An adorable story as always. Charly wanted a change but didn’t expect the surprise. Loved it and ready for more.

A fun quick escapist read. The setting cracks me up. Charly’s life coach business wasn’t up my alley but it worked well with the plot. Some nice topical references there too (ahem, Aunt Becky).

This is the first book that I’ve read of the Cat’s Paw Cove series and I think I will read some others in the near future. A cute read though I did wish it was longer.

My copy was provided by NetGalley for review all opinions are my own.

I really have to thank NetGallery because I would never have found this wonderful book and delightful series! I was intrigued by the idea of a life coach for ghosts so I decided to check it out. Turns out it is part of series called Cat's Paw Cove that was intended to be a world for multiple authors to play in. This book originally appeared in a collection of Christmas stories (which gets a passing nod in this book) but worked really well as a standalone. I very quickly got a sense of place.

Our heroine Charly gets run out of town at the beginning of the book because she chooses to stand up for integrity and resist bullying. This made me love her immediately. The fun begins when she arrives in Cat's Paw Cove and hangs out with her grandmother in what turns out to be a most unusual retirement home. Quickly she meets "Big D" Dylan. Besides being her real estate agent, he has some supernatural skills. She quickly discovers she does too.

The romance is sweet and takes a back seat to the story of Charly's journey of self-discovery, with Dylan putting his empathic abilities to good use. The big fun is discovering what is going on in this world and the interesting characters that inhabit it. Charly's clients are adorable and Grandma Redbird is an absolute hoot. The narration remains in third person but I felt like I was reading it in first person because of its breezy style. I had so much fun going on this ride.

There is a mystery around Dylan that doesn't get resolved in this book that I'm hoping gets resolved in the companion book Taken by the Imp Imp, which is about Dylan's brother. I'm also going to check out other books in this series.. This book isn't long so pop in for a visit!

This story first appeared in Meows & Mistletoe, a Holiday Anthology and is now being released on its own. I read the story in the anthology, but any time I have a chance to read a Cat’s Paw Cove story I jump at it even if I have already read it. A place filled with talking cats, magical people and fun. If you are not acquainted with this magical place I strongly recommend starting. There is no time like the present when we are all staying home, and no time like the present to read something fun and uplifting.

Charly Redbird is a life coach who refuses to give a millionaire’s daughter a certificate she did not earn. Doing the right thing got her blackballed and she lost her company and her confidence. She chose to go to see her grandmother who is living at the Feline Fine Retirement Home in Cat’s Paw Cove, Florida, and if you are familiar with this series then I don’t have to say anymore. She has hired real estate agent Dylan Graham, an empath and a man with the ability to touch someone and tell if they are supernatural, other than that he has no real powers.

Dylan shows Charly a house no one would even consider since it is across the street from a cemetery, but it comes totally furnished and has everything needed. Charly jumps at the chance to own this home she calls Furever Home not knowing that the cemetery across the street is not the only problem with this house.

Charly learns about some of her abilities, one of which is seeing ghosts, and one turns out to be her very first client. She and Dylan are very attracted to each other, but there are things about her life she is about to discover that will change everything she ever knew.

A wonderful story filled with amazing characters and a series I can’t recommend enough.

After spending years building up her life coaching business in Chicago, Charly is blacklisted after she refuses to lie for a client. Jobless and in need of a fresh start, she travels down to her grandmother’s place in the small town of Cat’s Paw Cove, Florida. Her grandmother is living in a retirement community and the residents are… strange. Cats are everywhere and they seem to dominate the landscape. Which is odd, right? Not so much, as Charly is about to find out. With the help of sexy real estate agent Dylan Graham, Charly discovers she’s surrounded by supernatural beings, ghosts, empaths and more. One surprise after another has Charly not sure of anything anymore. Is she going crazy or has she finally found her calling?

I’m a huge paranormal romance reader and when I heard Sharon Buchbinder had a new release, I inhaled it. I connected with Charly right away. She’s going through a lot and in need of some guidance. Enter Charly’s outgoing, spunky grandmother. With humor, sage advice and a little mystery, she nudges Charly in the right direction. The romance between Charly and Dylan is so sweet. My heart swelled reading their attraction and falling in love. The scenes with the cats were pure magic and I loved every minute of it. When I reached the end, I pouted a little because I wanted to stay in Cat’s Paw Cove longer.

Blending cozy mystery, paranormal romance, cats, plus ghosts in a quaint small town, Charlotte Redbird, Ghost Coach is a must-read.

Fun story. When Charly and her code of ethics runs up against a rich woman who will stop at nothing to get her daughter into Harvard, Charly's dream career goes down in flames. Determined to get her life back on track, she heads for Cat's Paw Cove and her grandmother. Local real estate agent "Big D" helps her find the perfect home, albeit one that has a few more quirks than she expected.

I loved both Charly and Dylan. Charly has a magical talent that she is unaware of until she gets to the Cove - she doesn't just see ghosts, she can also talk to them. This comes as quite a shock to her when she makes the acquaintance of the former residents of her new home. Once she recovered from that shock, I loved the way that she put her talents as a life coach into helping Marjorie and Cecil find their way back to each other. I ached a little bit for Dylan, who believed that his magical contributions were quite minor. Personally, I think a man with the gift of empathy is pretty darn special. Add in his ability to sense magic in other people, and I thought he was pretty talented. I did feel bad for him when Charly overreacted to his empathy, but fortunately, she moved past that pretty quickly. I liked how he supported her through all of the revelations about her life and family. The sparks between them were intense and amplified by Dylan's talents. I liked how they came together at the end.

I thoroughly enjoyed the assorted residents of the retirement home and their interactions. The scene with the loud music and the hearing aids was hilarious, as was the "courtroom" scene with Charly's father. I also loved the cats, from Charly's kittens to the ones that served as enforcers.

This is an enjoyable and heartwarming tale. Charly, the main character, is a life coach who encounters a confrontational meeting with a highly influential client, Meredith Maddox. Mrs. Maddox then begins spreading slanderous rumors about Charly’s work ethics which cause Charly to lose potential clients, resulting in a loss of financial income. Charly then decides to move to Cat’s Paw Cove, Florida, where her grandmother resides in the charmed Feline Fine Retirement home. Here, Charly not only finds new friends with unique and mystical qualities and learns things about her past, but more importantly finds love.

The author writes with lots of dialogue between the characters keeping the reader engaged. It’s a story of trying to move on after a career struggle – staring a new career and making new friends - while also learning about your family history, and finding a new and exciting love. The author’s subtle inclusion of feline rule as well as their companionship and love, is an added bonus to pet lovers.

I highly recommend this read! It is so creative, well written and thoroughly entertaining. Add to that each character’s magical powers and supernatural capabilities, and how they relate to one another in the overall tale. It is a charming, lighthearted, story with a touch of playful romance, nestled in a magical town with feline love and mischief.

I want to retire in Cat's Paw Cove. This mystery revolves around a magical menagerie of characters. It's mostly Charly and Dylan's, though. She's a life coach needing a change and he's the real estate agent that finds her the perfect home. Or is it?
This charming little village is full of magical denizens. Just wait until you meet Marjorie, she's a blast! The feline population is so much more than faithful, furry friends.
This is the second Cat's Paw Cove book for me and both by Sharon Buchbinder. I definitely want to check out more. If you need a light and breezy break from the real world, then this is a perfect place to unwind.

This is a unique series that centers around a retirement home for supernaturals. This novella centers on Charlotte, the granddaughter of one of the medicine women at the cat retirement home. Charlotte is a life coach trying to start over after her career took a nosedive in Chicago. Big D (Dylan) is the local realtor and helps Charlotte find a house in town. Romance blossoms between the two, Charlotte does a little life coaching to some local ghosts, and she finds out that not only is the town full of supernaturals, but she will fit right in with them.

I really like the concept of this one, but novellas are always tough since they are limited by space. The story does feel rushed, and some areas needed a bit more development (the romance, her relationship with her dad). The background story about the supernatural cat retirement home is very unique, and I'd like to read some of the other novels in the series to really get a handle on this world.

Thank you to Net Galley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was a charming, funny short story about how you can't pick your paranormal family and sometimes weird makes the best friends. Charlotte came to Cat 's Paw Cove to start fresh with her grandmother. We learn that not everything is as it seems. Florida is known as the Weirdness State, so it seems apropos for this story to take place there.

There is suspense, drama and secrets revealed, as Charlotte learns the ins and outs of Cat's Paw Cove Retirement Home. Her gifts get a supernatural upgrade, and soon she's changing lives. I loved this story and how laugh out loud funny it was! Edited flawlessly, it was a dream to read in one sitting. Even if you're not a cat lover, you won't help but get taken away by this small town supernatural story with love at its core message.

This is a cute little book that can be read in one sitting. It is the 12th in the Cat’s Paw Cove Series but can be read as a stand-alone. This is the first book I’ve read in the series and I had no problem. Charly’s is a life coach and had her career ruined by a nasty rich woman in Chicago. She came to Cat’s Paw Cove to be near her Grandmother who lives in a retirement home. Big D is a real estate agent and an empath. He is a friend of her grandmother’s and sells Charly a house. She finds out the house is haunted and starts seeing ghosts. There are bigger secrets in store for Charly though and Big D is there to help her.

This great short read was so funny it had me laughing the whole way through. I have to say, I didn’t expect there to be a supernatural aspect to it, but it turned out to really add to the story. This was a really great novel that made for an enjoyable and uplifting read.

A nicely written cute, cozy, paranormal (in a fun way) and magical novella. Lots of cats and some romance. I'm not a great lover of books featuring magic & ghosts etc, but I know many readers will enjoy this story. My thanks go to NetGalley and the publisher for the eARC.

Another cute, little fun addition to the Cat's Paw Cove series. Charly is a life coach, who had some unfortunate things happen, and it lead her to Cat's Paw Cove. Here she discovers so much, including the supernaturals around her, and even finding love. A delightful little read, that I enjoyed.

I received this Arc from netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
um.. I think I just liked this book. I have been reading a lot of cozy mysteries lately so I was excited to try this one out but but it kind of fell flat for me. It wasn't a bad book by an means, and I actually really liked the beginning where Charley was talking to a guy who she didn't know was a ghost at the horse races and he helped her win a bunch of money. Also when she traveled to visit with her grandma at the retirement home, which was nice and quirky. I really liked her grandma and Big D. who is a real estate agent that sells her a house. although I do think calling him Big D was kind of dumb. I liked that Charley could see ghosts and is trying to help them move on. But the rest of it felt like I was dropped into the middle of a series. Which I guess it is, i didn't realize that when I read it until I read someone elses review.
I do think it was a pretty good book, just not for me.

*I received an arc from NetGalley for exchange of my honest review.

A really cozy and warm read. If you're in a reading slump or want to read something cozy and entertain, this is the book for you. I won't tell you more than the blurt of the book, because I think it is enough information and you will enjoy it more going without knowing more. Both characters Charly and Dylan are so sweet. Also, cats parts in here are so cute.

~ ARC received from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review ~

This book had everything I was searching for a relaxing afternoon.
I will not repeat the plot description as it has everything you need to know before diving in. The one thing I need to mention is that the paranormal hinted in the description is not the only one present.
I liked Charly, a strong and funny woman with a very realistically evolution.
I'm looking forward to read what happens next.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Author Collective 20 for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone. Really odd, I felt as if I had already read this! Not sure what is up with that. This is a cute story, seemed short to me. I totally did not get the family dynamics! But Charly and Dylan were cute. 3 stars Probably not for everyone.

A super light fun paranormal romance. When Charlottes career is ruined by a vindictive celebrity mother, she is forced to move to Cat's Paw Cove to stay with her Grandmother. A town that has a secret. Romance, family secrets, lots of cats, ghosts to death coach because how can you life coach a ghost. I loved the story, the characters, the setting, basically everything, Who wouldn't love bingo for medical devices. The romance is light and fun and mostly clean. The narration is perfect for the story, light and easy to listen to with a nice range of good accents. Highly recommended for a light, quick, fun read. I received a complimentary copy and am leaving a honest voluntary review
