What a fabulous Christmas story filled with such love and joy as two wounded people find their way to happiness, not an easy task with what Jack and Grace had been through, I thoroughly enjoyed this story that left me feeling very happy.

Jack Mancini is a billionaire CEO, self- made he is known for his one night stands, after a terrible childhood he is not overly keen on making friends as he is worried he will let them down and Christmas time brings back some very bad memories for him, an acciden

How I love a billionaire with commitment issues! Alyssa J Montgomery has given us a great read with this book it's so much more than just a Billionaire Christmas. I read this book in one sitting today while I was home, sick today, it helpt to keep my mind off my illness. It grabbed my attention and keep me interesting right to the very last word. The author has a great way to keep you interested, her speed and flow of this story was just right as it is full of great characters with many issues t ...more

Gotta be honest. I lost interest in this novel and found it difficult to get through. This is absolutely due to my own personal opinions and my own tastes, but I just didn't connect with either of the characters. It started getting very melodramatic at points, which I know a lot of people enjoy and love, but it just wasn't my cup of tea. I was really excited to have the ARC of this novel - a Christmas, festive romance set in London. Hello? that sounds amazing! But, it just missed the mark for me ...more

I'm giving this one 3 1/2 stars rounded up to 4.
I have to admit that I've read another book by this author that I couldn't really get on with if I'd realised that before I started, it may have stopped me reading The Magic of Christmas. Fortunately, I didn't know, as I would have missed out on a good read if I had passed this one by.
The book tells the story of Jack and Grace. Both have experienced terrible things in their childhood, but both have been able to move beyond that, at least to an ext

The Magic of Christmas, by Alyssa Montgomery was everything you could ask for in a romance novel.

Jack Mancini is a self made billionaire. He went from having nothing, to making a big name for himself. The one thing Jack can't handle is Christmas, anything Christmas related, Christmas Carols, Christmas trees or even Santa. He avoids Christmas at all cost, he always leaves London with his Dad.

Grace Robertson is a hard working woman who is trying to help put her brother though school. She took over

The Magic of Christmas is my first read by Alyssa Montgomery, and what a wonderful example of the festive season and the intense emotions it evokes in each and every human being.

Grace and Jack have each experienced the worst that life has to offer, but through their individual struggles they have managed to maintain a strength that can often be misinterpreted as distant and unapproachable. When this unlikely couple finally cross paths, the magic of Christmas and a beautiful grand piano, may be

This is a Netgalley ARC review. All opinions are solely my own.

Alyssa J. Montgomery crafts a charming romance centered around the Christmas season. Both main characters have trauma that is associated with the holidays. They must overcome their own demons in order to find happiness.

The description of the concert in Chapter 13 is one of the most real scenes I have ever read. This really resonated with me as a music lover. When I'm at a concert I am overtaken by the music and emotions. It is one o

This book is about two damaged people finding each other, and love. There is also a certain someone who might have had something to do with ‘the magic of Christmas’, but you can make your own mind up about that. Jack is a fabulous hero, and at times you want to knock some sense into him...but he gets there. Grace is lovely, inside and out, a wonderful heroine. Congratulations, Alyssa, what a beautiful book to read at Christmas.

This is the first book I've read by this author. I was quickly drawn in by the story and characters, although after about 2/3 of the way in, it started to feel a little overdone with ridiculously dramatic events and a bit unbelievable, but I persisted and overall it was an enjoyable read. I will definitely read more from this author.
I received a free digital copy of the book via NetGalley but the opinions expressed are my own.

Wow, both Jack and Grace have been through a lot. I love the way that Grace is patient with Jack but still gets him to open up with her about his past. She might have learning disabilities but she is smart where it counts. I like this book very much.
