Colors, animals places. Beautifully illustrated in full color with a space in the front of the book to write a personal message. It’s a wonderful keepsake book that would make a perfect gift for a baby shower.

This book arrived yesterday. It looks nice and the cover is lovely. It is somewhat small in comparison to other hardback books, but I guess for the price it's good enough. I was surprised by how little text there is in this book though. About 130 words, or 12 sentences.

I was expecting a lot more from this book. The illustrations are ok, nothing dreamy or spectacular, just ok. In terms of an emotional message, it didn't deliver what I was expecting either.

It's an ok book, but not memorable and not exceptional or original, hence 3 stars. There are better ones out there to celebrate the arrival of a new baby.

I see a lot of picture books as I'm a librarian and the one I can definitely recommend is one called My Baby You Will Always Be by Anna Maledon. It's another book that arrived yesterday, not for the library, but because I need a book for a baby shower for my new granddaughter. It's a new book, that just came out but I have a feeling it's going to become a classic. It has all of the ingredients of a classic and in my 40 years as a children's librarian, I've seen it all.
