From New York Times and USA Today bestselling authors Rebecca Zanetti, Kristen Ashley, Larissa Ione, and Laura Kaye.
Four Dark Tales. Four Sensual Stories. Four Page Turners.
BLAZE ERUPTING: Scorpius Syndrome/A Brigade Novella by Rebecca Zanetti Hugh Johnson is nobody’s hero, and the idea of being in the limelight makes him want to growl. He takes care of his brothers, does his job, and enjoys a mellow evening hanging with his hound dog and watching the sports channel. So when sweet and sexy Ellie Smithers from his college chemistry class asks him to save millions of people from a nuclear meltdown, he doggedly steps forward while telling himself that the world hasn’t changed and he can go back to his relaxing life. One look at Ellie and excitement doesn’t seem so bad.
ROUGH RIDE: A Chaos Novella by Kristen Ashley Rosalie Holloway put it all on the line for the Chaos Motorcycle Club. Informing to Chaos on their rival club—her man’s club, Bounty—Rosalie knows the stakes. And she pays them when her man, who she was hoping to scare straight, finds out she’s betrayed him and he delivers her to his brothers to mete out their form of justice. But really, Rosie has long been denying that, as she drifted away from her Bounty, she’s been falling in love with Everett “Snapper” Kavanagh, a Chaos brother. Snap is the biker-boy-next door with the snowy blue eyes, quiet confidence and sweet disposition who was supposed to keep her safe…and fell down on that job.
HAWKYN: A Demonica Novella by Larissa Ione As a special class of earthbound guardian angel called Memitim, Hawkyn is charged with protecting those whose lives are woven into the fabric of the future. His success is legendary, so when he’s given a serial killer to watch over, he sees no reason for that to change. But Hawkyn’s own future is jeopardized after he breaks the rules and rescues a beautiful woman from the killer’s clutches, setting off an explosive, demonic game of cat and mouse that pits brother against brother and that won’t end until someone dies.
RIDE DIRTY: A Raven Riders Novella by Laura Kaye Caine McKannon is all about rules. As the Raven Riders’ Sergeant-at-Arms, he prizes loyalty to his brothers and protection of his club. As a man, he takes pleasure wherever he can get it but allows no one close—because distance is the only way to ensure people can’t hurt you. And he’s had enough pain for a lifetime. Kids and school are kindergarten teacher Emma Kerry’s whole life, so she’s stunned to realize she has an enemy—and even more surprised to find a protector in the intimidating man who saved her. Tall, dark, and tattooed, Caine is unlike any man Emma’s ever known, and she’s as uncertain of him as she is attracted.
Every Dark Nights tale is breathtakingly sexy and magically romantic.
New York Times, USA Today, Publisher’s Weekly and Wall Street Journal bestselling author Rebecca Zanetti has published more than seventy novels and novellas, which have been translated into several languages, with millions of copies sold world-wide. Her books have received Publisher’s Weekly and Kirkus starred reviews, favorable Washington Post and New York Times Book Reviews, and been included in Amazon best books of the year.
Rebecca has ridden in a locked Chevy trunk, has asked the unfortunate delivery guy to release her from a set of handcuffs, and has discovered the best silver mine shafts in which to bury a body…all in the name of research. Honest.
Exciting, sizzling, suspenseful: fantastic! Emma Kerry’s life had been pretty uneventful until that Saturday evening, when she was attacked. Caine McKannon of the Raver Riders was patrolling the neighbourhood when he hears Emma’s cries for help. Caine couldn’t grab her attacker, but got Emma safely home; it’s what he does with the Club, making sure to protect the defenceless. At first, Emma is not too sure why she should trust a man who looks so dangerous, but his reputation precedes him, and soon she, a nice kindergarten teacher, finds herself intrigued by the sullen biker, who goes out of his way to ensure she’s not in any kind of danger.
What will Laura Kaye do for an encore: RIDE DIRTY is phenomenal! It’s a longish novella, it can easily stand alone, and even though it could easily have been longer, nothing is missing. We get to know Emma and Caine, and his backstory is heartbreaking, and utterly fascinating; he’s an extremely complex man, so bruised and broken; so scared and seemingly cold-hearted, and yet, and yet … Like Emma, to know him is to love him; I’m not a fan of bad boys per se, but Caine captured my heart, so much so that I teared up. RIDE DIRTY is written so passionately; it’s gritty and dark, yet Emma brings sunshine, lightness, and joy – to the story and to Caine’s lonely life.
Again, Laura Kaye is in fine stylistic form as her prose – clear as crystal, poetic and lyrical at times, tough and raw at others; every little nuance perfectly suited to the moment and the character. I loved Emma: she’s a nice, cool person; and Caine; oh my, what an amount of baggage he had carried for so many years. They are poles apart, both are uncomfortable with the attraction they can’t deny, and even though the romance happens in a short period of time, it was entirely convincing because of the circumstances, and also because of they communicated honestly; they connected on a deeper level because they hid nothing. Most of the story takes place in December, around the Holidays, and it is one of the best Christmas stories I have ever read because it really does capture the Holiday spirit without any of the habitual clichés. And talk about that motorcycle ride; I could hardly stand the excitement!
RIDE DIRTY has everything: a fabulous romance, honest tear-inducing moments, super sizzling sex, a great suspense, and astoundingly complex and captivating characters. In my opinion, the Raven Riders series has gotten better with every book, and RIDE DIRTY is the icing on the cake; absolutely fantastic!
Hawkyn: 4 stars Here we get to follow another Memitim, Hawkyn and a Wytch(male witch crossed with an extinct breed of succubus) Aurora. Aurora is kidnapped by a serial killer, who is one of Hawk's primori, but he accidentally interferes with her abduction and he doesn't know how to fix it or if it needs to be fixed. Lots of running about follows and things get naughty, it was good fun.
Great combination of four short stories about strong men and even stronger women. Some of these authors I had not read before as I was looking for the story Rough Ride by Kristen Ashley, but I enjoyed all of them.
1001 Dark Nights Bundle Twenty contains novellas from top authors like Kristen Ashley, Rebecca Zanetti, Larissa Ione, Laura Kaye. I read and loved Rough Ride by Kristen Ashley is a Chaos Novella and part of the 1001 Dark Nights Series. This novella fits right in the 100 Drak Nights Series. " Once upon a time... " was a woman who had to find her place in the world. And a man who knew exactly what he wants and waits patiently to get it.
Meet Rosalie Holloway. She´s a 28 year old waitress and informed the Chaos MC over months about the wereabouts, the ins and outs of a rival club, Bounty. Her boyfriend is a memeber of aforementioned club and when her betrayal is discovered the reaction is not a friendly one. Everett - Snapper - Kavanagh is her contact to Chaos Club and he promised her protection. Snap is a good guy. He´s centered and somehow his own island, he´s grounded. Rosalie still has to found her middle. And the latest events weren´t helpful. While Rosalie is hesistant to accept help and trust ever again, the men and women of Chaos Club goes out on a limp to help her. They´re like family and that you can feel in the words. Rough Ride is a typical Kristen Ashley book, the men are not alpha, they´re Alpha men, the heroines are strong and determined to get what they want too. And this mix, together with exceptional writing and a outstanding story makes these books so unique. I recommend the book and give 5 stars.
Blaze Erupting by Rebecca Zanetti is part of the 1001 Dark Night, a Scorpius Syndrome and A Brigade novella. Meet Hugh Johnson, he´s a bit cranky, kind of a loner. He cares for his job, his brothers and loves watching sports with his hound dog and not much else. When Elluie Smithers from his former college class seeks him out and asks him to help her save millions of people he´s reluctant. Eleanor Smithers knows that the Scorpius bacteria is about to change humanity´s life. She´s a computer genius for The Brigade, the first line of defense against threats and terrorists.
"Once upon a time" was a great collection of fantastic reads called 1001 Dark Nights and now Blaze Erupting is part of the collection. Blaze Erupting is a fascinating read that caprured me from the beginning. Sparks fly between the hero and the heroine and the characters are great. I laughed, I cried and I had a good time reading this 4 star read.
Ride Dirty by Laura Kaye is part of the 1001 Dark Nights and a Raven Riders Series novella 3,5. Once upon a time in the future there was Caine McKannon, Seargent at Arms of the Raven Rider´s MC. He´s a loner and all about rules. He´s loyal to hios brothers and the MC. When he resues a woman from a attack he can´t get her out of his head. Emma Kerry is a kindergarten teacher, a kind soul. Work is her life, she has no family and she´s stunned she has a enemy and more to find a protector in a tattooed alpha biker. Emma is a ray of sunshine in Caine´s dark life. He has scars, visible and invisible and suffered unspeakable horrors. It´s heartwrenching to read his story and it´s heart warming to about Caine and Emma´s beautiful HEA. The previous books in the series are Ride Hard; Ride Rough; Ride Wild and Ride Dirty.
Hawkyn by Larissa Ione: As a special class of earthbound guardian angel called Memitim, Hawkyn is charged with protecting those whose lives are woven into the fabric of the future.
Aurora Mercer is the half-wytch lone survivor of a psychopath who gets off on the sadistic torture of his victims. A psychopath whose obsessive psyche won’t let him move on until he kills her. Now she’s marked for death, her fate tied to that of a murderer…and to a sexy angel who makes her blood burn with desire… All in all this is the bundle for me, favorite stories, favorite authory, what's not to like. 5 Stars.

REVIEW What a fantastic suspense-filled bundle of stories !!
Blaze Erupting: Scorpius Syndrome/A Brigade Novella by Rebecca Zanetti A new to me author... An amazing, twisted, and dark story this was. I loved the banter between Hugh and Ellie. The action was out of this world, and the thriller was the virus.
Rough Ride: A Chaos Novella by Kristen Ashley New to me author and this won't be the last I read. I absolutely love MC novels and this book had it all. The heart, soul, and angst. Basically it rips you apart while you read it then puts you back together all nice and warm.
Hawkyn: A Demonica Novella by Larissa Ione A new to me author but won't be the last I read of this author. Absolutely love any type of angels, fallen, good, bad and throw in others and that is the perfect story.
Ride Dirty: A Raven Riders Novella by Laura Kaye Caine is the man who never let too many close. He carries a lot of past baggage on his shoulders and in his heart. Emma is a kindergarten teacher who for all appearances is a prim and proper female. Very easy going everyone likes her so why is someone all of a sudden trying to destroy her life as she knows it? Caine was out on a mission and that mission leads him into another that he can't seem to walk away from. Even though he knows he should. When they say opposites attract they surely do for these two. Grab your copy and read it. It's hot, steamy, and suspenseful.
I was gifted a copy of this book by the publisher and I am so happy to say I have found some new to me authors. Fantastic stories indeed, very well written.
Blaze Erupting: Scorpius Syndrome/A Brigade Novella By Rebecca Zanetti.
Hugh Johnson and Eleanor Smithers have been tasked to stop a terrorist plot, but will Hugh's history stop them working together.
I am not a sci-fi lover, but once I got my head around the back ground it was quite enjoyable. Not my most favourite book in the bundle but a great start.
Rough Ride: A Chaos Novella By Kristen Ashley
I love love love Kristen Ashley. She is my most favourite author in the whole wide world. So although I have already read this book it was absolutely no hardship to read it again.
The story of Rosalie and Snapper, which is hard in places but is still delightful. Rosalie hasn't had much luck in men, and the last one almost cost her her life. Snapper has been waiting for the moment to catch Rosalie, but he didn't think it would be like that. Can Rosalie get over her distrust of Men and Men in MC's.
Hawkyn: A Demonica Novella By Larissa Ione
Now full disclosure, I don't really read paranormal romances. But OMG what a fab story. The glossary at the front is essential to newbies, but it doesn't take long for you to understand all things heavenly and hellish. An absolute treasure of a story, I think I will be going to read some more of Larissa's stories.
Ride Dirty: A Raven Riders Novella By Laura Kaye
Another favourite author of mine, and another fantastic book. Caine is part of the Raven Riders MC, a loner who finds it hard to connect to people. Until he saves Emma from a mugger, then he finds the need to protect her. But who will protect whom in the end?
This is a great bundle with good stories about wonderful couples. This bundle features novellas written by Rebecca Zanetti, Kristen Ashley, Larissa Ione, and Laura Kaye. A lot of action, supernatural characters and two MC's with sexy scenes, these stories are all about good reading and entertaining. Each author has a different style and they complement each other, the editor has done a very good job in putting all these stories together because they set a good rhythm for the reader and keeps it interesting.
I just loved this bundle and recommend these authors and stories.
I loved each of these stories, they each had such great characters and story lines. I am a fan of all the authors. I love having these little secondary stories with the characters that impact the stories they are connected to.
These very talented authors have put together a great collection of novellas that whet your whistle with romance, suspense, action, and super steamy times that leave you wanting more.
