Becoming A Hero
All Paul wanted to do was get home with his trusted donkey, Gilbert. Instead, he finds himself trapped in a forgotten kingdom where the villagers believe he is their long-awaited hero. Though he disagrees with them, his only chance at returning home is to destroy the magic that curses their kingdom. The stakes are raised when Gilbert is captured by the evil King who keeps the land enshrouded in chaos. With everything on the line, will he become yet another lost soul in the forgotten kingdom? Or can Paul rise to the challenge and become a hero?

An entertaining and enjoyable short story.
This is a fun fantasy story full of action and adventure for Paul Paulson and his donkey, Gilbert, who set out on a journey and find themselves landing in more danger than they ever anticipated. It’s a story that reminds the reader of the power of friendship and loyalty, and the importance of working together to solve problems and achieve what needs to be done.
The story moves at a good pace, full of twists and turns that engage the imagination and keep the reader guessing. There are a few macabre moments, effectively balanced by the optimism of the central characters and the humour and positive tone of the writing.

A fun short read.

Humorous fantasy and a world to get lost it in. Garmen pulls the reader in effortlessly, that depicts the authors talent.

The most enjoyable thing throughout the story was the character of Paul. However, the book slipped through my hands and before I knew it was finished. I wish there was more to it. I just didn't wanted it to be finished. Luckily, it's a series so that will definitely compensate for this.

The writing and the references are worth mentioning here. Overall, the author presents a very well written world, and a strong plot.

I would give this book 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for Paul and would definitely recommend whether or not fantasy is your thing

Fantastic Fantasy
What a wonderful, well-crafted world with loveable characters! This book was written in such a way that first time readers, seasoned readers, and fantasy trope enthusiasts will all love. I caught many of the references in this book, which I absolutely adored along with all the comedic moments. Poor Paul. He never asked for this, but I love that this is a break from the average story of a super strong he-man here to save the day.
