Great start to a new series. Olivia is a medical student but is forced to leave Earth win a genetic match is found for her among the Mahdfel, an alien race protecting Earth from the Suhlik. She is transported to a mining planet that is under attach when she arrives, Kraev is there to safe her. Plenty of drama, suspense and steam. The story is fast-paced and action-paced. I really liked this sci-fi read.
This was a great story. It was well written and fast paced. The chemistry between the characters was sizzling hot. This book has everything you need to keep you turning pages hot sexy men, steamy scenes and some conflict thrown in. I cannot wait for what this author writes next.

Lots of suspense
Woman whisked off Earth and dropped onto a planet to meet her mate- only to discover the planet is under attack! This is how Kraev begins. Through action and adventure, Kraev and Olivia become friends and more. The action doesn’t stop in this book. Fun jaunt through the stars with alien mates. Nice sidetrack from real life.

As she arrives the Suhlik are attacking and Kraev has to rescue her and keep her safe. Love the romance and sex between these 2 and the ending fits.

Two and a half stars. Med student Olivia cuts her studies short when she is matched to be a mate to an alien. She is whisked away to another planet without even talking to her family. Unfortunately the planet is under attack when she arrives. She and her mate Karev must fight for their lives.

I really enjoyed reading this story. I liked the outstanding world building, you get to see everything from both points of views, all the emotions, and the promise of a future with them.

It has been quite a while since I’ve read such an enjoyable, entertaining alien romance & it is a splendid start to a new series. The story-line & plot is well-written & interesting with some unconventional circumstances, the world building is outstanding. The characters are well-developed & likable, they portray realistic emotions according to the situation they currently find themselves in.

This was an awesome book that I LOVED!!!! I love alien romance stories with hot alpha males and this did not disappoint! This sci-fi romance had plenty of action and thrills, but what really sets it apart is what a sweet, lovable teddy bear the hero was. Our heroine was scared and pessimistic about what her life would be like after being forcibly teleported to her genetic match, but the hero's supportive, sweet attitude, along with his heroic protectiveness, won our heroine over in short order. What a great start to a new series. You get drama, suspense, twists and turns, emotional situations, excitement, surprises, intrigue and so much more. Here she is training to be a doctor and because of a test all women have to take she is off to a planet to be a bride to an alien she doesn't know. And a planet she has never seen. I want to say a few words because I really loved this story by Sonia Nova. Kraev had just the right amount of everything. Kraev is a worthy male and warrior who protects his mate with excellence. I really enjoyed this series opener, showcasing a gal that gets matched to an alien and resents it like crazy. She has plans for her life and this does not even factor in to any of them! So yeah, expect angst and drama, some fab suspense, danger and action, but also a super sweet and patient alien guy that is so thankful to be matched that you can't help but love him. Very exciting story. Starts out with a surprise blood test. Then she is transported to a different world. Very good I could not put the book down and read it through from first page to last in one setting. I loved it. I have read some of the books of the warriors of Rae. This book is the first on the planet R-2841. They have all been very exciting and very well written. I look forward to reading more. I have a bit of a crush....on a horned, blue alien. I've not read any other books by Sonia Nova, but I think she has a new fan. Kraev is passionate, protective, and all-in from the moment he sets eyes on his mate. Olivia is less so, afraid of what she's heard, afraid she'll not see her family, afraid of the unknown. The story is well paced, has some twists and turns, and is really well written. I really enjoyed this first book in the Warriors of Rae series.

This story was very enjoyable to read. I found the romance between Kraev, a Mandrel soldier who found out he has been matched and Olivia ,a medical student who life is change because of being matched and all their trials a delight to read. Kraev and Olivia our main characters,the romantic scenes, the description of the universe, aliens and battles were well written in this romance. This is a good story. The heroine is a medical student forced to give up her schooling and become a bride due to the pact between Earth and the Mahdfel warriors who saved and protect Earth. She is sent to a planet where the Sulath are unexpectedly attacking. Kraev saves her just in time but they Crash and must learn to accept each other. I will not give anymore spoilers. I recommend reading this for a sweet, alien read.
