This is a stand alone book based in the same setting as the Havoc series by the author. This is said to be a "cozy apocalypse" book and has no cuss words and although there is violence, it is not described in detail.

The main character Laurie, is visiting her home town on break from college when terrorist attacks start happening all over the country. Her parents are out of the country and her boyfriend's family is out of state as well, so they only have each other to depend on. She thinks that
