I've been reviewing these books since the first came out and I've been loving them from start. So, I'm not surprised that I loved this book as well. It took me ages to read it because college put me in such a huge slump, but it didn't in any way affect how I liked the book.

My absolute favorite thing about this series is is Ellery, the floating island. There are just so many interesting things about it, including how other groups of people in this world react to it.
One thing that surprised me is the span (pun not intended) of time this book took place over! I mostly enjoyed seeing what happened in such a long amount of time, but I did also feel like this caused the book overall to feel sligh...more
Wingspan is surprising, emotional and full of moments you just get sucked into it while reading. We get to see how it fares for Kava and Tolliver, for Ledger and Hollis, for Alouette. And you see the struggles and insecurites they live with and there's always someone you can identify with during the story.
