This was AMAZING!
Alli is a typical teen at college, mum and dad who don’t care what she wants to do with her own life and a sister who can do no wrong. When her and a load of other girls are kidnapped and taken to another planet, vortex or something or other and pretty much about to be forced into some magic marriage when there all then kidnapped again by dragon Aramon who is the warlord of his country and is her MATE!
He is trying his damed hardest to show her he won't hurt her and he also saves her from lightning dragons!
Ohh my gosh!!!
Get me the next book please!!
Alli hasn’t a clue what’s going on and is confused to high heavens, I love, love, love her, she can’t even speak his language and they can’t even understand each other but I got a good feeling about this and I can’t wait to see what happens next
Girlsss get your read on! I’m in love and need the next installment ASAP

It began as any other book for me does- me excited but weary of a new plot. It wasn't far into the story that my weariness gave way to total excitement and I was hooked right in!
The story begins with a very relatable family dinner and gives way to very un-relatable but exhilirating events. Allie, our lead lady, is more or less fed up with her over the top expectant parents and her life as a broke college student. She needs money and stat! This hardship gives way to other hardships when she decides to enter a study.
THE REAL TALE NOW BEGINS...
I absolutely adored Aramon. He is so effing swoon-worthy. A warlord and a sweetheart, can there be a better mix ? Allie, with her genuine and real heart, is exactly right for my new lover... I ship (although Fate has already done that... also pun alert. He He!)
The plot in itself and the way it carries on justify the pages that it was written on. It is new and it is thrilling. I kept turning them until I reached the end...
AND WHAT END !!! I CAN NOT..and I can't stress this enough.. I CAN NOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT RELEASE because that ending did me in and I literally went NOOOOOO... My poor heart.
Only complain I have is that one or two times, here and there, I felt the writing could have been a bit smoother but it is definitely something you can easily ignore. It is quite subtle and dare I say subjective of the writing you are used to reading.
And here is where I leave you with my thoughts. Take the journey on-wards if you love paranormal and fantasy romance. Yes, the story is quite short but it packs in a good punch. Also, there is more where it comes from. :)
All the very best to the authors and I will see you fellow readers on the other side.
Love. Love.
Cheers !

Every shred of my existence wants to take her into my arms, fly her to my home, lay her down upon my bed and discover every facet of what she enjoys until she’s so wet for me I can claim her with ease. Until she begs me for it, for that connection that will bind us for eternity and beyond.

Sky Lord's Mate
Synopsis of Book: My whole life, I’ve never been anything special. I’ve struggled for every penny, every grade, and every opportunity. When there’s a chance to make some extra cash, I’m all in--right into another realm, and a war between angels and demons. Now a hotter than hellfire demon warlord is saying I’m his mate. He offers me a bite of the sweetest forbidden fruit, everything I’ve always wanted. But this place isn’t my home, and as I’m caught between two worlds, I can’t tell if I’m careening towards sin or salvation.
Initial thoughts on book: When I first started the book I was deeply annoyed with Cassie and her parents lack of respect and compassion towards Allie. I thought it was indecent of them to made her feel so worthless. They didn't support her dreams. Or even care to look deeper into what she was saying versus how she was actually feeling. I didn't really accept the whole 5 min examination being the Segway into another world. Which truly wasn't explained in a way to make it believeable. The jump we needed to make in order for it to be believeable isn't realistic.
Questions:
What was the significance of the light when the girls touched the object in the beginning of the story?
Where were they when they were 'rescued' by the Daevosi?
How did they end up in another realm?
Why were the 'angels' bad?
Setting: the initial setting of the book is on Earth. We meet Allie at a restaurant. Then we follow her to her dorm. Which was a typical dormroom at a college. That's what I pictured anyway. The room that she was initiated in seemed like a normal meeting room.
The room were they were sterlized was hard to picture for me. They were in tubes with water? Not real sure.
We're we first met Aramon was hard to picture as well. At one point he sat on a throne... But they were in the sky and then it was a ship. That scene got a bit bogged down with the description of things.
Lastly is Daevos. Which from the reaction Allie gives is beautiful unexpected. Her viewpoint of the city is breathtaking. She seems to feel a sense of home and belonging as she looks upon the land.
Main Characters Development:
Allie- (protagonist) We Begin the book with a down on her look Allie. She narrates the story in a way that allows you to see the world throuther eyes. You feel her loneliness and heartache. In a sea of people she still feels isolated. That is evident in the restaurant. She also feels like an oddity compared to the other members of her family. Which to me were kind of crappy people. She was an afterthought to them. I didn't like them as people. For them to show cassie so much move and totally disregard Allie was rude and unjust. The idea of her dad not helping her through college, and passive aggressively suggesting she pay some of the bill pissed me off. Despite all these trials she faces in life Allie is strong and determined. She pushes herself to be exceptional even if she feels like it's not reachable. She's a hard worker and doesn't rely on others to get through life. She's very relatable, and I found her to be an endearing protagonist.
Aramon: Warlord of the Daevosi clan (Protagonist) I liked Aramon right away. He is the personification of a demon. Yet his character exudes otherwise. He is strong and powerful. He has the ability to be ruthless and evil, but he doesn't navigate through that path. He operates in honor. He is just in his punishing and leadership. Though he is young he isn't brash or abrasive. He has a temper when provoked, but he thinks before acting on it. He is kind and thoughtful. Loyal to his people in a way that you wouldn't expect from a creature like him.
Plotline/Concept: The book is about a race of people the Daevosi who are seemingly facing extinction from the lack of mates available. In the beginning of the book it spoke of a curse. Although I don't feel it was in the magically sense. More so they feel like they have bad luck. They have been at peace with an opposite race for centuries due to a truce. These beings attack the Daevosi and to reciprocate the attack Aramon steals their mates. One of the humans is his mate. He must convince his new mate and his people that this is the change in the tide they were hoping for. She will be the answer to their prayers.
Genre: fantasy, YA Fiction, paranormal
Final Thoughts: I don't even know how to put into words my thoughts. OMFG! I am literally overwhelmed with how great this book ending. I mean really? It was awesome. I wonder why Aramon got called away while they were in the market? I loved the Imagery and description we got of the market. Easy to visualize and see what was going on from both perspectives. I felt that everything that took place was reasonable and realistic. I don't know why Callie didn't presume she would run into danger by leaving. You are unfamiliar with this world. You don't know how to get home or even if you can on your own. I mean especially since she wasn't being harmed by Aramon and his people. I applaud her bravery... The fact that she left without the other girls seemed a bit selfish. Especially she requested for them to review a change of clothes. Then the fight between Aramon and the Wyns was excellent. Well written and visually amazing. I was able to see what these creates look like. I could feel, see, and hear the storm/lightening. I could feel Aramon desperate desire to save Callie. I could feel Callie's fear and despair. It was just a rush of emotions and the pacing caused you to be so wrapped up. I was genuinely invested in what took place. I wanted to fight for them. Then finally they meet each other in the middle. Callie accepts her feelings.... Only to have a cliffhanger ending. I CANNOT wait to read the next book. I hope it is as engaging and we'll written as this one.

1 Star.
Too short with really a bunch of nothing happening. Sure we learn who is who and the world building wasn't terrible but it took to the end for anything to happen between the main MCs and then it ends with a cliffy. I knew it was a series BUT not about one couple. So peace out, I'm done. This was pretty boring IMO...BUT it wasn't bad. I can see it being interesting to others who stick it in for the whole series but this format and the characters just didn't interest me at all.

Great first installment in this series.

OMG! This is an awesome beginning to a new series. I was intrigued with the first chapter and by the end of the second I was sold. Allie is a young college student trying to find her way in the world. She isn’t sure what she wants to do with her life while her sister has everything planned out for her future. Since she is struggling to pay for college Allie responds to a flyer looking for volunteers to participate in a study that pays $50 for participating. Once she is there she is sucked into another world along with some other girls. In this new world they are stolen away by Aramon the Warlord of a rival group of the ones that had taken her from Earth. She learns that she is his fated mate. She is overwhelmed and only wants to return home but can’t deny the pull she feels for him. It ends with a cliffhanger and I wanted to scream “more.” I can’t wait for the next installment.

This story starts off with Allie, a college student with no idea what she wants to do with her life. She feels like the black sheep of her family and has never felt like she truly belongs anywhere. With no real friends at college and struggling for money, she decides to participate in a research study for quick cash and finds herself immersed in a totally new world where demons and angels exist. This new world is where she meets her fated mate Aramon who is a demon Warlord.
I really enjoyed this story because the demon/angel world wasn't typical. The demons looked like real demons versus the usual super hot, completely human look that you find in most books. Allie was a pretty good FMC, strong but still acted like a young college-aged girl. Although she acted young at times, you can tell that she has the potential to grow into her character to become a strong and fierce FMC. The plot immediately caught my attention and I always love a fated mate story. For those of you that hate "immediate love", this isn't that immediate so I think you would still enjoy this series. Yes, Aramon falls quickly in love with Allie but Allie does not. She feels a pull but doesn't really act on it and she doesn't fall at his feet, madly in love.
The only reason I did not give this book 5 stars is because I wish it was longer. I felt like a lot more could have gone into the first book and it left me feeling starved for more. Although in all fairness, I know the author will be releasing the books in rapid fire so maybe she wanted to keep them short.
All in all I really enjoyed this book and I can't wait for the next in the series!

OMG! I absolutely loved this book. It’s just the beginning of a powerful love story that leaves you eager to know more about the main characters and their story.
The slow burn is beautifully written and I’ve already grown fond of Allie and Aramon.
Firstly we met Allie and is perfectly well described so we have a pretty clear idea how she is, I mean not physically, but how she faces the life she’s living. Her attitude towards college, family, friends or boyfriends, tell us a lot about the kind of person she is and how she’s feeling. She feels like she doesn’t fit and that there should be something else for her.
And then we have a vision of another world, totally different people, totally different problems and background. A leader, a charismatic warrior…and more.
One of the things I love most in romantic stories is that we could have both main characters POV. And in this story every chapter is complementing the next one so we can have a vision of how our dearly characters understand same facts in his own and different way. Always feeling a powerful connection between them.
This story is very well written and I literally can’t wait for the next book of the series!
Totally recommend it if you like paranormal romance with great characters and an interesting plot.

Hi Everyone,
I received this book to make an honest review. First off- why leave me with such a cliffhanger. Like I can’t deal with this loss.
This book was such an awesome read. Allie and Aramon are from different worlds. Allie is more a less a loner and isn’t what her family wants her to be. I hate that she feels she has to go to college. I think she will find her way with Aramon.
Aramon is a warlord and it sounds like he is a prince or maybe king. He sounds absolutely gorgeous...so slight crush on him. He is so sweet toward Allie and I think that kiss they shared- hot mama. I think they will be interesting together.
Okay so the end- holy shit- please tell me something happens. Screw you Anjari!! He should have attacked them.
I can not wait for book 2.
Side note- I wonder how they will understand each other?! I am hoping when they do mate this helps.
Side note 2- I am sad this has ended and I c.a.n.t w.a.i.t for the next book

Wow, this is short but punchy, and a great start to what promises to be a fantastic series.
Allie is a bit of a lost soul that doesn't seem to fit in with anyone around her. She's lonely and unfulfilled with life, but carries on with what everyone expects of her anyway and rarely complains. That is until she signs up for a random study.
Aramon is a teddy bear in warriors clothing. War is coming, he must lead his people and be the best warlord. Finding his mate is totally out of the blue crazy, but he's more than happy to whisk her away.
Neither of them understand each others language, but the heart and soul sings to bring them together.
Overall, this was nonstop action and swoon...just my cup of tea! I'm certainly looking forward to the next installment.

*I received this arc from the author in exchange for an honest review. This in no way affects my opinion*
Okay, so just finished and I was pleasantly surprised. This story about Allie and Aramon is really good. He's a hot alpha male that is just trying to do good for his people and Allie is an innocent girl feeling lost and without purpose in her world. And then they meet and cue the fireworks. But that's all I'm gonna say, you have to read to get all the good details. Trust me, you'll be right there with me anxiously waiting for book 2.
It's well written and has a good story, which is very important to me when reading. It's also not too long, but still gets in all the needed info, which is nice.

Just wow!
Once you open this book, get ready for the long haul! You have Allie, a college student who has no idea what she wants and where she fits in, and Aramon, the demon warlord who will do whatever it takes to keep her! Once you start this series you won't be able to put it down!

*Thank-you to the author for a copy in exchange for an honest review!
Lord knows I love a good "fated-love-in-mysterious-world" tale, so I jumped right on this one. Firstly, Aramon is completely swoon worthy and Allie is a good mix of cautious and intrigued. I really enjoyed their interactions and the way their relationship was developing. Book one definitely ends with a serious cliff hanger, but its a quick, sweet read.

This was an interesting start and now I must read the next book! I absolutely loved Aramon! He’s not to be messed with but soooo sweet to his mate! I also loved Allie. She handled being kidnapped and the attention of a “demon” pretty good. This is definitely a must read for paranormal romance lovers! Also beware of the cliffhanger! I can’t wait to read the next book!!

This book was really good. Allie has never felt like she fits in, until she travels to new realm. Can't wait to read the next book.

I really enjoyed this book, and it left me wanting book 2 immediately. I loved the different point of views, and the personalities of the characters. There's so much to keep the reader intrigued and reading. It just ended too soon.

I love sci-fi romances and this one is off to a great start. I just was not expecting it to end so abruptly and just when our hero and his mate had their first sweet kiss. Please don't leave me waiting too long for the next installment.

I think this is going to be a good series, having demons and angels in another realm, being the opposite of how they are perceived here on earth. Beware, it is a novella-length story that ends very much on a cliff-hanger which is extremely frustrating with how short it is; so if you are able definitely "kindle unlimited" it.

Neat start to a new series. Angels and demons - strange beautiful new world. Lovely writing style from these two authors. I enjoyed this story and can't wait to find out what happens next to our fearless heroine and her "demon" mate!!

I seriously loved this novella. I especially liked Aramon, the sensitive Alpha demon the MC is paired up with. Can't wait to read the next one.
