The cover and title of this book made me incorrectly assume that this was going to be yoga/meditation/self-care fluff (no offense to either yoga or meditation), but in reality, it’s hard science written for the layperson with a helpful history to guide questions and decision-making. It’s a quick read and will likely be a good reference for me in the future. It is dated (2008) so it is missing recent advances, but the “nuts and bolts” of the biology and therapies are the same. Five stars.
