The book of Proverbs is usually referred to as the book of wisdom. 'Wisdom is the biblical term for on-earth-as-it-is-in-heaven. Essential reading that brings an abundance of nourishment to the soul and spirit.
Many call it the 'book of wisdom' and it truly is but it's so much more....
It is a wealth of lessons that remind us to be humble , gracious and as good as we can possibly be. While recognising we are human , it is an ever poignant reminder of how to put the 'kind' back into humankind.
This is a particularly great edition, paperback and really lightweight, large print which is perfect for really highlighting particular verses that speak to you personally.
And there is so much poetry in this that was unexpected and such a nectar.
A book you will keep close by you for comfort and companionship and well worth owning as a standalone from the Bible.
