So, this wasn't what I expected. It really opened my eyes to the different personalities of Elizabeth and Mary. The traditions back in that time and the way they were set in their worship at the Temples. It was interesting. I was always under the impression that Elizabeth knew what John the Baptist's role was in the preparation for Jesus Christ. It is hard for me to believe all of this hatred Elizabeth had for God.
It was a good one for a discussion, I am sorry I missed it when we did it for Book Club in Topsham!!!!

Meh. Entirely forgettable "feminist" Biblical fiction. But weirdly compelling.
