Preciously ONE review, 5 star, from author.

What an amazing story of love, loss and basketball. The title for this story really fits it very well.

The characters in this story were remarkable. I loved falling in love with Rachel and Adam's story. Awe, mi amor, my heart....Just so very romantic.

The story-line was amazing. Though I have to admit that I wish that the story was a bit more about basketball like the first book was about baseball, but I still loved reading about Rachel and her family. This was a good wholesome read that pulled at

After being set up on a blind date, Rachel and Adam come to an agreement to scratch each other's backs. The agreement: they pretend to be in a relationship in a bid for Rachel to rid her bad reputation and Adam to get over his ex-girfriend, Heather. Sounds straight forward enough. However, when feelings start to complicate their relationship, it soon starts to become difficult to distinguish between what's genuine and what's just part of the game.

Rachel is known for being the rebound girl and is

This is book #2, in the Girls Of Summer series. This book can be read as a standalone novel. To avoid spoilers, and to completely understand the series, I recommend reading these in order.

Rachel is ok with being set up on a blind date. She is used to coming in second. She is used to being the backup. When she explains this to Adam, however, he proposes something different that she knows will end up the same.

Adam is ready for a change. Or is he? His ex is always near and he needs to really be

In the beginning, we meet a seemingly self-absorbed, indifferent Rachel who seems to care more about appearances than anything else. As the book continues, however, we see that Rachel has issues stemming from a lack of parental attention. She's not a typical rich girl, yet in some ways, she is a typical rich girl, as she tends to use her money and influence to move things along, even when it makes others uncomfortable. Rachel hasn't made many serious efforts to make friends, as she's

The plot was quite slow sometimes. I felt like the author was forcely pushing the drama between Rachel and Alex.
It was, after all, a cute romance with drawbacks to it. So, I guess I shouldn't have been that judgey towards it. I mean, it's not everyday you see a sport-related romance theme going on.
It was quite interesting to be honest.
It just had some small flaws.

Rachel Westbrook has it all, money, designer clothes huge house. The bad thing, she is known a the rebound girl. If you break up, or get dumped and want to make a girl jealous, you date Rachel.

Rachel doesn't date for real. She has a good reason to be careful with guys.

When she goes on a date with Adam, she takes it as a chance to change her reputation. He gets a rebound and she loses the title of rebound girl. So they have to make it look very real. The more real they make it, the more

*This book was sent to me in exchange for an honest review*

While the ending did have me in a pretty emotional state, I feel like the rest of the book was less than. I did not relate to our main character and didn't have any feelings towards her other than pity. I felt like the pacing of the romantic relationship was pretty good until it turned insta-love at the end. We literally know nothing about Adam even by the end. I also felt like Rachel really wanted to be a better person, but her sudden
