This is a cute story about a naughty dog who likes to hide things in the closet. The lift-the-flap feature of the pages makes the reader guess what it is that Jack has hidden, and we guessed wrong a couple of times, so it's not too obvious.

The narrative is short and is likely to appeal most to very young children, but we enjoyed reading it too. The illustrations are colorful and cartoonish and complement the narrative nicely.
