WOW! A compelling read hooked form page one.
High School Bully now at out of state college where he freshman QB with pro potential. Still acting all entitled and like Gods gift. Then the girl he bullied in HS. Her roommate/best friend was just ditched by him and hes moved on to her.
Talk about conflicts all around! Everyone at school wants the dirt, so many confusing emotions! The confusion and trying to figure stuff out.
I had to keep reading. In meeting his father you really got to see where he

I got to 45% and decided to dnf it.

Bad writing, bad pace, questionable characters and badly outlined, conflicts resolved so quickly, sexist and misogynistic treatment of "other girls" that are not the female protagonist.

Mia Cowell got accepted with a full scholarship at Florida and joined her friends for a celebration, but she was tired from all the worrying and fussing over everything. She kept thinking she forgot something. She repacked her suitcase three times and even her younger brother was laughing at her. Her thoughts went back to Bryant Howard, the star quarterback, and his bullying through high school, calling her a mega-nerd so the other guys would stay away from her. She wondered if her current sad ...more

Bryant and Mia were definitely enemies in high school. His unkind comments led to her being bullied by others in his popular kid crowd and those who were trying to be part of that crowd. Her interactions with Bryant made her high school days rather miserable, even though she learned to toss back her own barbs and derogatory comments. Now they are both at Florida University along with her supposed best friend and his current girlfriend, Sam. Handsome, rich and a gifted athlete, Bryant has a ...more

This is a great book. It is a bully and college romance. Bryant and Mia have known each other since grade school and he was always bullying her. When Mia is unable to go to her college of choice, she goes to Community College for a year and reapplies. She gets a full scholarship and moves to Florida. What a fantastic, second chance story. I was hooked from the start.

Mia is a senior in high school and cant wait to be accepted into college so she can leave her problems behind. Her problems?? A handsome, bully football player. When her world goes up in flames her plans change. Once she has the opportunity to put her goals back into play, she heads off to college. Once there it takes a short amount of time to have her world flipped upside down once again.

An amazing book and I absolutely loved it! Bryant bullied Mia in high school and then ends up dating her best friend in college. When Mia finally follows them to college a year later, she finds over time that Bryant isn't as bad as he seemed. He breaks up with her best friend, Sam, at a party and she immediately has them double dating on a dare. It doesn't turn out the way Sam hopes and it causes friction between her and Mia. Mia finds herself wanting to spend more time with Bryant and after a ...more

Perfectly Wrong. This book was interesting. The story deals with a lot of issues teenagers go through while in high school. It sometimes spills over into college. Mia had to deal with bullying on several levels. Once while in high school by the guy she meets again at college only Bryant has changed and has shown Mia people can change and be given a second chance. The other way is with her brother who is beaten up by bullies because of his personal orientation. Mia is also dealing with her best ...more

Bryant has always bullied Mia when they were in high school together. Bryant happens to get a scholarship to play football for a Florida University. Mia has been trying to get in at the same Florida University because she wanted to get into the journalism department. Bryant happens to be dating Mias best friend but she has been clingy so he decides at a party at his house that he is breaking up with her. When Mia and her best friend get to the party, Bryant tells Mia what he is going to do when ...more

I don't typically like college romance books but I love sports books. So i read this with mixed feelings at first.
But this book had amazing charachters that built from silly high school students to mature adults.

People think being rich is great, but this hero had a terrible parent that made him behave like a bully. After a year of college, Bryant starts to realize that he doesn't have to be like his father. When he sees Mia again, he admits to his repressed feelings.
This is a funny and sweet

DNF after only @ 10% or so. Stupid start and writing was like by a teenager. So the heroine is off to college, after a one-year gap, because her house caught on fire and they didn't have money to send her to college. Meanwhile, her BFF and the boy she hated the most in high school (in IN) go off to college together, the same one she should have attended. In FL. Like that makes any sense. Anyway, her BFF has apparently started dating her sworn enemy, and that's how the story begins and that's ...more

This book is an enemy to lover romance. Mia was bullied by Bryant in their high school years but something's changed when Mia went to the same campus as Bryant. I think it happens so fast but I kind of understand that Bryant did it because he wanted to get Mia's attention. The reason that I give this book 4.5 stars is because sometime I don't understand Mia's thinking method though. I'm not a person who cringes to make a friend so I don't understand why Mia attached to Sam so much. Beside that ...more

This exceptional read will draw you in from the first page and hold you captivated until the end! It is well written, emotionally deep, fast pace, funny, witty, moves at a brisk pace, and is quite enjoyable. The characters are loveable, deep, and sweet; the chemistry between them is blazing hot. I loved watching their story unfold and the ups and downs, trust issues, family and friends drama, and misunderstandings make for a powerful read. This is a very interesting and engaging read that I ...more

This is another entertaining romance by this author. The characters are all well developed and engaging and the story has a decent plot. It is a college romance so there is a lot of drama, most of it very juvenile, but that fits with the college setting. I did find parts of the story a little confusing to follow at times which is why I gave it only 4 stars, but this is overall a very entertaining and enjoyable romance, full of over the top drama and sizzling romance.

Unsolicited review :
This is a sports/enemies-to-lovers/virgin & bad boy/ college romance. It has all the elements to enjoy and a couple to root for. It was a fast paced read with drama and turmoil to keep it interesting. This would have been a 4-5 star book but I was not overly impressed with the conversational aspect of the book. The conversation between characters at time seem unnatural and forced. I was able to overlook that and finish the book but this author will not be on my must read

Summer has done a wicked good job with this enemies to lovers, high school drama to college romance.

Bryant and Mia get to you. You become fully invested in the unorthodox ways they manage to get to their happy ending. The entire cast of characters are important to the story.

One book you'll want to read over and over with the same excitement as the first time. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.

Another good book by Summer Brooks !

Perfectly Wrong is a college football-enemies-to-lovers romance.
Mia and Bryant used to pick at each other in high school; now going to the same college, they meet up again, through one of Mia's best friend.
After that, well, it's typical college sport life; drama, some backstabbing, booze and parties!
Good and strong characters put in very real situations.

He was a jock, sometimes acting like a jerk. She was smart & sassy & was extremely wary of the guy who used to bait her at high school. Both on scholarships, he was hoping to make it to the NFL whilst she was studying journalism. She was wary of him as he used to bait her at high school though she continued to be sassy & smart & tried hard to fight her undeniable attraction for him. Could they find a way to be together? I received an arc & this is my honest & voluntary ...more

Bryant and Mia were nemesis in high school that carried over to them going to college. He was her tormentor in high school but when he saw her at a party, it all changed. After his break up to her close friend, they were pushed together in a game of truth or dare. One thing led to another and next they were in a relationship Will they be able to make it work considering how it all came about?

I started reading this feeling optimistic but it just got worse. It was in a third person view point and Mia the main character just kept babbling in my view point. Was extremely rushed at the end and so many things was unnecessary. I usually dont write bad reviews but this one got me saying wow, waste of storyline. I wished the author really played to the drama so has a reader you can actually feel the drama and angst. Rushing through too many obstacles.

Enemies to lovers story of 2 college students who have a long history of bullying the nerd at school but overcome this to get together and in love. I'm not usually a college aged romance reader but always enjoy Summer's work.

This was an interesting read. bullied all through school by the rich popular boy, because of her nerdy ways, Mia fought everything in her life to succeed to where she wanted to be. Bryant was misunderstood for most of his life and even through the drama of others he managed to provide he wasn't who Mia always thought him to be. Great read.

Finished it, but didnt like it.

This was my first book from this author and probably my last. The premise was intriguing but the story was just written weird. I disliked the main characters and pretty much everything about it.

A not quite so enemies to lovers romance. It is a good read and I would recommend this book because the premise is wonderful and unusual, however the author needs to develop the characters and the body of the story just a little bit more.
