Anabel has extreme stomach pains on her birthday. She goes to school just to see Gabriel, the boy she thinks is cute. But her stomach gets worse and she must leave her class and run for the bathroom. And she has a major explosive fart which causes the school to tremble. She is very embarrassed and tries telling her parents and her friend but they don’t believe her. She then Starts using this secret talent to get out of things, like her math test. She causes another fart but this time it’s silent but has an awful odor. Which causes her to be late to Spanish class along with Maddie and Gabriel. The teacher is very mean and makes the pm stay after class. They stay after and the teacher makes them organize her closet which she ends up locking them in. Maddie has an asthma attack and anabel and Gabriel have to find a way to save her.

Some Important parts of the book... Anabel telling people she caused the tremble but them not believing her. Gabriel wanting to be friends even after the fart. Anabel saving Maddie’s life. The Spanish teacher insulting the students.

Conclusion(SPOILERS)!!!!
Anabel uses her secret talent to save Maddie. She farts and the closet door explodes and they rush her to the hospital. They later come back to school and must tell the school what happened. Gabriel dose the expose Anabels secret and wants to be friends with her.

This book would be good for Spanish students sporting to learn more Spanish words.

1. Write a brief summary of the novel. Anabel has her 13th birthday, she has to deal with several cruel teachers, being embarrassed, and her first crush. The first cruel teacher she has to deal with is Señora Gruñones. In the first chapter she has appendicitis.
2. Write about the most important aspects of the book. Anabel has to deal with cruel teachers, embarrassment, appendicitis, and her first crush.
3. Include brief quotes that stuck out to you. The quote that most stood out to me was “El pedo no terminaba.” – this quote stood out to me because of how it was laid out in the book and because of what it meant.
4. Write a conclusion that summarizes everything. Check the spoilers box if you reveal the ending. When Anabel wakes up for her 13th birthday and doesn’t feel good because she had appendicitis, later she met one of the cruel teachers señora Gruñones. She also has to deal with a lot of embarrassment and with her first crush.
5. Who would enjoy this book? Somebody who at least knows a little bit about how to read Spanish and likes a somewhat fast-paced book.

Una heroína improbable is about a 13-year-old girl named Anabel who has an unusual superpower. She was really embarrassed of it when she had to use it in front of her crush to save her classmate. Her crush, Gabriel, didn’t use it to ruin her reputation but asked her to be his friend because he thought that her power was cool.
An important aspect of the book is when Anabel overcame her embarrassment and used her superpower to help her classmate. She found that it would be selfish of her to keep her reputation and not help someone that could potentially die. “Eres una persona diferente.” Anabel was different from other girls. It shows that it’s not bad to be different and you shouldn’t be embarrassed of being different.
This book was fairly easy to read and get the hang of once you begin and is suitable for beginners.

‘Una heroína improbable’ follows a young girl on her 13th birthday as she discovers she possesses a rare superpower. She views this power as a curse after an embarrassing mishap it causes at school. She must find a way to control her power as she navigates her way through complications with her Spanish teacher, a difficult math test, and most importantly her first crush. Find out how she manages each of these obstacles while still managing to find control of her power and using it for an important cause.
“¿Flaterina, quieres salir conmigo?” - It stuck out to me that Gabriel still asked Anabel out after everything that happened. I think this shows that Gabriel genuinely like Anabel for her and didn’t care about her unflattering power.
I think this is a great book for Spanish beginners of a younger age.

The story involved a girl who discovered she had powers at the age of 13. Her power was strange and rare. It was the power of her destructive farting. She ended up saving someone through her farting and it also led to her crush asking her to hang out. So I really liked the ending.

The most important aspects of this book was that she was able to save someone who she disliked with her powerful fart. But before she saved someone, she had accidentally destroyed her school by a fart that lasted 5 minutes.

Some quotes that stuck out to me was “ Voy a llamarle Flaterina.” And “No es posible que una persona se tire un pedo durante 5 minutos, “

I would recommend this book to whoever likes strange fiction that involves superpowers, and also whoever likes stories about high school.

This book is a little weird, but it’s really good! It’s about a girl named Anabel who on her 13th birthday gets a visit from her grandma in a dream and tells her that she has a super power. Lots of chaos happens, but she also uses it for good! Anabel has the power of super farts. She also wants to get her crush’s attention but not by farting. I like when Gabriel says, “Realamente eres una heroina, un heroina improbable.” Anabel uses her powers to save someone from an asthmatic attack. High school Spanish kids that want a laugh from a book would like this book.

Anabel receives a talent on her birthday and it causes her to be very embarrassed especially in front of her crush, Gabriel. She accidentally destroys the school, gets her math exam postponed, and even breaks down a door. Lucky for her Gabriel doesn’t make fun of her and instead tells her how special and unique she is. “¡Tu talento es único e increíble!” The most important theme of the book is that you should be ashamed of the gifts you have even if they aren’t the most convenient.

In the book, a young girl named Anna has a dream where her grandma tells her that she has a special power. She later discovers that her power is not like her grandmother and it is in fact the power to fart. She uses this power to help save her friends when they are locked in a deadly closet.
The premise is strange and I think that it is a good book for learning.

Una heroína improbable is a book about a teenage girl that discovers her power. Her power is embarrassing but she ends up facing her fears and using her power for good. One quote that stuck out to me was “tengo una sensación rara en el estómago.” This quote stuck out because it shows up in the book a lot. Anabel discovers her powers and at first she destroys the school but in the end she uses her powers to save someone. If you like fictional hero stories then you would like this book.

Una heroina improbable is a story how a teenage girl figures out that she has powers that are unimaginable. She gets embarrassed but soon she ends up saving someone with her powers. The most important aspect is that you shouldn’t be embarrassed of yourself. Everyone is unique and special in a different way. A few quotes that stuck out to me were, “Eres una persona diferente. Eres generosa, inteligente y valiente. Realmente eres una heroina, una heroina improbable.” Gabriel, her first crush, tells her that after Anabel saves Maddie from asthma attack. Anabel was embarrassed about her powers, especially because of what Gabriel would think, but in the end, he didn’t care. He thought of her as brave. In conclusions, Anabel is able to do good with her powers despite the embarrassment she had to endure. I think teenagers would enjoy this book!

This book is very funny and interesting. It is about a girl named Anabel who has a rare power. She finds out that runs in her family when her parents say “ Quiero saber si existe un pober raro en la familia” This power ruins her reputation and ruins her chances with her crush Gabriel. This power is the power of farting, saved her friend from an asthma attack though.
Anabel realizes its not that bad to have this power because she can save people too.
I think many teenagers would enjoy this book.

This book is about a 13-year-old girl who discovers that she has an improbable superpower. She discovers her power on her 13th birthday when she falls asleep in class and has a dream where her grandmother tells her that she has a rare and very great power. This power is the power of having “super farts” which can make rooms smell however she wishes, blow doors off of their hinges, and even cause earthquakes! She finds this power very embarrassing. As she struggles to master her new power, she also deals with a mean Spanish teacher, a math test, and a crush on the most popular guy in her school. Does she succeed in mastering her powers? Will she be victorious in her battle against her Spanish teacher? Does she successfully capture the heart of her crush? Read the book to find out! I found this book to be boring, due to the lack of suspense which I felt it had. However, I would recommend it to boys of about 10-12 years of age, because I think that my little brothers who are around that age would love it due to the plot’s dependence on flatulence.

This book was very interesting with twists I wasn’t expecting. On Anabel’s 13th birthday she discovers that she has a superpower. She has farts that can cause earthquakes, blow up doors, and make rooms smell like perfume. But she doesn’t want anyone to know about her embarrassing power, especially her crush Gabriel. “Tengo un talento especial, pero no es un talento popular. En realidad es horrible.” Anabel ends up revealing her secret to Gabriel to save one of their classmates after they were locked in a closet by their teacher Señora Gruñones. If you like books with a funny plot and a good ending you would enjoy this ending.

Una heroina improbable es un novel sobre una chica que se llama Anabel que tiene poderes más extraño. Una chica pienso que ella tengo poderes extraño mas terrible. Pero durante la novel Anabel usar los poderes por muchos eventos. Anabel pienso que la poderes son muy mal porque los poderes son súper pedos. Pero en el fin de la novela Anabel ayuda un persona que tiene un grande problema. La novela enseña personas que una person no deber tiene miedo de quienes son. Pero la poderes de súper pedos es muy cómico. La citar muy importante en la novela es Eres una persona differente. La citar es importante porque es bueno que una persona es different. En el fin de la novela Anabel prueba la citar porque ella es different pero salvar la dia. Una person que le gusta novela cómico y tiene mucho suspensa el novel Una heroine improbable es para tu.
