Sunsets have their own logic. The cosmos follows rules, but the timing of the last sliver of heathered lilac light is always a mystery. It feels almost magical. We predict sunsets at clock times we identify with scientific precision, but that may not be at all how it appears to the human eye.

Meli Raine is honestly one of my favorite author's. Her books are always SO damn entertaining. Well written. Full of twists and turns. Mystery. Intrigue. Betrayal. Secrets. And this trilogy is shaping up to be another outstanding read. I can't wait to get my hands on the final book in December. 👍👍

My Lord! Pass me my blood pressure pills.........because Traceless was hard to read!! Hard because I was racing through chapters. I just simply couldn't take it. I NEEDED to page turn faster that I could literally read!! Meli Raine has written chaos!! Pure and utter crazy! And I love it!!!
I still can't believe the words I've just read! What a story...twists...turns..lies...deceit. I'm floored. Her writing blows me away with each new book. The feels. I get lost in her words.
Kina is so strong, she has to be. Sometimes I'm not sure how she even gets through her life in the compound. Stateless has trained them all well. To Deceive and lie. But Callum never stop surprising me. I think he's my favorite of her Hero's. He's got so much lose, and truthfully more to gain than he realizes.
Sooooooooooooo many action packed scenes in this book! Obsessed with this series! Give me more.
This series is a must read. And Traceless is a 5 star and beyond.

I have to admit I am a little disappointed in this series as I am finding myself not connecting to it which saddens me as I have loved the previous three series before this book starting with A Harmless Little Series. It could be because the characters were trained to be emotionless soldiers and be assassins but this book's characters feel stilted and hard to connect with as they feel like Zombies every time they try to have a conversation and all their encounters are plain awkward. At least Romeo had a little bit more feeling and human energy to him as he was one of the Stateless soldiers. In Traceless, Callum soon discovers that the guy he has been hunting down and was set to kill is, in fact, the older brother he has just discovered and was trying to find , but can he disconnect from the job he has trained his whole life for and gain the ability to finally have a family. Kina has spent her whole life thinking she was useless and all she was good for was looking after the babies, but she soon learns that her own twin sister Glenn was the one who has made it impossible for her to get out into the field. Can Kina believe that Glenn has the capability to be an evil villain or will Kina still try and hold out some inkling of hope that her twin sister would never sabotage her like this? Near the end of the book, we watch as the compound is attacked and burned but as this is happening - it seems it could be an inside job. Who would destroy the program and why and in Kina's words - will someone think of the children as what is going to happen to all those babies and toddlers? I am now in two minds about reading Book #3 but I probably will as in to see if this series overall will finally get a conclusion of what has been trying to be covered up all these years or if we will find ourselves with yet another spin-off trilogy. This series should only be read if you have read her series Harmless, Shameless and Fake. The Stateless series is the perfect reads for anyone who loves assassins, thrillers, and politics.

Traceless is the second book in Meli Raine's new Stateless series. You will need to read Stateless before this book to have a clear understanding of what is happening...with that said...WOW...OhMyGod was this book exciting! This book starts where Stateless ended with Kina realizing what happened, her sister Glen, a body and lots of blood!!! This is a page turner I could not stop reading it to find out what happened next...Will Kina and Callum continue to fight the feelings they have for each other or finally give in, are the secrets they find real or is it something that Stateless and the mission want them to believe. Who did the bombing on the compound? This book also ends with a cliffhanger so be prepared for that. I can not wait to read the next book to find out what happens with Callum, Kina and some familiar faces from previous books such as McDuff, Lily and Lindsey. I want to thank Meli Raine for giving me the opportunity to read an ARC of this book.

What! I thought it couldn't get more action, more sinister than it was in Stateless. I should have known better! What I really loved about Traceless is that we're starting to untangle the mess that Stateless made of my mind!! Plus the energy and anticipation level is building and it's nearing the climactic cessation...you can just FEEL the build! Prepare for a chaotic, racing heart because this book is a HUGE BUILD-UP!!! I sure hope you have the final book waiting... i know i do!!
These two narrators can do no wrong in my eyes! I love them together and consistently enjoy their portrayals of the various characters they play. This story is layered and drenched in doubt and misdirection. Joe Arden is Cullum now and I'm slightly obsessed. Andi Arndt is one of the best female narrators out there currently. Her voice always works for the woman she's presenting. She seems to channel them flawlessly. She became Kina... insecure and kind of meek but with this steely spine that comes out when it needs too... and it really needs to in Traceless.

Traceless picks up straight after Stateless and it unravels alot of questions that I had in book 1, making things add up more.
I was lost in this world and that curious addicted to conspiracy theory side of myself was eating it all up, needing more and revelling in how much research Meli would have had to do to get to the places she got too in Traceless.
The only downside to this book is I wanted more from the romance in this book, we are getting there but its not enough, I kinda wanted them to revel into each other and bloom but there mindsets are set in a certain way so even though I understand it I still wanted it

Traceless is the second part of the new ‘Stateless’ trilogy by Meli Raine. It begins right where Stateless ended. Kina and Callum continue to be fabulous lead characters, and with the help of the supporting cast leads us through the twists and turns of this mind-blowing tale. Kina is still a tough, determined heroine and has proven her worth, and Callum is just about the best guy in her world.
But the secrets, the suspense and mystery keep on coming. It’s a thought-provoking tale that has you second-guessing what’s coming next and whooping when you get it right, lol. And cry when you’re wrong, but watch out. This is only the second book in the trilogy and we all know what that means! Yeah, cliffhanger time and this one is something else. Let’s hope the next few weeks go by fast so we can get to the final piece of this puzzle.

Well if you thought book 1 was exciting, wait until you read book 2. Traceless continues where Stateless ended with Kina coming out of an elevation trying to figure out what just happened. There is a dead body, blood, and her sister Glen.
This is just the beginning of trying to figure out who is the good side and who is the bad side. Let's just say there are some real hum dingers of secrets that will be revealed for Kina and Callum which makes them wonder who to really trust.
There are a lot of heart-pounding moments in this book. You definitely need to read Stateless before this book or you will be lost.
I cant wait for the 3rd book to see how everything works out.

This series just gets better and better! We knew that it would be a romantic suspense because the other series were, but you have no clue just how psychological it is going to get. Kina and Callum are starting to see discrepancies with their life and Stateless, things are not exactly how they were described, but will they be able to survive and not be killed?
Y'all!!! Just wow, what a powerful book that packs a HUGE punch. I am freaking in love with Meli Raine and these characters and story. I am SO looking forward to see what the next book has in store for everyone. 5 HUGE stars!!

Kina has so many questions with no answers and her confusion is further increased by her lack of clarity about what had just happened. The one thing she does know if that she trusts Callum but when it comes to anyone else on the compound she has concerns which only makes the ordeal that much more difficult.
Kina and Callum knew the consequences of developing feelings for each other, but some things are worth the risk. The suspense, secrets and twists continue to escalate and leave you wondering what the future could possibly hold for this couple.

The truth finally comes out!!! My goodness, Traceless, has left me gasping at every chapter. I love how the stories between Kena and Callum, and all of the other characters have grown and flourished. Timing and details have been carefully slipped in giving you a view that was unexpected. The ending was unbelievable. Chomping at the bit for the next book.

Traceless is a psychological thriller that keeps you on your toes..keeps you guessing and wondering the "what's next" in the chapter! Page turner, heart palpitations, edge of your seat, can't and wont book this book down..

(audiobook) What a thrilling continuation! The plot thickens–as well as other things, because Kina and Callum’s relationship deepens in this book.
It can be a bit confusing, because there are conspiracies inside the conspiracy… You never really know who’s with whom, and who you can trust. There’s also a lot of action and tension. You can’t be bored while reading this second installment.
As for the romance part of the story, if Kina and Callum are still restrained by years of training, their encounters with people outside of Stateless, but who know about the organization, help them cut their puppet strings one by one, until they start thinking by themselves. That means they no longer think their relationship is forbidden, though they still have troubles expressing themselves. It feels like doomed love, but I hope I’m wrong. At least it’s getting sexy.
Narration is still on point, though there are some sound problems in the male narrator’s parts. Sometimes, it doesn’t even sound like him.
Still a very interesting series, I’m diving right into the third book!

A Series and Second Book That Rivet Readers

The Stateless series Is one of the best treasures I have ever found on free books. I am so glad to have read Stateless, and more than happy to pay a mere 8 dollars to finish the series. Meli Raine is an astonishingly good author who knows how to create amazing circumstances, plot with aplomb, build characters that are spot on and realistic, and she just keeps the reader so engaged, I can't believe I have never read her before! She does an amazing job!
Her Stateless series Is rife with philosophical observation, the ability to truly pick apart the emotions and inner feelings of people with the added gift of understanding why and how people do what they do. Her characters are so beguilingly realistic and you feel as though you know them personally. Her incisive read on political aspects of modern America are truly brilliant as she weaves them deftly into her action-packed novels.
The experience of reading Traceless Is one that I got to enjoy in one sitting, as I couldn't put it down. These books are literary candy that actually has true merit and feeds the reader well, and yet starving for more...

Book 2 in the Stateless series, the story deepens as secrets unfold and new information is uncovered to unravel a deceit larger than Callum and Kina can fathom. As they continue to dissect the lies and discover the facts, their feelings for each other break through their conditioning and strengthen their determination for survival and truth at all costs. Kina may have seemed weak in the beginning, but she’s become something fierce as the suspense and action escalates throughout, and I can only imagine how she’ll use it to her advantage. Callum steps up his game, taking control and action against everything he thought he believed in. Thoroughly captivated, I can’t wait to see how it all plays out, and what becomes of the fate of Stateless and its players.
Listened on audio: Andi Arndt and Joe Arden continue with another great performance on narration. Their ability to heighten the suspense and action, while introducing feelings yet keeping the tone of the story, really delivers a very engaging and entertaining listening experience.
