Special thanks to the publishers for sending me this free copy.

This story was as formulaic as any sex book is. There's a flimsy back-story added mostly in the prologue and epilogue. The female protagonist's greatest strength in this book is being able to telepathically call her also-gifted lover for help and to tell him how to use his power more effectively because the knowledge just "came to her". I'm not one to champion that women have to be stronger than men in books (especially physically)

This is the first novella in the Trilogy of 'M'. It sets the scene for the strange happenings in Claresholm, Alberta and introduces you to Kiera, the young professional that has always had a clear path to follow but suddenly finds her plans skewed by an irresistible attraction to an RCMP Sergeant. To complicate her plans further, her life is in danger and there is no rational reason as to why she is the target of a hitman. The story is fast paced and works to make you wonder what is going on in ...more

Marlene was so very talented in many areas. Her family was her priority, and being with her children and grandchildren gave her much joy. Her brilliant smile came so easily when she talked about them. She was a steadfast friend, a good listener, able to provide a different perspective and always ready for a fresh adventure and some laughs. Once she formed a friendship with you, you knew she had ...more
