To The Rude Guy in Apartment Five,

Im glad youre happy to have moved into a new apartment, but no:

I do not want to have a beer with you.
I do not want to have a nude sleepover.
I do not want to make you breakfast, lunch or dinner, no matter how many lap dances you promise to give me.
I do not need you to serenade me through the walls at 1am.
And no, I have no interest

It was cute and funny. This is the first book I've read by this author and I really enjoyed it. Jagger kinda came across as a douche bag at first but he redeemed himself. I can't wait to read Jane and Tate's story next.

Hilarious Banter And Enemies To Lovers Tension! Underneath Jagger And Magnolia's Crazy Love Story Sits A Rich History That Ended With Years Of Pain.

This is the first book in The Inappropriate Bachelors series, which appears to revolve around a group of five women who are hired at a new tech start-up in San Francisco and become fast friends. This is Magnolia's story about her rude new neighbor. The next in the series is about Jane. To My Arrogant Boss is her story about her socially awkward boss

Loved this story from beginning to end; just enough steam
What a cleverly written story! It starts out with notes back and forth from occupants of apartments #4 and #5. They get progressively funny and a tad bit flirty. Magnolia Allen has enough on her plate what with a new job, rent being due soon, not enough money to pay it and not having had s** for 450 days and counting
But the heat level goes up quite a few notches when Magnolia meets her new neighbor, none other than a former friend from

I loved that you get pulled into the story right away as it starts off with a funny Post It note war that begins between Jagger (who just moved into apt.5) and Magnolia (his neighbor next door in apt. 4). Reading the notes between the two of them made me laugh.

There are also some surprises that come to light really early. Like who Jagger really is. Turns out him and Magnolia have some history together. The question is was it fate that brought them together again or something else entirely?

Magnolia moved away from New York to get a brand new start in San Francisco. She has a new job at a brand new start up and is looking forward to it. She misses her family and best friend, but knows she needs to do this. Then a note from the building manager arrives, announcing that there is a new neighbor moving in and make sure to welcome him to the building. One morning, she notices that the plant by her door has been tipped over, dirt spilling everywhere. She leaves a note on Apartment #5, ...more

*I received this ARC for my completely honest opinion.

I loved this book. The past doesnt always stay in the past. Sometimes what we think is the truth isnt actually the whole truth. Also, we have to face our pasts before we can really move forward. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I feel like the end was rushed. I think Magnolia shouldve taken more time to digest what Jagger reveals to her and make him work harder to earn her love and trust. Otherwise I really like the

Magnolia is starting a new job today. She's going to be a fashion blogger for a start-up company, even though she has little fashion sense. To be fair, she wasn't actually asked about her fashion expertise in the interview and she's not going to complain about the $80,000 salary she's earning! How does a blogger make that kind of money? Life is looking up for Magnolia and stranger things are going on in her apartment building. She has a new neighbor next door in apartment 5, but she's never seen ...more

Humor and love
4.5
Excellent well written romance, which has a simple side, but the relationship between Jagger and Magnolia is often funny by their exchanges whether on notes or between them. This story has a lot of humor from the first chapter.
Magnolia exchanges more and more aggressive notes with her new neighbor until she discovers who he is: Jagger, an old acquaintance from her childhood. We understand that something happened 10 years ago and that she is angry with him. From that moment,

I recently discovered J.S. Cooper and oh my goodness, I'm so glad I did! To The Rude Guy in Apartment Five is the best!!

If you're looking for a story that's going to make you laugh, take you back to your dating years, as well as give you all the feels for a couple you want so desperately to see together, then this is certainly the story for you. From the opening pages, I loved the author's style--the little notes attached to Magnolia's apartment door as well as the diary-type letters with each

Magnolia and Jagger have history and haven't seen each other in years but when they meet again there connection and chemistry is still as hot and strong. Magnolia lives in apartment four and doesn't realise that the notes on her door are from Jagger in apartment five. Does Jagger know who lives in apartment four or not. Wow I love this book so much, the characters including Magnolia's friends are so funny and made me laugh so much with the notes going back and forth and the conversation's ...more

This is a second chance romance. The book begins with Magnolia trading notes with her new neighbor. Magnolia seems a bit up tight and Jagger is easy going. The notes are hilarious and Jagger is kind of obnoxious, but that's a part of his charm. Magnolia and Jagger have a bit of history and it's wonderful and heartbreaking at the same time. They both made mistakes and are completely aware and repentant of those mistakes. The book takes us on a journey of them accepting the past and navigating ...more

OMG, this book drew me in from the very first note that was left. I loved the whole banter between apartments 4 and 5. I was laughing more and more with each note. When Magnolia (#4) realizes who Jagger (#5) is, it was so great because there was some history between them and she never thought she would see him again. Sometimes fate has other plans. 10 years ago, they made an almost mistake that hurt several people in their lives. Fast forward 10 years later and the feelings and chemistry that ...more

Main Male and Female Characters: Great Repartee.

I really got into the swing of things with this novel right away from the blurb about the story. I loved the repartee between the two main male and female characters. This art of the book was especially funny. I felt like I could "hear" a bit of "Seuss-isms" in their banter. (Love the work of Dr. Seuss.) The characterizations were clearly defined, believable and matured over time. The story itself was original and for the most part light-hearted.

I absolutely loved this book, it deserves more than 5⭐, it kept me engrossed and entertained from the very first page, I just couldnt put it down. The characters were really believable with the humour and antics hilarious, not to mention the sizzling chemistry between them. Magnolia Allen never thought when she moved into apartment 4 and started her new job that her past would come back to haunt her, but was her past a case of missed opportunities?? And Kingston Jagger Scott in apartment 5 was a ...more

The rude guy in Apt 5 was a cute, quick and sarcastic read by JS Cooper.
Magnolia has moved across the country for a fresh new start... until the new next door neighbor and she start getting into it with post-it note fights. When she finally figures out who he is, she freaks out because it just so happens to be the one guy she never wanted to see again - Jagger. Jagger keeps harassing her about going out or talking or being generally rude.

So the book was cute and had a cute story line... im

This book has made me feel all kind of emotions, and I can't wait to read it again! It is a story about 2 people who live next door to each other in a apartment building. Jagger and Magnolia are sight unseen neighbors who leave sexy, humorous notes and gifts at each others doors. He thinks its a guy and she thinks he's a 🐷. Only to find out they have a deep history.

This one has bits of humor but definitely takes twists as you get to why she is so angry at him. Definitely took roads I didn't see but it has me on high alert because I had to know the history between them.

Both characters definitely have a chemistry you can feel. There are a few times where I had to

ARC for an honest review

Kingston Jagger Scott lives next door to the girl of his dreams but they have a past and he needs to prove to Magnolia that she has always been the one for him. His biggest regret was how he handled is ten years ago.

She starts getting notes from her next door neighbour, that are funny, at times naughty but so amusing. She soon meets her neighbour and it turns out to be somebody from her past. From there, they go on this journey to put the past to rest for both of them to a bright future. The characters are funny, eclectic and I can't wait to see what's in store for all of ...more

From the very beginning you could feel the chemistry between these two characters.
Jagger and Magnolia's story begins as neighbors who leave sexy, funny, notes and a surprise gift (you'll crack up about) at each others doors.
Jagger thinks he's writing notes to a guy and Magnolia thinks he's just an abnoxious pig. Until they find out the true identity of Mr Apt 5 and Ms
