This book was awesome. MJ has knocked it out of the park with this hero. He is my new book boyfriend! Ill be honest, I went into this book with trepidation. I have loved many of her books but there are a few I can not do because of the male characters behaviors. There is not to fear here, but all of the feels. Brand knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that Kiki/Katy was meant to be his. His unwavering belief in this is what saved their relationship. He wasn’t perfect when a little younger, but he realized at 16/17 that what he felt for her was real and not just just a crush. He was completely faithful to her then and saved his big first for her. All of this time, Kik/Katy would act like she hated him with every sight. She kept her feelings under wraps under the illusion that he had feelings for her sister (because of a childhood incident). She subconsciously saved her firsts for him, because no one ever compared. I loved that we got to follow so much of their (bumpy) journey. No triggers really other than the crudeness that flows naturally in the “Steel” family. I can’t wait for the next book!

I was so very happy to have a chance to read this book! I've read the three Falcon brothers and starting with the gorgeous Steel brothers.
This book is about the second generation of Steel and Falcon children/young adults. Brandon/Brand Falcon is Garrett and Juliana son, he's always been gifted with music. He is now a famous country music singer. Katherine Steel has had a crush on Brand since she was a little girl.
As their lives go on their separate ways, Katherine still has feelings for him. The Steel family are close, and every year they have reunions at the Falcons summer lodge in Lake Hopatkon, NJ. This year Brand Falcon is invited to it. Which of course makes Katherine very happy. It also makes Brand notice just what a beautiful young lady his Katy is. Lots of firsts happen during this very memorable and painful for Katy week.
This is a well written and very sweet story of first love and second chances. This story is so beautiful, emotional, witty and romantic. There are plenty of surprises in this story and some very steamy love scenes.
I loved the secondary characters and especially the first generation characters. I recommend reading the Falcon and Steel books, even though each book is a standalone, it's an amazing series! I'm still happily catching up and loving it! M.J. Fields is so amazingly good with her storyline and characters!

Brand Falcon will make you swoon hard. This book will give you all the feels. Truly an amazing read. I absolutely love every Steel character (Forever Steel) and Brand & Katy are a couple that will have you glued too your kindle. Truly a phenomenal read that everyone must one click.

Omg!!!! I loved this. I want no I need more Kiki and Brand! The crew is awesome. Truth was pretty bad*s*! I love the loyalty of the crew too. Well done MJ. I have a few great scenes. And Luna that girl stole every scene she was in!

What a joy it was to see the original Steel family and my main man Jace. It was also a joy to watch him squirm as his daughter Katherine sends his world into a tailspin as she begins her romance with Brand. Oh I had so much fun watching him and watching Carly try to reel in her husband's temper as he deals with the fact that his daughter is no longer a little girl, and is having sex! My how the tides have turned and a bit of Karma comes back to bite him in the butt. Gotta have an alpha male cursed with daughters, just to throw back into his face his evil ways when he was a young stud. So much fun.
But this is Katherine and Brand's story and what a wonderfully written story this was. The banter that brought a smile to your face between the originals is back and now it is the next generation to bring that to life. Katherine is her mother's daughter but don't count out the Jace genes in this one. She is beautiful, smart and sassy, and now she's in a bit of a pickle (or maybe she's craving pickles). Coming clean to her family is hard, but she has to in order to get her cousin out of hot water. Now, the question is, will she tell Brand and how will he take this news.
Well, Brand, the hot as all get out Country sensation that is sweeping the world as well as the charts has always had his eye on Katherine. Since they were children, he knew that she was meant to be his and now that they are of age, he will make her his one day. But it seems that that one day is coming quicker than he had planned and he is not one bit upset about that. She is his, now he just has to get her onboard with that plan. As their love grows and their lives begin to change and the families move so that the kids can attend another school, Katherine and Brand begin to move forward with their relationship. Brand is such an endearing young man and you will definitely find yourself falling for him as well.
I have always loved this family and when Mama Joe shows up, the family is complete and the family norm is right where it is supposed to be. I am so excited about this next chapter in the Steel family and I cannot wait to read more of the next generation. There are definitely some open ends in this particular story that will have you biting your nails to get the answers to, to see how things turn out.
I cannot recommend this book highly enough.

This story was everything I wanted and so much more. I love M.J. Fields and I love the Steel family. When I first ventured into the world of Romance Books, Ms. Fields was one of the first authors I had the pleasure of reading. I love every second of M.J.’s books and stories. I love getting lost in her words.
This story was everything. I love Kiki. I love her sass. I love her need to be out of the shadow of her older sister. I love that has held true to her love of Brandon Falcon for all these years. I love that she tries to no give in to that love. But that’s easier said than done. Brandon Falcon is a big time country music star. But while he’s portrayed as one thing he’s honestly the same boy he’s always been. I love that about him. He could have let fame get the better of him, but he doesn’t. Brand is everything I was hoping he would be an so much more.

Get ready for the swooniest book boyfriend basically ever in Brand! That's right, the swooniest. These two have been fated since the start, and trust me, Kiki and Brand are everything you hoped for and more!
I could not have loved Kiki's character more! She's so Jase it's perfect! She's sassy and strong, and everything you'd expect for a girl raised by Jase and Carley. The emotion and swoon factor packed into this book is undeniable and totally addicting! Do not read any spoilers, and go in blind! I didn't even read the blurb, knowing it would be amazing, and loved the surprise.
Branded Steel can be read as a standalone, but in my opinion a knowledge of the series makes it more enjoyable!

I love me some Steele men and their families. I was so excited to get this book about Katy and Brand in my hands. I loved their characters from the start and enjoyed each of the family members we had a chance to reconnect with. Looking forward to Truth’s story.

Branded Steel is Book 2 in the Steel Crew series by M.J. Fields. The series is about the 2nd generation of Steel offspring. In this book, we get the 2nd generation of Steel & Falcon offspring. Brand(Brandon) Falcon is Garrett & Juliana's son. He's now this famous country music singer. Kiki (Katherine) Steel is Jase and Carly's daughter. Kiki has had a major crush on Brand since she was little.
Fast forward to present time and Kiki is 18 yrs old and Brand is 20 yrs old. The road to their romance is bumpy and paved with heartbreak and hope.. such an emotional rollercoaster. One weekend everything that looked and felt so right, one word turned everything so very bad. Feelings were hurt, certain people quit talking and what was becoming a very good thing quickly was a thing of the past.
Was it recovered? Who loved who first? Did Kiki or Brand do the repairing to the relationship?
This was a touching, passionate, heartbreaking, spicy sweet , smartly written and romantic romance that will touch the reader's heart. #ForeverSteel

The second book in the series was a bit better overall in the plotting and storytelling, I think than the first book, but worse in some very uncomfortable and troubling ways. I liked Katy and I liked Brand sometimes. However, Brand's obsession with her sexually from when she was a preteen 9 year old (and he was 12) and his collection of underage pictures of her that he has on his phone for self love time was disturbing to me. The way he admits that his first sexual attraction was to her as a 9 year old just creeped me out and it was hard to see him as loving more than obsessed. They don't have any kind of physical sexual connection (except in Brand's mind a lot) before she is 18 but the creep factor is just off the charts once we start hearing about Brand's brand of love during his 9 years of waiting for her. Katy/Keke was not immune to Brand and had crushed on him for years as well, but hers was much more age appropriate and way less problematic.
Now, as much as I didn't like Brand's obsession with her, the first time sex scene they had was pretty accurate and super unusual because of it. But, the author skips the aftermath of the issue and we have no idea how Katy handled the situation and why Brand seemed to have no clue why she wouldn't talk to him and blocked him on all social media afterwards. Skipping that part was a huge disservice.
Jase seemed like less of an asshole in this one although he had his moments. I found it impossible to believe he would tattoo Katy when he did. That's a big no-no and he would know that. I'm also wondering why this author has so much anal sex phobia. She has all kinds of innuendo about it in both of these books and the fact that Jase doesn't get any is more than kids should probably know about their father (or he should know about his daughters).
Finally, this book ends before the payoff and I was annoyed by that. I'm assuming we'll get some closure in the next book, but as a side spectator it's not going to be nearly as satisfying.
The next book is Truth and right now she is a junior in high school and super prone to peer pressure. I hope these book are not going to trend even younger to finding their "true love" and that it jumps ahead.

An mmkay 3 stars... again, but to be fair...
I'd said I could like this series, and apparently I do. Here's why:
-The "Forever Steel" clan!
I mean, this family, especially the overactive, original alpha-male, overprotective fathers are both a joy and a riot.
-The love relationships, both main couple's love journeys and the ties among the family and friends are very warming. And the girls get the "fairy tale," complete with overprotective, strong and love-swept alpha men.
The hang-ups?
(some elements "fell" into place a little too handily, and the continuing series teases "complexity" but never reaches that level due to the motif of "finding your true love," apparently very young, and the Steels finding the love of their lives, who, by-the-way, have to pass the "Steel Family-Test" in order to survive).

I’m loving everything about this second generation of Steel kids, I loved their parents stories and I’m loving seeing where this amazing group of friends and family are finding themselves down the track.
The kids are really not kids anymore but like most parents they still see them as their babies and find it a hard pill to swallow when they find their own love and look to settle down.....
This is Brand and Kiki’s story and they are a couple you will fall in love with, he has the same protective traits the men before him have and she is as strong and as sassy as any Steel woman who has gone before her. Brand has always known she should be his and he is willing to do whatever is needed to make Kiki understand the crush she has had for so long is a mutual feeling..l....
This is a beautifully written love story that takes you on a journey and like all journeys sometimes we have bumps in the road, it’s emotional, it entertaining and it’s witty and I loved everything about Branded Steel. Ms Fields has certainly given us some amazing tales with this group of family and friends and this is a perfect addition to one of my all time favourite series. Looking forward to more

I thought I knew what to expect. This is Brand after all. Precocious child and I knew he had to be out going and in your face as an adult. Holy cow! Shut the front door! Do the hokey pokey and turn yourself right around because you are going to LOVE this story! Steel fans will be swooning over the whole book. MJ packed in every last member of the family and let us catch up on their lives.
And then there is the tension between Kiki and Brand. These two are destined to be together. They just need to overcome some obstacles at first. Kiki's dad and uncles being a huge part of that. I loved these two for each other. They were perfect. Once the whole story was told, I just knew that they were in it for the long hall. Kiki is a kick a$$ young lady like her momma. Brand will be your next book boyfriend hands down. Such a good soul and open heart.
I love all the Steel stories but this one will rank pretty high up there. Patiently waiting to see what Justice and Patrick are getting in to. Great job once again by this author!

I absolutely love MJ’s take on the next generation Steel, these ‘young adults’ are awesome!
The 2nd gen. started with ‘Tagged Steel’ which was Bella’s story (the eldest of Jase Steel) - this book is Kiki’s story (Katherine Anne - 2nd eldest of Jase & Carly’s) and these only get better.
Kiki is sooo sassy and tough, but I feel has an ‘old’ soul, now 18 and just a few months away from finishing high school, she has been ‘in love’ with Brandon Falcon since she was 3yrs old, when she saw him serenading her sister Bella at a family wedding. Whilst 20yo Brand has become a famous Country singer and only got better with age.
They’ve seen each other over the years and Kiki’s feelings have never changed, but believing Brand always had ‘a thing’ for Bella, she didn’t do anything about her feelings, then meeting up together at the Steel annual summer trip to the Beach, sparks fly.
Both Kiki and Brand are easy to love, but h€ll did MJ put me through the wringer, I cried, I got angry and I laughed - a lot!

WHAT THE HECK?!
I feel like I just got sucker punched in the feels. And I’m not exaggerating. MJ said Kiki & Brand were next level, but I could have never expected this. They’re pretty neck and neck with Bella & Tags 😱😍
It takes a lot for me to give a 5 star rating, if I really like something I usually give a 4 cuz there’s always room for improvement. Not this one. My only issue is that the story is over.
I need like 2 more Kiki & Brand books. I want to know every detail!
If you love the Steel fam, you’re going to lose your mind over Kiki’s story!

I loved Katy and Brandon! I loved that each of them have loved and longed for each other forever and neither knew! What I didn't love was some drama with momma Carly with no resolution, the lead into the next book with Truth but nothing specific and no real wrap up to Katy and Brandon. Maybe their story carries over into the next book? Let's hope some answers are awaiting me. This is an amazing series with heat, heart, love, family both of love and blood! Brandon and Katherine's story was a good read, but I didn't love it as much as I did Bella and Carter's story. I enjoyed both the main and side characters and this story was just as steamy and funny as the last story. However, there was just something about this story that stopped me from loving it as much as the previous book. I wish there was an epilogue that wrapped this story up nicely with the newest addition to the family and I think that's what was missing from this story for me. With that being said, I'm still looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Continua la serie, e questa volta conosciamo meglio Katy e Brandon. Katy è da sempre cotta di lui, ma anche arrabbiata perché è convinta che lui sia innamorato della sorella Bella. Niente di più falso perché lei non conosce tutta la storia.
«È come suo padre, quella lì. La vita non sarà mai noiosa. Ti sfiderà ogni giorno, forse ogni ora.»
Gli anni passano e crescono con consapevolezze diverse, lui ha occhi solo per lei, ma lei non capisce nulla.
Si ritrovano al solito raduno familiare dove partecipa anche lui e finalmente tutto esce allo scoperto. Katy e Brandon sanno nei loro cuori che il loro è un amore cresciuto nel tempo nonostante entrambi non lo mostravano. In quell'occasione le loro vite cambiano, le loro scelte si devono modificare. Tutto cambia e loro si ritrovano a dover affrontare i nuovi cambiamenti. La famiglia Steel è sempre presente, tutti si aiutano e si trasferiscono per iniziare una nuova vita.

Una storia molto dolce, molto romantica, una bella scrittura e due bei protagonisti da conoscere. Ora non ci resta che attendere la prossima storia.

The story has secrets, passion, surprises, and heartbreak. I was pulled right into this story. The story flowed well, and I was kept interested.
This is Katherine and Brand’s story. If you have read MJ before chances are you know the Steel family. You should also know Jase. Katherine is Jase and Carly’s daughter. So, you will know some about of each of them in this story. But to know the Steel family you know how they treat their woman and will not stand for anyone they love to be treated wrong. So, when something happens with Katherine Jase goes completely alpha. What he must understand is his daughter is all grown up and can take care of herself. She just had to figure out if Brand is down with the news she has. Brand has wanted her forever, so her news is only going to move up his plans closer. But with him being a huge star will take effect how this is going to all play out? Do they really have a future?
I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I could connect with the characters and the story was a great read.
I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for the next story from this author.

I could not put this book down!!
This next generation of books so far has been over-the-top amazing. So far Kiki and Brand are my favorite.
Kiki is a head strong girl that know what she wants. One night of fun changes everything and not necessarily for the worst either.
Brand is hot country singer, and alpha when needed. He has known what he wanted but knew he had to wait. What happens when he get what he wants and then gets shut out?
Brand and Kiki have a love hate relationship. They also have many ups and downs because of family. However, everything they do is meant to be the right thing for all of those around them. Kiki is very loyal to her family and has to make a really hard decision when it comes to her future, will it be the right one?
This book sucked me in from the very beginning and didn't let me go until the very end. M.J. Fields has a way with words that keeps you reading. She is also amazing at incorporating her previous characters that bring the new generation to life. See the original Steel family in this book was over-the-top in the greatest way. The banter between all the characters was extraordinary.

These two, Gah! Brand and Kiki 🥰 I remember the first time Brand was mentioned in Steel Country and he absolutely stole the show for me. I was like, this boy is hilarious and I love him already. Every time he came up in another Steel novel, I wanted more and now he finally gets his story and I couldn't be more happy.
Their story was written in the stars from the get go. Katy has inherited all the Steel sass from her parents and Brand, famous as he was destined to become, is still a true gentleman at heart. He knew what he wanted and never swayed in his life choices.
It's never sunshine and roses without a little drama when it come to the Steel family. They are the tightest extended family unit you will ever meet and second generation Steel are going to be an even tighter bunch. The crew looks out for each other and now they must navigate their way together in a new school. Thank you MJ for gifting us with next generation of Steel. #ForeverSteel

I love the Steel family as have read all their books but hadn't read any of the Falcon brothers series and I loved Brand.
Have to say not having read the falcon series didn't impair my enjoyment of this book at all, I'm not sure if the same would be said if I hadn't read any of the other steel books as being a very big close knit family they feature a lot in each others stories and theres so many of them sometimes a family tree at the beginning of each book would come in handy.
Kiki is like her father Jase and is full of sass, shes had a thing for Brand since she was small but thought he only had eyes for her older sister Bella.
Turns out Kiki couldn't be more wrong and after a huge mix up Brand sets the woo wagon in motion to win Kiki as his.
Loving the second generation steel crew so far and cant wait to read more, hoping Kiki and Brand will show up in some of the upcoming books as I didn't want their story to end and need to know what happens a few months down the line.
