At long last, Satou and company have arrived at Labyrinth City Celivera! Eager to uncover its mysteries, they waste no time before registering with the local explorers' guild and securing a base of operations. However, life outside the labyrinth itself is less than ideal. Children are starving in the streets, a noxious miasma plagues the populace, and the circulation of dangerous drugs stirs up chaos within the noble community. Will Satou be able to give succor to this troubled city?
Someone is trying to accuse Satou of misdeeds. I think it’s the Man in Green, but I can’t recall his name off the top of my head. It’s something like Polutena.
Prior to this, the person accusing Satou was some acting Viceroy named Sokell.
Satou and his harem succeed in leveling up, but the story arc of the Labyrinth City is not complete yet. We will see what happens in the next volume.
Was fun to read about adventures in a dungeon. This series is much better to read if you skip through all the fluff of female characters pining over the main character.
This story has me so hooked that I just can't put it down. I always feel sorry for the nobles that pick on Satou, because you know it's not going to work out for them. I'm curious to see where the author goes with this arc, and am seeing what comes of the green noble... Indeed.
Yet another in this series of fantasy greats. This light novel is just another example that proves you don't have to have massive battles to produce a good plot
A good story that just keeps getting better. The thing I love about this series is how the MC just wants to travel and sight see despite being so ridiculously over powered. It's also full of laughs and other great characters not just the MC
Having completed both the web novel and now light novel versions of Volume 10 this review is primarily for the Light Novel version. This is the first volume in awhile to actually follow the web novel for the most part, however it's only about half of the same story arc as the web novel. They have added in an average over all plot the same kind we seem to be seeing repeatedly with this authors work to give a stopping point to end the volume. It has a little more combat which is nice but it's still less than the web novel version. The plot point isn't anything really new or surprising as we've seen it multiple times in the light novel version of this series. "Corrupt noble doesn't like main character, Corrupt noble tries to frame main character, main character is over powered so he is already prepared, turns the tables and wraps everything up with a nice bow." To clarify while this is the over all plot to wrap up this volume it isn't the main high light which is the party finally reaching labyrinth city and doing some dungeon crawling (again not as much as the web novel). There is a decent amount of slice of life as always. Over all if you've enjoyed the previous volumes in the story you will probably enjoy this one, just don't try to jump back and forth between web and light novels.
I picked up amd read most of this series in a row and had gotten a little burned out due to all the elves advanced tech. But I greatly enjoyed this book amd has renewed me hope and joy in reading this series. I do hope the MC finds another love interest though as the elf while beautiful and nice, I just dont see it working out anytime in the near future, but that's just me.
I truly love this series, the casual OP of the MC, dealing with what would be major quest lines, so he can go back to just trying to live his best life, sightseeing, and enjoying tasty food. The perfect way to be all powerful.
It seems like forever it took to get to this point from the very first book where it mentions the labyrinth city. We were all anticipating the final arrival in this book and it not disappoint and I’m glad it’s only part one of a two-part of a stay in labor the city.
