Repatriate Protocol Box Set Books 7 - 9: Nimisila's Story

The Repatriate Protocol #7-9

by Kelli Kimble

Every child must pay their dues. The first time Nimisila noticed she could read minds, it was with animals. She heard her dog, Chia, ask for food and belly rubs. She heard squirrels chitchatting. She even heard the neighbor’s cat tell her to screw off.

Generations of people, including Nimisila’s parents, received implants to boost their telepathic abilities. However, these implants have since become scarce, and are reserved only for the upper-class elite. Without the aid of an implant, Nimisila is doomed to live in squalor and perpetual hunger, unable to break the vicious cycle of poverty and oppression.

But miraculously, Nimisila has evolved into a natural telepath, and now, everyone wants a piece of her talent. Soon, she becomes the subject of countless cruel experiments, as sadistic researchers seek to use her ability for their own selfish gain.

As Nimisila’s powers grow, so does her fury—and her burning need for vengeance against her captors.

How much torture can one little girl take before she becomes a monster?

Great series

A really well written series. Original enough to set it apart from others that may be similar in some ways. The characters are captivating enough to leave you wanting more.
