A First Guide to Baby Signing

Rate this book
"Talk with your baby before baby can talk with you." a complete guide is an innovative addition to the successful amazing baby[trademark] range of books. Amazing baby[trademark] and TinytalkUK believe that language helps us to make sense of our world. Babies understand so much before they can talk. Reading books together and using sign language encourages early word play - babies that understand and are understood are happy babies! Sign language provides a way for babies to tell others what they want and what they are thinking about.

A quick and easy guide to teaching yourself and your baby sign language. Signs include hungry, pain, milk, hug, and playtime. I would recommend this to any parent interested in using signlanguage to communicate with their baby as most of the signs are intuitive and therefore easy to remember.

Doesn't spend as much time talking about the whys and hows, is more of a visual dictionary. Instructions are easy to follow with plenty of pictures, and my baby liked flipping through the book with me and seeing all the children and babies on the pages.
