Fun and adventure that’s a real page turner.
Swashbuckling , Pirates and Battles , with a romantic , passion filled storyline.
Perfect for those rainy days when you just need a good book.
I really enjoyed this , so good with a great couple who deserved each other and their HEA .
Very well written, it races along at a really great pace and never lacks for enjoyment or entertainment.
One I would recommend to all pirate lovers.

Off the west African coast 1738 You never know where you will wind up in a Pirates of Britannia adventure and this one was definately in an unexpected place!
When pirate Jack "Shadow" Stirling was forced to make land, he knew he needed food and medicine or all his crew would soon be dead from Typhus.
What he unexpectedly finds is a camp with a woman, Lydia Bromley who is helping heal the natives and her brother Alex who is searching out plants to be used for potential medicines.

I love to read something where the good guy isn’t all that he should be, slightly tainted and doesn’t measure up, while the bad guy impressively steps up to the plate and wows me. Such is the case when comparing Alexander Bromley, brother and protector of his sister, Lydia, and Jack Sterling, captain of a pirate ship.
It’s also fun to watch a hardened pirate basically melt at a woman’s feet. Lydia has been much the shadow for her brother, a botanist in a place he should never be and who’s been th ...more

What an adventure I have just been on while reading Maggi Andersen’s Seduced by the Pirate. Her characters are wonderful, the lands traveled to are wonderfully described and this is a real page turning adventure. Pirate Jack Shadow Stirling is a bitter man with no memory of his life except for the life of a pirate. When his crew is dying from a terrible disease, they are forced to anchor off the coast of West Africa, In search of fresh water and food, he stumbles unto the camp of Alex Bromley an

Maggie Anderson is one of the authors that I really enjoy reading.
This story is about a pirate named Jack “Shadow” Stirling the captain of the Golden Orion. He was looking for land to try and get some fruit. Most of his crew was down with typhoid fever.
They found where they could take a canoe inland. There they found a hut where a brother and sister lived.
Alexander and Lydia Bromley were in Africa for Alex to find new species of plants. When the drums started beating it was ...more

Lydia and her brother, Alex, left England to become missionaries on an island. Never once expecting to encounter pirates, she is surprised when Captain Jack and his men find her and demand that she treat his men. Unfortunately, while leaving the island, Alex was murdered by the natives. This left Lydia solely dependent upon a Pirate.

Captain Jack "Shadow"Sterling and his crew of pirates have to limp into shore on the African coast. The ship has been damaged and some of his men are very sick.
Lydia Bromley and her brother have been in Africa studying the plants and the medicinal values of them.
The natives do not take kindly to more "white men" in the area. All of a sudden everyone's life is in danger.
