"Promise me you'll be crazy and wild and impulsive and you won't just sit back and let everything pass you...I want to be sure we don't have a single regret when we get old. Zero."

"I promise to be crazy and not settle down until I'm at least a hundred years old. And have no regrets."

This promise would change everything for Cami, especially after the moment she went off to college. She took it by heart and tried to be the crazy girl she had promised to be. A promise she gav

NO REGRETS is the fourth distinct work of Kate L. Mary's I've read, including the first book in the series (THE LIST), and I'm a huge fan. I've learned I can always expect voicey and complicated characters, strong and sex-positive women, and a fast-paced read when I pick up one of Mary's books. And NO REGRETS did not disappoint.

In THE LIST, we saw Annie and Ryan get together, while Annie's roommate Cami casually dated Ryan's roommate Liam. Now, Cami and Liam get to tell their story.

Cami is an

I received an ARC via Net Galley in exchange for an honest review. This was a profound, heart wrenching story that takes you into the intimate world of innocence, betrayal, guilt, first love and profound loss. Cami is starting college without the one person who has been her other half for most of her life. She is bound and determine to live the college experience with complete abandon for both of them. Her plan soon unravels when she becomes acquainted with a sexy Brit named Liam who has her wan ...more

No Regrets (College of Charleston, #2) by Kate L. Mary BY Kate L. Mary

Really enjoyed this book. So much so that I will be purchasing the prior book in this series called College Of Charleston The List (College of Charleston, #1) by Kate L. Mary . Specially since I of course was intrigued by Annie story. Any ways in this story you meet Cami who is ready to just have fun and really enjoy all that life has to offer as a college student but also has a lot of underlying guilt and then we also have Liam who is the English

Thanks to NetGalley and Kensington Books for letting me receive a digital copy of this book before the official release date.

When they were kids, Cami promised her best friend, Julie, not to let life pass her by. But on Cami's 18th birthday, life hit her head-on, and a devastating car crash left Julie in a coma. Cami blames herself. She should have been focused on the people who mattered most to h

No Regrets is the second book in the new adult (NA) series from author Kate L. Mary entitled College of Charleston and is told along the same timeline as the first book, The List. Cami Summers is an eighteen-year-old college freshman who is up for almost anything and everything and does it all without regret, or so she promised her best friend who lies motionless

This story begins with Cami and her best friend making a promise to each other that they won't waste their youth settling down with just one guy too soon and will live wild and free.

The story then jumps to present time, Cami in college and doing her best to live up to these promises after a horrible accident took her friend away. She is enjoying her college life, doing her best to accomplish all the things she and her best friend said they would do and then she meets Liam.

Liam makes her

**I received a copy of this book from the author. All opinions are my own and not influenced by my source.**

I was looking forward to reading this story because I'm a sucker for the "forbidden" romance trope. Not that this romance was forbidden, more like it was "off-limits".

It took me awhile to like Cami. She's a bit of a rambling person and it makes her come

This is the first book I have read by Kate L. Mary. I thought this book was good. The series is about a group of college students who are trying to work through past troubles and find a way to move forward. In this book, Cami is struggling with a promise that she made to a friend. It was a promise that she did not really want to make in the first place, but then felt she needed to keep after what happened to the friend. The young man she m

I received a copy of this story from Net Galley. Yay books!

Spoilers possible ahead...

Let me start off by saying that this story corresponds with the first one in the series, "The List", which is Annie and Ryan's story. Don't know if it really matters which one you read first...because I didn't read the first one. But there are lost of things that happens in this story between Ryan and Annie that I want to know about.

Truthfully, I would have rather have read about them than what I just read.

Big thanks to Kensington Publishing and NetGalley for an ARC copy for review.

Ever since being introduced to Cami and Liam in The List, I was very curious to know more about these two characters, especially Liam. They both seemed carefree, liked to have fun, and were not looking to settle down with someone anytime soon. But I knew there was more to them than what Annie and we as the readers were seeing. This is a story about dealing loss and heartache, finding peace and finding love unexpected pl

Cami has been struggling with survivor's guilt ever since the accident that left her best friend Julie in a coma. As a result of a pact made when they were fifteen, Cami finds it hard to live her life. When she becomes a freshman, her guilt becomes worse, especially as she knows Julie won't ever experience all the things they planned to do. Cami creates a list, with the help of her shy roommate, and begins to live for Julie.

Let me be clear here. I have read he List (book #1 in the Charleston series) and I was so excited when I got offered this book for a review that I have put all the other books I'm currently reading on hold to read this bad boy. Kate L. Mary did not disappoint on one hand I loved getting a different perspective on the Buttercup-Ryan romance (which I am such a big fun of) and on another I was stoked to find a whole new view on C

No Regrets is a story that follows Cami on her journey to start college and live life the the fullest in honor of her best friend. But when Cami meets Liam, all of that changes for her. She is torn between being wild and crazy and living life, or giving into to her feeling for Liam and to potentially find true love.

I had a hard time with this book. I really liked the concept of the story, and I absolutely LOVED Liam, but Cami just got on my last nerve. I really wanted to like her, but the more

Genuinely good and emotionally charged. Cami's best friend was in a car accident their senior year. Since Julie can no longer live life the way they had always planned, Cami decides to - with no regrets. Afterall, neither one of them wanted to be young and married like Jamie, Julie's older sister, as she was missing out on too much...wasn't she? However, once she joins her cousin Ryan at college, she meets Liam, his hot, British roommate. I didn't always like Cami, but understood her inner turmo ...more

No. I tried. I got 30% into it before calling it quits. I didn't like Cami in the first novel and had a feeling I wouldn't like her story. But I thought I might be wrong, that she wasn't like how she acted when she was thinking, but it was worse.

The thing with Julie is terrible, and Cami is not dealing well with the incident. But it's almost like Cami became child like when it happened, the way she is dealing with it.

The story followed the same time span as the first book. The first few chapters were almost identical to the first book but from Cami's point of view. Cami is living her life for her best friend who is in a coma. She made a promise to love her life to the fullest and to have no regrets. But the things she did caused regrets. She had to get rid of the guilt or her live would end in regret. I liked Cami better in the first book. Her own story didn't really live up to the

I struggled with a rating for this one. Honestly, I did. The characters at times were overly complex and their struggles seemed blown up. But then I realized that many of us feel so complicated and our struggles are to us. But look at someone else's and it seems easy to figure out. I loved Liam immediately - out of reach yet the only one who one really wants. Cami was out of control at times yet just a teen struggling with balancing her feelings.
I gave this a 5 star rating as it made me root fo

first off let me say there were times when Cami drove me crazy and I wanted to slap her, but I can't imagine what losing a friend like that would do to a person so I let her behavior and actions slide. I did also find her quite endearing throughout the book as well.

I loved Liam from start to end. I mean he decided to change and it was Cami he wanted to be with and partially who he changed for

I really enjoyed the first book in this series, but this one, meh.
I don't like reading sequels that happen simultaneously with the first book, but from a different character's point of view. I wish Cami's story had happened sequentially after Annie and Ryan's.
I see that there is a third book in the series, and I hope that it starts right where this one left off!
