She thinks she owns me. She’s never been more wrong.

My second-in-command sold me out.
Stabbed me in the back.
Betrayed me to our sworn enemies.

Now, I’m the prisoner of the Irish mob.

Their don wants to beat me down.
But his daughter would rather tie me up.

Jamie buys me off the auction stage to star in her pet photography project.
“The Beast,” she calls me. A fitting title.
But little does the beauty know…
This beast cannot be caged.

“What exactly are you going to do?” she asks.
Dark intensity creeps into my eyes. “Anything I want.”

This story has more hills and valleys, more twists and turns than a roller coaster, and, you are going to want to get on, lean back and enjoy the ride!! Usually, I dislike books that resemble soap operas with so many plot twists, multiple plyers and different storylines within the prime event but, Ms. Fox's exceptional writing style and storytelling caught and held my attention. The sizzling chemistry was almost palpable between Andrei (head of Bratva mob) and Jamie (Irish mob boss's daughter) when deceit and betrayal bring these two together. The character reversal of who is vulnerable and who has the strength entices the reader to keep reading to see these vile acts will play out, and if all these players will get their HEA or just deserts! The anger, hate, frustration, disgust, and animal magnetism bombarding Andrei and Jamie force them to re-evaluate their life paths, and make some gut-wrenching decisions. You do not want to miss this book!

What an interesting twist on the Dark Mafia Romance genre! These two characters are among my favorites that Nicole Fox has introduced us to. Andrei and Jamie are well written, compelling characters trying to deal the best they can with their current circumstances. The chemistry starts out hot and grows from there. The bad guys in this book are really bad and you hope the entire book they get theirs in the end. The storyline has some drama, moves very quickly, and has a few twits along the way. As usual, Nicole Fox has given us another great read!

WOW WOW WOW WOW AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!! A OUTSTANDING READ!!!!!!!
WOW WOW WOW
Andrei is the head of the bratva. Man and leader are one you cant separate them. But when the head of the Irish mob Cormac Gallagher try's to trick him in to paying an extra 10% on a delivery he knows he must not cower down to him.
There meeting was meant to a be a simple affair. Met at his daughters gallery and talk about the delivery. When he entered the gallery he was taken aback by the photos on the wall but that was nothing like what he felt for the feisty daughter Jamie. Most woman turns submissive when he was near them Jamie was nothing like them She was one hot Irish princess.
Andrei knew he was starting a war against the Irish but he didn't care, the Bratva didnt bow down to anyone. But when he went to talk to his second in command out side the club he was ambushed and taken prisoner. The Irish made him take part in a human auction Andrei showed no fear and he would fight till the end he knew who ever won him tonight they would kill him slowly. But he would go down as a man and show no fear, death was nothing to fear.
Jamie couldnt believe it when she saw Andrei at the auction and she didnt understand her feelings but she knew she must try and save him. Even if it was just for a little time. She talked her father into buying him so she could take his photo's She wanted the beast! And what Jamie wanted her father got!!!!
OMG THIS IS AN OUTSTANDING READ. TOTALLY SUCKED ME IN AND HAD ME HOOKED FROM THE FIRST CHAPTER. THESE TWO ARE ELECTRIC AND THE CHEMISTRY IS EXPLOSIVE. BUT THEY CONNECT ON A DIFFERENT LEVEL THAT JUST MAKES YOUR HEART SING. OMG THIS REALLY IS A BRILLIANT READ. FANTASTIC ONE OF THE BEST READ THIS YEAR!!!!

Jamie is the only daughter of the head of their Irish ‘family’. A talented photographer she isn’t a fan of the life she was born into. At an exhibition at the gallery her father had bought her, she first sees Andrei. The gorgeous Russian Bratva leader is there for a meeting with her father. They enjoy a playful banter until he is called for his meeting, during which he realises that the deal is weighted in extra money for the Irish. He walks away, disrespecting them and kickstarts a retaliation. When he is betrayed by his second in command, he finds himself for sale at an auction where enemies of the family are sold off. When Jamie sees the gorgeous Russian on the stage, she knows she has to do something to help him, so she convinces her father to purchase him for one of her photography projects. She insists he is injury free and as the weeks go by, the project also hides that they’ve become consumed by each other with their passionate relationship. It’s a shared battle for control but they are each getting more drawn in as they understand that although in their worlds, Bratva and Irish family don’t mix, their hearts are already interwoven. A brilliant book that’s well written with a fantastic plot and interesting characters. Absolutely superb!

“WOW” you can always rely on Nicole Fox to pack a punch and deliver a fantastic mafia book and this is no exception. There are twists and turns, and revaluations I just never saw coming. It flows seamlessly, gritty in places making you an emotional wreck hoping for a good outcome. Two high class mafia families the Irish and the Russians fighting for supreme dominance but who will win???? Jamie o’Gallagher is Cormac’s daughter, Irish mafia all she wants is to peruse her photography career. Andrei, Russian mafia boss who has closed off his feelings following the traumatic death of his parents when he was ten, now finds himself kidnapped to be auctioned off when his second in command Timofey betrays him, beaten and incarcerated is this his end???? Jamie persuades her father to buy him as her next photograph project”Beast”. The more time they spend together the closer they get, Boundary’s are crossed, Jamie is hiding a secret!! Could Jamie actually help him to escape??? And what has Molly Jamie’s bestie got up her sleeve.??? All the answers are right here in this book, so what are you waiting for. It’s so so good. I was given this as an ARC by the author and Booksprout in exchange for a voluntary honest review which I am happy to provide.

This dark mafia romance has the tables turned - the head of the Bratva is the hostage and the daughter of the Irish Family his “captor”.

Andrei seems ever bit The Beast he portrays. What I liked most about him was his treatment of his captors and guards - being kind, for example, to cause them to let down their guard or infuriate them. He could maintain a calm, passive demeanor even while being beaten. He develops a protective streak a mile wide for Jamie. That might be the only thing that shows chink in his armor.

Jamie knows what her father does to people and has been trying to ignore it, but she has learned some of his acts that she cannot forget about any longer. This helps her display her true character and come to terms with herself by doing the right, not the easiest thing.

You will like this book if you like action, strong alpha males, independent females, steamy scenes, and family secrets.

Andrei and Jamie's love story

Andrei Bakhtin is the head of the Bakhtin Bratva. He is 6'5", 280 pounds, and is incredibly strong and powerful. He is a fierce and fair leader, with his men loyal to him.
Jamie O'Gallagher is the 25 year old daughter of Cormac O'Gallagher, the head of the Irish mob. She is his only heir, but she has nothing to do with the Family business. She is a successful photographer, although her father thinks it is a waste time.
Andrei meets Jamie at one of her exhibitions before he has a meeting with her father. She calls him The Beast in a joking manner.
At the meeting, Andrei realizes what a scum Cormac is. His second betrays him, and Andrei is taken prisoner, where he remains for more than half the book.
Their story is entertaining, as Jaime manipulated her father to buy Andrei for her latest photo project, The Beast.
Most of the Irish are portrayed as undisciplined, immoral, and weak. Tge Bratva only kill guilty men, the Irish wantonlu kill anyone, including women and children.
I enjoyed this book and recommend it.

This was far greater the best mafia book I have read! Andrei, the head of the Bakhtin Bratva finds himself captured and enslaved by a rival family. When Jamie finds the mysterious, handsome stranger she met on the stage being sold as a slave, she does the only thing possible, she tricks her father (the head of the rival Mafia family) into buying him. I loved the fact that Andrei spends the majority of this book in a prison cell yet seems to remain in control the entire time. The interactions between these two rivals, a Russian boss and an Irish Princess are magic to behold. The entire book kept me on the edge of my seat wondering whether Andrei would be killed before he finds a way to escape and could their ever be an HEA for Andrei and Jamie? If you have become used to the "usual" Mafia Romance storyline, be sure to buy this book and sit back for a surprise with the magical writing of Nicole Fox.

Andrei Bahktin, head of the Bratva has spent years in a truce with the Irish, but Cormac Gallagher, along with the second in command of Andrei, ambush him and ends up kidnapped by the Irish. They offer him at auction, but Cormac’s daughter, Jamie, convinces her father to buy him bc it will very good for her next photo exhibition.
For weeks Andrei is kept locked in Cormac’s house and Jamie and Andrei can no longer avoid the physical attraction they both feel and end up fucking like animals.
But feelings arise, more betrayals, more hidden truths and Cormac is counting the days to kill Andrei.
Jamie is an Irish princess with a father who neither hears or understands her, with her ex who raped and abused her and she ends up falling in love with her father’s enemy.
One of the best books I’ve read from this author.
Enjoy the read of the story of Jamie and Andrei, aka The Beast.

This is the story of Andrei and Jamie. Jamie's dad is head of the irish mob and Andrei is head of the Russian bratva. Jamie's dad captures Andrei and puts him up for sale and Jamie convinces her dad to buy him for an art installation she wants to work on. I thought that was kinda farfetched. So now Andrei is a prisoner in Jamie's high tech house with lots of security. She goes to the basement and enters his cell alone on many occasions. Kinda farfetched. She sleeps with him in said call which apparently doesn't have cameras, again farfetched. There were a couple of other things that were a little unbelievable. I didnt care for any of the premise, I didn't really feel their chemistry. It felt bland. I hate that I didnt like this book because I have enjoyed lots of books by Nicole just not this one.

4 1/2 Stars!

A fierce rivalry between the Irish mobsters led by Jamie's twisted megalomaniac father and the Russian Bratva was the background to this dark romance.
Andrei was captured, beaten and auctioned off after being underhandedly attacked by the Irish.
I liked the way Jamie tried to save Andrei by using him for her photography exhibition, but she was powerless when it came to her father and his henchmen.
Brutal, graphic powerplays ensued with Jamie outmaneuvered time and time again. Luckily, Andrei fell for her despite his vow for revenge and retribution.
Jamie was finally able to throw off and overcome the blanket of victimization that hovered over her with the help of Andrei and their mutual but seemingly ill fated love for each other.
Lots of drama, with a bit of a twist that culminated in a satisfying HEA ending.

Nobody writes Mafia stories like Nicole Fox!
This one will take you on an exciting steamy ride!
Andrei is the leader of the Russian Bratva. He’s a gorgeous feared and a very powerful man. When he meets Jamie he feels an instant spark. But she’s the daughter of his enemy and that’s all she’ll ever be.
Jamie is the daughter of the Irish Mafia boss. And she just met her match. Andrei is a beast of a man and he definitely sparks her interest.
But she knows she has to stay away.
When her father kidnaps Andrei and sells him at his auction there’s only one thing she can do. BUY HIM! She makes a deal with the devil himself to keep him alive.
Falling in love with the beast was never the plan. But A deal is a deal!
I love the fun flirty banter between Andrei and Jamie. And the STEAMY SCENES are WOW!

This talented author took a somewhat different approach to this dark mafia romance & it can be read as a standalone. The well-written plot has an “enemies to lovers” undertone & is exceptionally intriguing with good scene descriptions & world building. The characters have good chemistry & portray realistic emotional feelings.
There is: a betrayed bratva boss (Andrei) is obtained by (Jamie) the daughter of the Irish Mafia Boss (Cormac) who is determined to kill him, intrigue, suspense, action, adventure, drama, twists & turns, family issues, devious plans, deceit, betrayal, secrets, threats, danger, enemies, violence, revenge, injuries, death, alliances, steamy scenes, contentment & a well-deserved satisfying conclusion. I definitely would recommend this book to people who like to read this genre.

Suspend all belief before you open this one

Andrei is the third book in the Heirs to the Bratva Empire series and is the story of Andrei and Jamie. Andrei is the head of the Bakhtin Bratva and Jamie is the daughter of the head of the Irish Mafia.
So right off the start I need to say that the story-line for this book was just so over the top outlandish that I was groaning, rolling my eyes and thinking that this has to be a bad folk tale. I just could not suspend my brain enough to buy into this story and characters. This is only my opinion and I know there are other readers who will love this book so all the more power to you if you are one of those.
I have read a number of Nicole Fox's books but this book and actually the series I just could not get into which disappointed me.

Andrei is the Bratva boss and he is taken and sold has an hostage by the Irish mob. The daughter of the Irish godfather, gets her father to buy him for her photography project. Their journey is rough ,intense and dramatic but the coming together by these two very different people makes this a fabulous action packed, intensely hot story. The cast of characters will not and can not leave you indifferent to their plight. The depth of emotions their journey will bring to the surface makes this one of the best mafia story around. Nicole Fox you have again shown me that you are a fantastic story teller and that your imagination has no bounds.

Andrei is a Bratva boss and his life is about to change drastically. Jamie does not want anything to do with her father's business. Unfortunately she has no choice in the matter. Jamie and Andrei meet at an art show and later when she is at an auction that has nefarious intent. Jamie asks her father for Andrei when it becomes clear that she can change the outcome of what would happen to Andrei otherwise. This book is full of twists and turns and the backstabbing and secrets throughout the book make the book incredibly original and engaging. I loved the characters in this book and the growth that Jamie and Andrei go through. I would definitely read this book again, it is that good.

Their families were bitter enemies but they were lovers!
by sewsummore

Andrei was the head of the Russian Mafia when he was betrayed and found himself in the hands of the Italian Mob. Jamie was the daughter and heir of that same mob. Two people who should never become attracted to each other, much less fall in love. It was due to love that She was able to save him from being sold and instead was able to help him in the end. This was a dark romance, full of tense situations and violent behavior. Andrei was a man taught to ignore emotional feelings but he fell for the Italian Princess and refused to give her up.

Loved this dark twisted tale.

Andrei is the head of the Russian Bratva and ends up being betrayed by one of his own men. He's sold at a slave auction to the Irish Mafia boss, who buys him for his daughter's photography project and then he plans on torturing and killing him as a message to the Russians. Jamie is the Irish Mafia princess, but she really hates the way things are run in her Family. The more she gets to know Andrei during her shoot, the more she falls for him. This is a dark twisted tale that reminds me a little of Romeo and Juliet, mafia style!!! Loved this story and I highly recommend it!

This book was simply amazing! Nicole Fox at her best! Andrei and Jamie had scorching hot chemistry! Andrei Bakhtin is the don of the Russian Bakhtin Bratva. After having a meeting with the head of the Irish mob, Cormac O'Gallagher, things go off the rails. Andrei's second-in-command throws him under the bus. Cormac and the Irish mob take Andrei captive. He is to be auctioned off to the highest bidder to do with what they please. Jamie O'Gallagher, Cormac's daughter, talks her dad into sparing Andrei to use in her photography project. Her father agrees but only on borrowed time. But soon things start getting complicated between Andrei and Jamie. It's not just a project after all. This book is a must read and I highly recommend!

This story unfolds nicely, starting with a simmering attraction between Russian boss Andrei and Irish princess Jamie that should not go any further. The 2 mafia families have an uneasy work relationship and some serious trust issues. What happens when Andrei is wounded and delivered to his enemy? Will Jamie be his death or his salvation? There is plenty of suspense, violence, drama and passion to keep the pages turning. A well-written story with a good plot and multi-layered & likable characters. It is a dark romance, so be warned - bad things happen to good people, too. Nicole Fox delivers excellent entertainment consistently!

A must read

I don’t know where to start. This has been by far the best book I’ve read in a very long time. The storyline was extremely captivating and I simply could not put it down. I loved both the hero and the heroine. Their characters were well developed and I felt like I knew them and understood why they were the way they were. I loved that they both had strong personalities and complimented each other. Andrei and Jamie are by far my favourite couple so fair. Initially I was little annoyed that Andrei was keep captive for the majority of the book but Nicole pulled it nicely together showing normalcy for the couple outside of his captivity. A must read and reread. Just love it.

Andrei, the head of the Bratva was double crossed and now finds himself being auctioned off. Jamie, the daughter of the head member of the Irish mob just wants to focus on her photography. When she is at an auction, she spots Andrei and realizes what she needs to do. Her next presentation will include Andrei but Jamie isn't prepared for what happens next. Getting the "Beast" ready for her presentation requires a lot of time together. Andrei is out for blood, not only for the things he has had to endure but also for Jamie.... Such a good read! Action, drama, suspense and so much more! Loved this story and the characters.

DARK EXCITING PERFECTION!
Intense and so darn irresistible. Hooked from the first page. This story was definitely one of my top favorites by this author. The story is dark, intense, crazy attention grabbing twisted, witty, exciting and an absolute head turner that had me doing a retake to make sure the words I read were definitely in fact as crazy twisted and shocking as the first time I read them. A whirlwind of shock filled secrets and betrayal with Hot as Sin yummy chemistry. I loved this story and all the excitement and emotions it put me through. It's perfection that has to be read again and again.

I received an arc for an honest review. This book brings us Jamie and Andrei. Jamie's father is part of the Irish Mafia, and Andrei is part of the Bratva. After they meet, there is a kind of connection, but they go on their way. However, Andrei can't stop thinking about Jamie. However, they really don't think that they will be able to be together. Andrei is being held captive by Jamie's father - who is not a nice man - the things that he endures are unimaginable. However, will their love be able to withstand everything in their way? You MUST read this book. This does end on a cliffhanger - I highly recommend this book.

I love this book. I was captivated from the start. I loved how complex the characters were in their personalities, their banter, expectations, mannerisms and more. It was so refreshing to see the man in a predicament and the woman calling the shots. I had to giggle at that for a moment. Picturing how hard that had to be for Andrei. This book is packed with action, secrets, betrayal, desire and hope for love and a HEA. A DEFINITE MUST READ! So good I read it in one sitting!!! I can not wait for the next book! I really enjoyed this read. The storyline is about Andrei who’s a Bratva boss. Andrei meets Jaime, an Irish daughter of the boss Cormac. They have that instant attraction when they meet for the first time in a bar but Andrei is captured and put in a cell. Andrei’s second-in-command sold him out and now he’s placed in an auction. Jaime begged her father to buy him for her photography project titled, The Beast. They had some chemistry together and the story of two unlikely people from different worlds took place.

This is a different kind of Bratva story. The Boss gets sold out and gets bought by the daughter of the Irish Mob. Andrei is betrayed by his second in command. Jamie is the daughter of the Irish Mob and talks her father into letting her buy Andrei "the beast" at an auction for her photography project. Their journey to fraught with lots of intense and dramatic action. The characters will not leave you indifferent to their plight. Does it ever work out for the Russian and the Irish Princess? Read the story and find out. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
