The pulse-pounding original prequel series based on the stealth horror video game Hello Neighbor continues! As construction begins on the Golden Apple Amusement Park, Aaron Peterson is becoming increasingly worried about his father. Working late nights in his study, Aaron's dad seems to be fraying at the edges--pushing, and sometimes breaking, the laws of engineering with his new schematics. And with the added pressure he's under to complete the park by this summer, Aaron can't help but feel his father's inventions are doomed to end in tragedy once again.
But his fears over his father's work is complicated by a dark discovery: a network of tunnels running underneath the town of Raven Brooks. Where do they lead? And what dark secrets about his family's past will he uncover there?
Don't miss this newest installment in the Hello Neighbor series, which features blueprints and secret documents throughout, to help readers unwind the mysteries at the heart of the games.

This book is part of the Hello Neighbor series. It is based on a video game of the same name. I have no familiarity with either.
The book is one of the mystery stories where the kids are going to figure everything out and solve the problems the grown ups can't. (A bit like Scooby Do with younger kids and no dog.) They go on all sorts of adventures while the clueless grown ups don't even know they are gone.
In this episode, the family has moved to the US after a horrible accident in Germany on one of the rollercoasters the dad built. What they walk into is a crazy little town where their grandparents lived, worked, and sleuthed.
Dad works on a new coaster for a new amusement park bound to make the little sleepy town a destination. Aaron and his sister make some new friends and try to figure out what is with these underground tunnels. Who uses them, why, and what it has to do with their grandparents.
Good story given the circumstances above. The writer gives the right amount of urgency and pace to keep you turning the pages. Minus one star for only leading to the next book, not wrapping up things in one.
This entry in the Hello Neighbor series seemed much more fantastical than the prior ones and I feel like it messes with the continuity of the later-occuring triology.
I loved this book because of all the mysterious things in it. This book had my attention so much that I wanted to keep reading and reading. I stayed up late at night reading this book✨
Hello Neighbor #5: Grace mistake is not a mistake to read. This book is a book that will keep you hooked in. Read to find out how a brother and a sister try to uncover some secrets their dad, Mr, Peterson, has been hiding. Like possibly the coverup of Mr. Peterson’s best friend’s murder, or the murdering itself.
