I left my life behind me.

My sister.

My MC.

I need room to breathe and room to think, to make my own choices and to own my mistakes.

Bitterness and anger cloud my judgment when it comes to the MC. What is so great about them that I can't have on the outside? What is so great about the patch?

That is all I've experienced with the club.

I hated to leave my sister.

Loved it!! Boomer has a head of negative thoughts and it's driving him crazy. So he leaves and just drives for days. Ends up at the beach where there is another chapter of the Ruthless Kings. Good thing he let his cut behind. He wants out.

At the junky hotel room he finds at the beach he tries to make friends with the old man running the place. Ornery old man. When he takes him out to breakfast the Ruthless Kings show up and you can tell people are scared of them and hate them. Not like it was ba

When I read Reaper I was completely put under a spell. All I could think was these guys are savage (no pun intended), and I love them all! And by savage, I mean totally intoxicating and addicting to me as a lover of dark gritty MC books . This author hit all my pulse points with her style and voice. Boomer's story was exactly what his name leads you to think … BOOM !!

This is the part where I tell you:
1. This is not a standalone in my opinion. Technically, the journey of Boomer and Scarlett

So, I really liked this. Boomer and Scarlett have such a troubled story. His struggles are more internal where as she has to overcome things that have happened to her. We get to watch them heal, together, as they fall in love.

This is a gritty mc (a lot of serious action goin on!) and even though it's part of a series, I feel like it could be read on it's own. It's even set in a different location. I really liked to see the hidden inner strength in these two, and how loved Boomer is even if he d

This is a five star read! We get the love story of Jenkins, aka Boomer, in this second book in the Ruthless Kings series. I was intrigued by Boomer in the first book and the prequel, especially since we meet him as a child in the prequel. Since the first book is Sarah and Reaper’s points of view, we don’t really get a lot of insight into Boomer, other than the notion that he might not be happy being a part of the MC. Savage wastes no time with Boomer, and it’s clear right from the start that he ...more

Soooo.... I have no words to actually describe what I read. That's the main reason that it took me so long since I finished the book to write a review. Boomer's story had it all! Steam, drama, mayhem and a happily ever after! I think maybe "Damaged Souls MC" would be a more suited name for the Kings! ...more

This is the second book of the series and I loved this one more than the first. This book takes us away from the Vegas MC and introduces another club. I loved the change in scenery. The book is very dark and heavy on the MC life.

I loved everything about Boomer. He has baggage, perhaps some mental health issues, anger, and buried deep down is a heart of gold. He is looking for a purpose in life and set out thinking he had to do that on his own, As we all are aware---good friends and family enrich

You ever see a beautiful ornament broken on the floor everyone walks around it but no one sees it? That's Boomer. He has demons in his head, a heart that isn't as black as he thinks and a "family" that loves him. But he needs to find his own happiness.

Luckily for Scarlett he chose where he did to ride to. Scarlett is in a bad way despite being young she's smart but it doesnt change her pain and fears she's currently going through.

These two are going to pour your emotions all over the place. Ev

He’s a wicked want, a sinister promise. And I plan to give in to both.

Boomer’s story blew my mind. (All the puns intended) But seriously, guys. This story was quick, intense and absolutely electrifying. It was like one minute I started the book and the next thing I knew it was over. But I closed this story feeling satisfied with how it all worked out. I wouldn’t have expected anything less for Boomer.

But dude. This book is not for the faint of heart. It’s intense. Like intense-intense. And it

Boomer feels so alone I felt at times and was longing to be somewhere he belongs.
When he meets Scarlett things start to change for him and he’s finding a new purpose in life

I loved the ending of this book!!! Amazing

The only good thing about these books are the covers

The writing is cringe inducing. I assume there was some editing but like the writing it's just bad, really bad.

“Boomer” is book 2 in the “Ruthless Kings MC” series. When I started the book, I couldn’t predict that Boomer will become my favorite of the Ruthless Kings!! I’m a sucker for broken and crazy characters and Jenkins is exactly that!

Boomer always felt like an outsider in the MC. He can’t get past the fact that the MC cost him his father. Even though Reaper and all the others raise him, he harbors too much anger. That’s why he decides to leave Vegas and ends up in Atlanta City. He might have left,

WOW what a gripping MC ride. We met Boomer as a kid in the prequel to the series. He had just lost his father and became Reaper’s ward (Reaper is the Prez of the Ruthless Kings MC). Boomer was a handful at times, he was a good yet troubled kid. In book 1 (Reaper’s story) we got to know Boomer as an adult, the product of being raised in an MC. Now in book 2 of the series we get Boomer's story from his eyes. He is now prospecting for the MC but he is still deeply troubled. He can’t seem to drown o ...more

"You never have to explain why you want me to hold you. I'll do it because there isn't anything more in the world I want."

Boomer is the second book in Ruthless Kings MC series. When I started this book there wasn't synopsis in Goodreads yet, so I had no idea who Boomer was. He was in Reaper but I didn't remember him until I started the first chapter.

Boomer decides to leave his family and friends to find himself. I like Boomer more in this book but he has a lot of problems of thinking he

This book was really good - but there was some times when I just had to put it to the side because wow... There were so many emotions and everything. But I still thought it was amazing and I would read so much more about Boomer and Scarlett and whatever their future brings

Boomer is a flawed character right from the start and both him and Scarlett are two tortured souls who find each other! The plot was well written and well laid out with characters that were so strongly created that I was totally invested in Scarlett and Boomer's journey as it unfolded! ...more
I have a soft spot for this type of hero. The heroine has been through a really rough time of it, but her and the hero somehow fit. It was great to see the supporting characters; it was like reuniting with family. I really enjoyed this book.

Nice Addition

I was slow to start this book, because I was disappointed that Boomer had left the chapter from book one. I was glad when things turned around so that some of the brothers from Vegas showed up. That said, the ending disappointed a little, because he wasn’t going back.

Scarlett and Jenkins made a nice couple. The sexual tension was high, and their sexy times were good. It was kind of insta-love, but not over the top, considering the circumstances.

I was disappointed in Scarlet for rac

So I have buckle your seatbelt because we are going on a ride. We Boomer and Scarlett who have such difficult stories. These two are getting over things or just fighting to keep it together. This is the second book and I recommend you read the first book or you will be lost and you dont want that so go read Reaper.

rcvd an ARC at no cost to author..voluntarily reviewed with my own thoughts and opinions.

Where to begin.. This story speaks of real situations and struggles. Depression is a real thing, and the way the author depicts it makes you feel what the character is feeling. My heart hurt for Boomer with all the emotions he was dealing with. It takes real talent to write about something so real that your readers feel it in their bones.
Boomer is a story of inner strength. He has a lot of inner demons that he needs to deal with, and does what he feels is necessary because of them. Scarlett ends

5 Big Boomer Stole My Heart Stars ⭐️.
This is a heart-wrenching, heartwarming and action-packed story about two tortured souls.

Boomer feels like he is drowning. Struggling internally, the voices inside Boomer’s head are eating away at his heart and soul (which aren’t as dead as he thinks).
Needing to rediscover himself and find his own happiness Boomer jumps on his bike and hits the open road. Landing in Atlantic City he uncovers a sister MC chapter dealing in human trafficking. Instantly stepping

BOOMER is the second instalment in KL Savage’s contemporary, adult RUTHLESS KINGS MC erotic, MC romance series focusing on the Ruthless Kings MC. This is twenty year old, Ruthless Kings MC member Jenkins aka ‘Boomer’, and Scarlett Rose ’s story line. BOOMER can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty but I recommend reading book one REAPER for back story and cohesion.

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be some triggers for more sensitive readers.

My life changed the day my dad was killed leaving me in bits and pieces I don't seem to belong anywhere. I'm an emotional whirlwind blowing here and there with no real path.
The only real blessing was finding out that I had a sister but I don't feel like this is my home anymore I've never forgiven the Reaper for my dad's death.
It's hard watching them together he's so much older then her but he knew he'd worship his crazy sister until the day they put him

Wow, ugly cry! This story is heartbreaking, but action packed as well.

Boomer grew up in the Ruthless Kings MC Las Vegas Chapter. His father was the president until his death due to a bad plan. Boomer stayed with the MC and was raised by Reaper, Boomer’s father’s best friend. Reaper is now the president of the club. Boomer is so happy to have found out that he has a sister and he loves her unconditionally, but Boomer is having a hard time finding himself and finding his place in the MC. He needs

I've been quite vocal about my love for this series all over my Instagram, and just when I think I can't love this series more than I already do, another book is released and I'm immediately wanting more! I never thought an MC romance would captivate me as much as this series has, but I am just so in love with it!!

This is Boomer's story, and even though I didn't altogether love him in Reaper's book, I couldn't help but adore him. He is a lost, broken man, who is angry at the world and is convin

Let me start with a TRIGGER WARNING. I must warn readers, this is not your safe little furry kitten type book. Oh no, there is sex, lots of language, a suicide attempt, kidnapping, sexual abuse, and mental illness, so if any of these things are a trigger you may not want to read this book.

Boomer is the 2nd book in K.L. Savage's Ruthless Kings MC series. I read the first book Reaper and loved it, so I needed to read the book. I am very happy to say I was not disappointed at all in fact I loved t

I was worried after ‘Reaper’ that I’d have to DNF this series all together but, I decided to read ‘Boomer’ and was glad I did.

Boomer follows Jenkins, the brother of Sarah from ‘Reaper’ who is 21yo and also lives with the Ruthless Kings Motorcycle Club. He’s always been around the club but never knew if he could devote his life to it, especially after his baby sister - who he had no idea existed - came into the picture a few years back. Now, she’s Reaper’s ol’lady and Boomer feels like he doesn’t
