Jonas had it all a loving fiance the good job and rich. Until his finance "died" in a car crash he has been living a shell of a life work work and more work. Not wanting to move on and annoying his Grand since she wants him to marry. He wont.

Now he has to figure out who caused the accident and sent his girl away. And it becomes more clear when he speaks to his gran. Now he has to make sure his girl knows her past and marry him.

The premise was actually pretty good, the execution was just ridiculous
So h/H were together and engaged, she disappeared after an accident and was presumed dead. He goes to a dinner and sees her working for one of his acquaintances and upon finding out they had a son he demands she leave with him
Yadda yadda yadda he eventually believes her amnesia story BUT WAIT her memory comes back after they kiss( you've gotta be kidding me) they have sex, I love you, his grandmother was a massive bitch and No Way did he handle that scene at the breakfast table properly!
* No rating I often hesitate to rate these books because they generally don't work for ME personally but there's nothing wrong with it per se

Tiene una premisa atractiva muy telenovelezca pero atractiva.
No es el mejor libro del mundo pero es corto y se lee rápido, es entretenido la mayor parte y si tiene varios errores absurdos de coherencia sobre todo cuando ella recupera sus recuerdos.
Si no tienes nada que leer o vienes de lecturas pesadas y te gustan los libros estilo Alexa Riley, éste puede ser una opción.

Secretly good!
I love secret baby books! Especially when you can't fault the reason it's a secret. I also adored Jonas reaction to finding Darby again. This was a quick, fun read with a j/p hero and sweet heroine.

Heart strings are going to be pulled. Another fabulous read that had all the elements I crave in a read. A strong sexy Alpha, who’s unwavering love for Darby never dimmed even when he thought she was gone forever.
But upon discovering her again he vows she’ll never leave his side again.
It’ll make you smile, laugh and tear up. But it will also restore your faith in love.

This little novella had a good premise the execution was just off for me, and had me double blinking in bafflement.
Also what was with the scene at breakfast - Jonas's gran urgh, but his reaction was just exceptionally disappointing, not what I was expecting or hoping for. At times the writing/dialogue didn't flow well, especially when it came to the wicked grandma.

No estuvo del todo mal. Las primeras 50 paginas fueron bastante entretenidas, luego la trama descarrila y ya no volvio a ser lo mismo, pese a todo, fue una lectura rapida ( muy muy rapida ) y ligera para leer con el tiempo justo.
De haber tenido mas hojas quizas no le hubiera encontrado tantas incoherencias, y la evolucion de los protagonistas hubiese sido mas realista .
En fin, Love' s Secret Baby es un relato simple, el mayor aliciente para darle una oportunidad es lo corto que es, por lo demas, no lo considero imprescindible.

I'm a sucker for a possessive business man who goes soft and gentle only for his lady. Loved this couple. Loved the super cute epilogue with 3 kids and pregnant heroine and hero being jealous and all caveman. His evil grandmother tried to tear them apart but they finally got their well deserved HEA! A great amnesia story. Safe: they were apart for 3 years but they were both celibate! Hero thought she was dead but he never moved on. Swoon-worthy!

Mí humilde opinión:
Jonas perdió al amor de su vida, su prometida y luego de tres años no puede recuperarse de su muerte.
A pesar de la insistencia de su abuela para que rehaga su vida y le de un nieto, sabe que nunca lo hará. Nunca dejará de amar a su difunta mujer.
Darby no tiene recuerdos de su vida anterior. Hace años despertó en una cama de hospital con amnesia y le dijeron además que estaba embarazada.
Ahora un hombre aparece y le dice que la llevará a casa.
Me gustó la trama. Que ella tenga amnesia y que él la encuentre después de años con su hijo.
Un poco bruto cuando la acusa a ella de haberlo dejado sin que le preguntara que le pasó a Darby.
También fue un poco raro que Jonas la bese y de repente recuerde todo, me hubiera gustado que lo haga de otra forma, más creíble.
De todas formas, es una historia que la disfruté. Con sus escenas dulces y sexys y por supuesto con un merecido epilogo

Very sweet
Another amnesia secret baby romance and I still liked it. The hero was over the top alpha and he really loved his Darby. He waited faithfully for almost three years and e stone thought she was dead. There is not much to the story but it's a nice escape. Writing was okay and i enjoyed it. The antagonist was awful and was never redeemed. I like the name Jax for the baby. The only thing I didn't really enjoy were the sex scenes and no I am not a prude but they weren't romantic to me. Just sex scenes. That is my personal opinion though and the story was still good. I just googled over those. Nice epilogue too. With babies.

2.5 - The Whole Situation was Eye-Roll Worthy - Stars
I'm trying to up my book count so I grabbed this short one. While the premise was cute, it was absolutely ridiculous the way the whole thing played out in the end. Heroine has amnesia after an accident, wakes up in the hospital pregnant, no idea of the father or who she is beyond her name.
Hero thinks she's dead but has never stopped looking for her. Goes to a party because his sister tricks him into it. Sees his long lost love, realizes he has a son and immediately thinks she hid his son from him. No questions. Proceeds to basically kidnap their son and her, bringing her back to this grandmother's estate (who is an evil twunt). Finally realizes she actually has amnesia and that good ole granny was behind her disappearance from the hospital.
Heroine immediately forgives him for being a dick. They kiss and VOILA!!!! Her memory instantly returns. She remembers everything! His magical lips fixed her amnesia.
Happy ending for all. Evil grandma gets voted out by the board. Hero marries heroine and they have more babies. The end.

Awww I loved Jonas and Darby’s story. Jonas never gave up hope that Darby was still out there. He was using all his resources to find her. A chance encounter brought him back his family he never knew he had. He’s hurt and anger that she kept his son from him but when he finally puts all the pieces together, Jonas does everything to make his family whole again.
I really hope we get Luca’s story!!

"Love's Secret Baby" is the story of Darby and Jason.
The hero and heroine in this one are separated by amnesia, evil relatives and fate. They meet again by chance, the hero behaves like an ass, obvious truth is revealed, they work over their issues and get their HEA.
I was REALLY loving it except the angst didn't last long LOL.

Good premise.
The Hero changes his attitude a bit quick for me but only because he's checked her story.
Shame it could have had more depth and been really good.
No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine.
During separation, although they suspect the heroine is dead, the Hero is celibate.
HEA.

To be honest I DNFed around 90%. I just didn't see the point in reading the last few pages.
Fluffy and predictable.
Darby has amnesia as long as it conveniently suites the story.
She has been missing for 3 years when Jonas finds her by chance and drags her home with him, as well as their 2 year old boy.
Jonas is angry at first until Darby finally remembers how to talk. (*sarcasm*)
Then it's the evil rich granny who gets her comeuppance.

Loved this secret baby romance. Darby ad Jonas were so good together. Three years ago, they were engaged to be married and she just found out that she was pregnant. There was an accident and she lost her memory and was moved away. Jonas never quit looking for her, he couldn’t believe that she was dead like he was told. Three years later, he sees her and that sets off a chain of events that will keep you on the edge of your seat wanting to know what happened to her. Loved this story. Great side characters except for one, I didn’t like her and once you read this story, you will see why.

“My life ended the day I thought I lost you.”
Another good story by Ms. Goode. I didn't love it though like I normally do with her books. The H was kind of harsh to the h through the first half of the book (which I understood why) but the second half really is what won me over. No others during separation, no abuse, epilogue 5 years. I'll continue to anxiously wait for the next story by this wonderful author.

Even though his Grandmother has been pressing him to marry and have heirs, Jonas Willits knows he wont. The only woman he loved died and he will never love another. When he attends a party at his friends, he sees Darby again. He wants answers, she is alive and well and has his son.
This was a fun quick read. I liked how the story unfolded and did not feel like the story was rushed. Jonas is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to Darby. Fun quickie.

3.5 Soapy-Fluffy Stars
Free with KU, Love’s Secret Baby is a feel-good, sweet, fluffy, modern day-soapy, second chance romance read. I didn't realize it was so short when I started, but it works, because even though it's entertaining; it lacks any real substance, so it could have gotten old after a while.
Jonas and Darby were engaged, and head over heels in love when he received a call that there'd been an accident, and Darby was missing. Three years later, after spending millions in vain to locate her, she is presumed dead, but Jonas can't move on. Meanwhile, Darby and her son are living with friends who took her in after being released from the hospital pregnant with amnesia.
There is definitely a soapy feel; the plot is far-fetched, and not realistic at all. The characters are OTT; there's even an evil rich granny. So this really needs to be your thing, or you'll find it stupid. It's fluffy, but not G-rated fluff; the H is a caveman alpha, obsessed with his h, and has plenty of sexytime. There's some family drama, but nothing heavy, and no couple drama-no triggers here.
Bottom line- My rating is based on the genre, because it's well written, and I found it entertaining. If you don't enjoy the soapy genre, or are looking for a serious romance; you won't like it. If you're in the mood for 100 pages of mindless, soapy entertainment... give it a shot. The shorter length makes everything move quickly, so there's no chance to get bored.

I really enjoyed this story! Jonas is a shadow to his former self. His fiancé was presumed dead after an accident. He didn’t want to believe that she was dead and was being pressured from everyone around him to move on. He was never going to move on. Darby has been living with her son while suffering from amnesia for three years. She was in an accident and doesn’t remember anything from before it. She doesn’t even know who the father of her son is. Fate and destiny step in and reunite these two but it is not all smooth sailing. Jonas was a bit of a jerk when they were both reunited. He didn’t believe Darby and was pretty cold to her. I also wish that his grandma faced more of a fallout, what she did was horrible.

Perfect book if you're looking for a besotted hero pining for his lost love. I loved that Jonas was dedicated to Darby and instead mourned her, rather than sowed his seed. He was faithful throughout the separation.

April 10, 2023 this book was boring depite its questionable yet intriguing synopsis. It wasn't bad but it was far from good either. The writing style was simple to a fault the romance was ? The pacing of the story was horrible and the characters' actions did not make sense to me. All in all i think this novella could've been decent if the author went for a normal length novel because lets be real you can't have amnesia + secret baby + love interest who thinks you're dead + emotional angsty reunion + evil family member in 100 pages
