I am simply hooked on Tara Lain’s Genetic Series, which have become my most favorite ménage books ever. Her characters are lovable, funny, warm, adorable and unforgettable, so much so that often I find them popping into my head when I read other books in this genre.

Another thing I love is meeting up again with characters from previous books and see how their lives are progressing and then there’s the whole warm interaction between them all. It’s just fabulous.

Genetic Celebrity is the 4th book in

**** This is an amazing story, with a "fairytale" feel to it! **** It's about a homeless, ex-foster kid, Shay Shaleen, 20, who has no one.

No one who cares if he lives or dies. Then, after stealing food, he's thrown into the street, crashing into Roan, our beautiful supermodel from this terrific series. Roan immediately takes action, bringing Shay to
Tommy ("Tick Tock"), who is Roan's business partner.

Tommy is stunned by this younger guy's features. He's gorgeous and has immense potential. Tomm

Genetic Celebrity is another hit in Tara Lain's Genetic Attraction series. This book was so sweet. Tommy is Roan's business partner and Booky is Roan's agent. If you don't know who Roan is you must read "The Scientist and the Supermodel" and "Genetic Attraction". Tommy is bi and has fallen for Booky. Booky things Tommy is gay so she doesn't ever do anything about her attraction to him. Then Roan discovers Shay when he literally falls to his feet. Tommy is instantly attracted to Shay. Genetic Celebrity is book four in Tara Lain's amazing series, Genetic Attraction. I was afraid that Tara would not be able to match the chemistry that we have seen in the first three books. As usual, I was wrong.
This story is about Booky, Tommy & Shay. Booky & Tommy have been involved in Roan Black's supermodel world for years. Lucky for them, when Roan is considering retiring, he stumbles, literally, into Shay. Shay is homeless and has never had a family.

When I first picked up Genetic Celebrity, I was immediately taken back to the first book with the beloved characters Roan and Tommy. I was so happy when I heard that Tommy was getting his own book, as well as a hopeful happy ending.

As usual Tara gave me the uncertainty and angst that I crave in books as well as the 'head slapping' moments when you just want to say "What were you thinking????" There were characters that I loved to hate and one's that if the opportunity presents itself, I would l
So, so good. I just ached for Shay. I loved that he and Booky and Tommy got their HEA. I felt like it happened like it was just supposed to. That made the book better for me. It was hard for them simply because of their issues, but once they got together, it just clicked.

I'm sad to see this series end, but it's definitely made me a fan of Tara Lain. She's pretty much an auto-buy for me now.

Tara Lain's books are all fantastic! The characters are well developed and I get happily lost in their world. Genetic Celebrity is just as wonderful and even more so because we get to see Roan often. The fashion world is my guilty pleasure so this book is a favorite. Tara is one of those authors that I get just as much joy re reading. I can't wait for more! ...more

Ao I just finished this book after buying it in iTunes today…an it was very very good. It was nice to get to know the new characters an hear about the old ones. Loved every minute of this book!!!!!!!!!!!
3.5 Stars!

I did like this book, but it did seem a lot like the second book of the series. I did like how we got to see more of the triad from the second book though. Roan is great and I enjoyed how he found new talent to relpace him.

Only after our basic physical needs are met can we crave intimacy. After we feel safe we are able to develop our self-esteem. When our self-esteem is positively formed, we can look toward the future and be the best that we can be. Shay Shaleen in 'Genetic Celebrity' by Tara Lain has never consistently had even the most basic of needs, i.e., food or a safe place to sleep. In fact, Shay has never had the love and security that we all need. He's a beautiful soul lost in a seemingly endless struggle ...more

Tara Lain does it again! We 19ve met Tommy and Angie before, but only briefly, and they 19re mentioned here and there, but now we finally get to really know them. They 19re really quite cute together, and add Shay in the mix, and they 19re all flat out adorable.

What I love about this series is how the unconventional just seems to right. Plus, in every installment, we still get to see the original characters we fell for as they 19ve progressed through their life and support those they love as th

I enjoyed pretty much this whole series, but this one definitely comes in a shade behind my favorite, the one I read first -- Genetic Attraction.

The best character in this one is Tommy, IMHO, an adorable, sexy, smart, talented businessman who happens to enjoy gourmet cooking as a hobby. The way to a woman's heart is through her tummy, at least that's close to what happens when Bookie, Roan's modeling agent, finally admits her attraction to the younger man. It may be that it was through her moth

This is the story of Shay, the street kid that Roan stumbles across (literally) and turns into a top model in less than a week. Man, he is good! Unreality aside, I liked it quite a bit as is evidenced by the 4 stars. The other two in this ménage are Tommy, Roan's business manager, and Booky, his agent, both loveable former supporting characters it was great to get to know better.

Being me, I must quibble. Booky lusts after Tommy for YEARS, finds out that he's totally into her, and she's all, "yea

I really enjoyed this book and I'm happy Roan has found his out so he can spend the time he wants to with his family! I'm also really happy for Shay, he deserved the chance he got and the happiness he found! So did Tommy and Booky. The chemistry between them was hot, they really complimented each other and worked as a Menage. I just love this series! ...more

Three people whose lives intertwine. Soon emotions become strong and decisions must be made. Two friends longing for more and now another enters the picture wanted by both. Who will be together in the end? Must they truly only pick one or can they find a happy ever after with all three?

I enjoyed meeting Tommy, Angie and Shay. Each one stands out in their own way and it was nice to watch their relationships blossom into something more. Shay has gone through so much in his life and it was nice to

I really think this one is my favorite in the entire series! LOVE the cover, which has to be Roan! (Tommy is strawberry blonde, and Shay platinum) Tommy, Shay, and Booky are perfect for each other, each providing what the others need to balance them all out. Of course, true to form, there's a boatload of angst before they achieve their HEA! But having Roan's family unit as an example certainly helps to smooth the way. ...more

Genetic Celebrity is a sweet, fun and sexy romp. This story tells the tale of Roan Black’s staff Tommy "Tick Tock" Reilly and Angie "Booky" Edelson and a new character Shay Shaleen. This story made me smile. I really liked the interplay between these characters. This is a story filled with love and laughter. ...more

This was very sweet. Very much like the others where it's insta-love. Well, to be fair, Tommy and Booky have admired each other from afar but never thought there could be anything between them. Tommy apparently has confidence issues. He figured she wouldn't want him... she's older, successful, outgoing. On her end, she figured she was too old for him. Also, there was that pesky homosexuality. One visit that includes her family, though, and all of a sudden, he's very eligible. First, her mom reco ...more

Genetic Celebrity by Tara Lain was given to me in exchange for an honest review. Tommy aka Tick Tock is Roan’s business partner and friend, Angie aka Bookie, is Roan’s agent and Shay, a homeless man who had the looks and talent Roan was surprised to find when he was working on retiring from modeling. When Roan literally runs into Shay he knows he has the next big model in his hands and brings Shay to Tommy and Bookie to help him make him the star he knows Shay could be. Along the way Bookie and ...more

This one didn't really do it for me. I just felt that Shay was damaged and needs more emotional maturity. Booky and Tommy are pretty well matched. The sexin' was hot but Shay is so needy and even though he's been on his own, he's an innocent.

I don't know if this is the end of the series, but it did give Roan an out and wrapped everything up, nice and tidy.

My favorite of this series continues to be Genetic Attraction (Genetic Attraction, #2) by Tara Lain .

3.5 stars with Tommy, Shay and Book. Another M/F/M. I liked shay the best of all three characters. For some reason I did not connect with Angie (bookie) but I wanted to protect Shay throughout this book. I loved all the interaction of Roan's crew in this book. ...more
