away in the background and it's not long before unexpected events find Wyatt and Cameron revealing how they feel for each other. Be prepared for some toe tingling moments along the way. Unfortunately, the course of true love doesn't run smoothly for these two but as it's a romance and even though Wyatt's mother throws a spanner in the works we know that they will eventually find the happiness they deserve. As Shift is part of The Driven World we see a little of the characters we already love. It's an enjoyable read one I would recommend.

Although not written by K. Bloomberg, this book is a spin off of her Driven series. J.S. Wood has been able to bring us this story, of Wyatt and Cameron, and does so in a way that even if you have not read the original series you are not lost. Wyatt is the owner of representing agency and Cameron is on his team. She does not really like him at first and will call him out on his shit.
I loved how through the book you saw a different side to Wyatt, or should I say the real Wyatt. J.S. Wood gets you going with the twists and turns throughout, and has made a definite page turner as you want to find out what happens.
I will be getting the original Driven series, as I want to know more about it.
If your looking for a new series or book to read I highly recommend this book.

This book was just ok for me. I loved the main characters and a couple of the secondary characters as well. Their chemistry was hot and loved their banter. I loved the duel POV as well. This was a little bit of angst but not over the top. My problem was that some story seemed skipped. Like not going into detail about some things and all of a sudden it just happened without much explanation. I would have liked more with the epilogue again the detail was skipped. One second Wyatt is telling us his plan but the next part was Cameron’s POV and everything was already done. Just skipped over his plan, and we didn’t get to read how he did things (trying not to spoil anything). Was a good story just fell flat in a few things for me.

This was a cute slow burn romance. This is Cameron and Wyatt's story. Wyatt is an arrogant, stubborn sports agent and Cameron is one of his assistants who is a real go getter and sometimes isn't afraid to hold her tongue with some of Wyatt's request. In this story you will read how they shift from boss to employee, to friends to lovers. Of course there are obstacles these two have to overcome as they both come from different world's and there are people will try to tear them apart. It was a great story but I wanted more. I would of loved more banter and interaction between these two. I didn't really feel they had a strong connection.

This story caught my attention only with the blurb. I love office romances and Shift delivers what I wanted.
At first it was a bit slow for my liking, building little by little. Giving us glimpses of what was to come.
And then I got to know the characters better and I loved them. I realize that they were complex and deep with so much to tell. And I was able to get more involved with their story and witness how they navigate the changes from a professional relationship to a personal one.
Cameron and Wyatt are perfect for each other and their connection was swoon-worthy. Their story is lovely and J.S. Wood placed each word perfectly so that we could feel every emotion.
Shift is a beautiful story with the perfect amount of angsts to keep things moving. A great addition to K. Bromberg’s Driven World.

“SHIFT” is the first book I’ve read by JS Wood as well as the first I’ve read in K. Bromberg’s Driven World, and I absolutely loved it! From start to finish I was pulled right in and enjoyed getting to know main characters, Cameron Hayes and Wyatt Price. I laughed, I cried, I felt Cameron’s frustration she had while working for her boss. I found this book to be so well written that it was easy to follow and fall in love with the story as well as all the characters.... it has all the feels, plus a nice side of heat....there was such a good flow to the story. I’m happy to say I’ve gained another Author to read and I will enjoy exploring the K. Bromberg’s world! ~ Angie❤️

This was my first book in the driven series... something I want to rectify.
I loved this story and Wyatt and Cameron were perfect together.
Love how we see the change in Wyatt from jerk boss to a guy that just wants someone to share his life with.
Cam also has a lot to work through before she can give everything to a relationship.
Both of them need to learn how to trust someone else with their heart and believe that the person they are giving it to will love them back.

Oh wow, I love this story .
I couldn't get enough of Cameron and Wyatt's story .
I most definitely held my breath on one or two occasions, and I most definitely wanted to swear at a couple of characters once or twice too ..
To the outside world Wyatt and Cameron are strong independent , take no crap, people , but the more we delve into their story we find people that have been hurt in the past , and sometimes their insecurities creep up on them .
Great read

So truth be told I have not read a single book within the Drive series...I must correct that asap. This book was so fantastic!
Wyatt took me by surprise more then once. My heart broke for him at times. Then we have our fantastic female character who is not weak and does not fall prey to being a victim. Loved Cam! Now I also need Chet and Blake’s

Nice story
This was a nice story but I can not see why it's part of the drive world as it had little to do with racing. But even said that I must say it was a nice story and an amazing storyline its my first book by this author and I will read more from this author

Office romance
J.S. Wood has created an amazing story!! The characters are complex and real and the feelings she’s able to pull out of you as you read it is fabulous!! The romance and connection between them is one everyone searches for in real life

Oh my god, love this book. Was perfect in every aspect, fun, steamy, sweet, sexy and swooning. Love the characters as they complement each other perfectly and how the start and the finish line is just whay my heart desired. I highly recommend it.

This book was such a good read. Wyatt is like a force to be reckoned with and Cameron keeps him on track. Yet when things in there relationship change its those little things that make a difference. A sexy, romantic emotional journey. I loved reading this book xx

Cameron and Wyatt are the cutest. I was sitting on the edge waiting for these two to get together. Such a great read! First book I have read by this author and in this series; definitely reading more.
