The key to her "vintage style" is alas vintage fabrics that she buys at second hand stores. With that out of the way, there are some very quilts in here and the back discussing how to quilt, how to mark your quilt for quilting, English paper piecing -- when to use it and when not, make bias binding and how to make corded pipings was well explained. She does not just booster everything but gives the whys and wherefores. The Broderie Anglaise Lavender bags was a nice project but here Miss Roberts was lacking and could have given a few pointers on cutwork. Loved the yo yo floor cushion. Overall she gives good pointers, lots of sound tips, good information, dull projects. Really 3.5 stars.
