Eight months ago, Violet left her husband Damien and her two children, Trevor and Amanda, in the middle of the night with only a note saying she wanted a divorce and was getting help on the east coast. Her friends Brittany, Lara and Nikki had taken to helping Damien out when they could. It was easier for Brittany, a single mom, so she was there frequently.

Brit's daughter Libby and Amanda are friends and play well together often having sleepovers when Damien was called in at night for surgery.

Another great story by this author. Not your regular "hook-up with your best friend 's husband". The attraction for each comes as a surprise to both of the main characters, especially since one is married to her best friend; but the best friend has walked away from the family. They both fight the guilt they feel but their attraction for each other seems to grow each time they see each other. One thing leads to another and they find themselves in a situation. The story is very believable, one ...more

What happens when you have insomnia and a great book? You can't put it down. I absolutely love reading Carmen Falcone books because she doesn't disappoint with the story and the heat index of the story. It is definitely for the 18+ crowd. In "Bad Friend (Bad Housewives Club, #2)" we get to know Brit, who is a single mother, and make up artist. She goes to a coveted convention and meets up with her best friend's ex husband Damian. He's in a sorry state since his wife left him and needs help. He ...more

Brit is a single mother and has been helping with her best friends children, her friend Violet left her husband Damien with the kids. One thing leads to another and Damien and Brit are kissing. Feeling guilty she is not sure what to do but neither can deny their attraction or the fact that their daughters are best friends. As things progress they will have issues and surprises come their way.

This is a book that I couldn't put down It has its highs and lows but it is worth the time to read it. I

Not really!
Brit is a single mom that is trying to better their life. Her best friend has deserted her husband Damian and child. She and her friends have been helping him out, and when he asks her to attend a gathering with him for the burn center he hopes to build she agrees. They soon acknowledge their mutual attraction, and As always the characters and story are brought to life by Ms. Falcones talented writing skills in this truly enjoyable read.

Win - Win - Win?

Brittany Brit is a single mom to 6 yo Libby. Shes unglamorous with a glam job. Shes been fantasizing about her friend Violets separated ex, Damian.

Damian is only separated and busy raising Amanda his 6yo daughter and 1 yo Trevor. Hes trying to secure funding for a burn center (his guilt over his moms injury). Hes dodging matchmaking attempts and gets Brit to help him.

Would it make her a bad friend to go after her friends ex?

The chemistry is palpable and steamy, mixed in with the

Bad Friend is book two of the Bad Housewife's Club and is a beautiful story. Brit is a single mom and Damian is her best friend's husband. His wife deserted him and their kids. Brit and Damian are well developed characters and have great chemistry together. This is a well written story with steam, unexpected twists and a great ending. I can't wait to read the next book in the series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

What a ride. Brit is a single mom who is picking up the slack of one of her best friends who dropped off the face of the earth. Damien is a man who is lonely and lost since his wife disappeared. Together they find happiness. This fabulous book has the same high naughty heat as all of Carmen Falcones books. So if you cant handle the heat stay out of the kitchen ;) ...more
